No On-Site Consumption Of Marijuana

Hes gotta be trolling, I don't see any argument here other then "stoners make bad employees." On a grow site, that is obviously an inflammatory sentiment.

I do see, however, the beginnings of a Cannabis Workers Union. An organization of workers who will collectively bargain for higher pay and the right to smoke in non-dangerous work environments.

In a world, where your employees must be licensed and cannot be anyone off the street, How would you deal with them banding together to stop rules you strongly agree with but the workers do not?

Text would be cleaner without the nobody cares part. Its like adding a catch 22 when you say that then add exceptions.

Nobody cares, except grammar nazis and trolls, but these threads are fun, so cheers.

It's not trolling. Person who doesn't smoke in a crowd of smokers gets more attention same with the person who smokes around all non smokers. If you limit yourself to either side of that or limit your judgments to only one side then a lot of products become not worth buying and a lot of locations become not worth visiting.

Enforced rules are not the same as rules people strongly agree on.

Thats just a bad habit to get into. Its what i imagine people thinking before they buy a bottle of popov.

After reading usually 's original first post on this thread, I thought to myself, "This guy may be a very well educated, astute businessman, but he is still trying to just be "the man"..

After reading many of the replies here, and your replies back to them, I realize that my first assumption was correct...

Basically, yeah. :) Crazy how many people believe "sober" people work better/longer/harder and more accurately, than people who responsibly use cannabis.

You were never hired. Trying to separate me from the members of the forum that use it non stop without knowing me is a mistake. You don't have any of my personal life info. Automatically putting everyone into a separate category if they don't smoke is also a mistake.

A person using it for their first week is not going to react the same as a person on there first week of not using. Nor is either person going to be able to react to another person that says its normal for them to do that and have to go through emotional mood swings and physical withdrawals. some people go through that cycle each time they smoke which is not something coefficient with a work place. Same thing when the person is quitting or starting once every 3 years.

You would not have to add the "responsibly" if that was true.

Name calling seems like irresponsible behavior imo.

Anyone have a clue as to what 'usually' is talking about here? Call me dense but I don't catch the drift. Possibly a comment from an earlier post or something?

Might help if you ask a specific member a question about the conversation you started with another member and seem unable to finish.

If you have to make 2 different groups each time you post your basically trying to be like the sign but with multiple things and multiple people.

Maybe try staying on topic instead of making yourself the topic:biggrin:

I believe what he is trying to imply is that if you have to put responsible in front of pot smoker then that in essence implies the state of irresponsibility, thus furthering his lack luster attempt at proving all pot smokers are essentially irresponsible/lazy/unproductive.

Which in my eyes further shows his hypocritical point of view because he's a (sorry for the strong expletive) fucking pot farmer!!!

Why don't you hire a bunch of Mormons who don't smoke to work for you, oh wait cause they don't believe in what your doing because your a (sorry again for the strong expletive) fucking pot farmer.

We still live in a world where the vast majority of people who believe in what your doing are those who self medicate, there are few none smokers who agree with the industry.

I for one only smoke a few times a year, but I believe in its cancer healing benefits, my grandfather and father both died of colon cancer, I just recently had biopsied polyp's, and I am ramping up for multiple rounds of Phoenix tears.

To sum it up, if you don't like the labor that comes with the industry, find a new (I'm not sorry for this one) fucking profession! No one forced you to start your business, that's like starting a brewery but only wanting to hire a brew master that doesn't like beer!

I don't usually (ha ha usually) involve myself in these types of rants, I was always taught to never argue with an idiot because he'll only bring you down to his level then beat you with experience, but I felt compelled to voice my opinion because some of the hardest working people I know smoke daily and work harder and more focused after smoking.

Just my two cents.

Beer comes with a sober cycle or public shame.

You and Schrews are both playing that game wrong lol. You have to post pics of receipts for the food for it to create the reality effect. Plain text only works on food you made or are about to make.

With the direction this business is going, that maybe necessary. Most small to mid sized businesses go out of business in the first few years. You have to keep your game tight. For decades this business has been underground. People could only hire very trusted friends. We did not have the option to open hire or seek professional help. Now we can, but open hiring means strict rules. Otherwise it could fuck with the investment, and that is not an option in this competitive market. The second anyone around me even acts 1 percent shady I drop them like a bad habit, and black list them. I don't fuck around anymore. For a time in this newly emerging legalish market I was a bit more lax. Not now.
