oh the PPP. i love that shit. everyone else loves it 2 from what they have told me. i just ordered 2 northern lights and 2 AK48's lastnight. i get 2 freebies (hope their worth a shit) and i ordered a RockLock, think its from dinafem? anyone heard anything about it? its supposed to have the ability for some amazing yields. oh..... heres a couple pics of my last PPP i ran. i hope you guys enjoi yours as much as i did mine.

I ran several of the Rocklock's last year. They indeed are a good yeilder.. I was not very fond of the product from the 'smell/taste' aspect, but the buzz was full throttle.. several of my crew really dug it, so I kept my opinion to myself. I do have one more bean and will probably save it for next year (or gift it to a friend). Here's a couple shots for you to check out..

I definitely cloned it.. I had about 10 of them over the year (I grow only small amounts, but like variety). They all yielded just fine.. big main colas on every plant.. they were clones in the truest sense of the mother plant. I consistently got 2 ounces out of each plant, no more than 3 feet tall. I got very similar if not better yields and a much better product from 'Widowrella' from Female Seeds. Huge main colas with a very similar structure to Rocklock but the product was spicy in both aroma and flavor.

ICE

ICE

About 6 months ago, I ordered a 5 pack of ICE (feminized). Messed up germing them but ended up with 2/5 (my bad I was a rookie at heat mats). Anyhow, I named them Ice 1&2. Crazy right?! Ice 1 is a bigger yielder and looks more indy dom than Ice 2. Ice 2 DEFINITLY reeks of grapefruit but its yields werent what i was looking for.... so #1 i kept for a mother. Here is each one at 58 days :smoke out:

i have run the PPP freebies, 1st seed was a big fat lady
interesting on the experiences i have seen posted on effects
some find it pretty stimulating, the Durban must predominate for those reports
others(such as myself) found it very calming, not so stimulating, maybe it's the indica pheno
one of the more calming MJ i've ever had

Very nice plants JH i love Nirvana White Widow though. Shes been in my grow room from day 1 never could replace her. Her thc production is through the roof Lets see your frostiest buds here i come. i've had everything from really sativa genetics to extremely indica. It's amazing to plant them and let nature take its course i just provide the basic essentials. No rookie to nirvana either all i've ever grown is nirvana WW BB BM not a BB or BM fan though. WW owns my grow room and has for some time now. Find what strain that works best for you and run with it.

Nirvana's beans suck to germ... I have been trying to get 5 beans each out of a 3 pack and most crack after a long long time then peter out before the root goes down at all. I'll be lucky to get any to survive.

Meanwhile I am 5/5 with established seedlings for my own home made beans so its not my method.

Funny... I've popped several Nirvana seeds with no problem at all. The ones I have had the biggest problem with are Sagarmatha.. strange.

well I can also confirm issues with the 2 Nirvana Auto strains I ordered last year...

I bought 2x 5packs each of Nirvana Fem Northern Lights Auto and Nirvana Fem Blue Mystic Auto back in Aug 2010. I finally grew them all out.

so 10 seeds each to do a couple of time lapse projects.

Fem Blue Mystic Auto:
5- males
5 - Females (3 where runts, 1 really stretchy, 1 normal)
only 1 male & 2 of the females auto flowered under 18/6 (the stretchy and normal ones)

Fem Northern Lights Auto:
10 females (3 runts, 7 equal normals)
0 Auto flowered under 18/6 had to flip to 12/12 to start flowering.

I did these in two batches .... 5 of each at a time. First batch under 205w LED and the 2nd batch under my spare 400w HPS.

The NL Auto scrog time lapse vid clip in my time lapse vid thread is of one of the better NL "Auto"s in the LED batch. As you can see in that short clip, the screen is almost completely filled and still not flowering (18/6)... the timing screwed up what I was trying to capture in that time lapse ... that's why the vid is so short.

That was my experience.

The good thing is Nirvana seeds put those Out of stock sometime this winter apparently due to the complaints they received. They essentially say they have not seen any issue and it must be mass grower error (haha) but at least they still pulled them.

Now don't get me wrong, I have no beef with Nirvana, they usually have good product. It's just these that were sub par.

never had a problem w/ nirvana. they're one of the better vendors imo. ive done ak48's, swiss cheeses', PPP's and never had a problem once. on the auto front...... all i have to say is that they blow. complete waste of time ime

I'm curious how your Swiss Cheese turned out.. I loved mine other than somewhat of a medium yielding plant. I could not agree more on the autos.. but, I'm sure there are some people that need to use that type of plant or do nothing at all. If you don't fall into that category, I don't see the sense in growing plants of inferior genetics (Ruderalis) hence making inferior product.

Most auto's today only have a part percentage of Ruderalis in them,& are majority Indica & now more sativa x lines are used. But like you i dont see the point in growing them indoors, wasteing more electric for a shorter period of time, its only a couple of weeks in most cases anyway & for an inferior product although i have sampled some lovely autos done indoor i must say. Lots of potential for the great outdoors mind, where these things really come into their own imo.

Yeah SwissCheese? again pheno selection is important, i found some good yielders. little stinkers & a strong smoke, Nice White Skunk flavours/attributes!. more Skunk than Cheesey but v-nice twas too. I havent seen Red-Eye like that for a long time.

In my case, I was trying to use the autos for a time lapse video project.

They are also good for filling up/using some unused space in the veg room. In my situation, at the moment due to film equipment space needs, my veg room is actually twice as big as my flowering room.
