Hey have these old Nirvana packs at the bottom of my seed vault, must be 10 or 12 years old. I am a bit concerned about the viability of germination, being this old but hopefully I will get around to attempting to germinate a pack this year. Happy growing :)

Ive played with the feminized Bubblicious,Windcitysmoker. Some had a hint of skunk (as have most all of the Nirvana strains Ive grown) to them but most were on the sweet/fruity/berry/gum side of things , particularly after a cure. I really liked it and have been thinking about running it again. Appearance-wise they were all very uniform with a good mix of genetics.

I suspect they buy a strain, then F2 them to sell the seeds.

the sad / funny thing is that all the sb have always criticized nirvana for this, while doing the same thing.....
personally, my experiences with nirvana date back a few years ago, I think their white widow and nl x haze (now sterling haze) the best on the market.....

Nirvana is an excellent company. They are breeders like all the rest save for the care they take in their broods. I've never had a hermie or bad seeds. This year's order popped 103/103 (3 freebies). And they are gorgeous.

Their stealth shipping made me laugh my ass off. Nothing short of genius. And for $250? Fuckoff!! Can't be beat. Having said that, realgorillaseeds have turned my head for next year's crop along side them.

I'm aiming for 2k plants next year so I need proof. And that's in the pudding.

Dear Tycho, Thanks for planting those Nirvana GG4s, they look very healthy. I can't wait to see your final result and smoking evaluation. I'd love to try these and their cookies out too.

Hi TychoMono

Can you tell me please did you buy from their bulk site?
I had a look but I've been stung with bulk seeds in the past being what I would call seconds.

The price is very good, almost to good.

Could you tell me where the seeds good looking seeds please.

Thanks.

Yes I did. You'd be hard pressed to find a bad word about them. People in their forums are pretty loyal and very helpful. The staff all have accounts and are easy to hail.

I have to mention their stealth shipping. You can track your order easily as it moves from station to station.

When I got the package I laughed my ass off. Brilliant is all I'll say. While I wasn't intercepted, it did to a couple non-bulk orders I was following in the forums, and seeds were quickly reshipped. Like I said, I haven't found a bad word about them other than "They buy seeds, breed them and resell them cheap". Ya well... that's what everyone does, only they don't sell them so cheap. lol

I ordered 100 and received 103. 103 popped in the standard fashion.
- 1 cap of regular peroxide (3%) in 8oz of water.
- Soak 2 days
- Wet paper towels in baggies and set on a heat source (warm - not hot)
They sprouted in 3-4 days. One seedling went limp after the first true leaves emerged so I gently pulled it out and put it in the mixture above. I was sure it was going to kick the bucket but it came back and joined the rest under the lights as soon as I saw hairs forming on the tap root.

But it hasn't been all beer and skittles. I'm going to swallow my pride with a postmortem and post a lessons learned and best practices once this is over. It's going to be pretty embarrassing because I had about 350 autos (about 75 survive) and 100 photos in the ground. I can promise mistakes where people will think I'm an idiot, but that's OK, I'll take the hit because some new grower will read it and hopefully take the advice I shrugged off so lightly.

Master Kush is also still available directly on their site. Get the seeds you want now before they are discontinued. They are cheap.

Has anyone yet had a chance to compare Nirvana's Original Glue with an authentic GG#4 cut?
