MMMM it sound nice 6 hour high and very medicinal and not boring indica high, year's ago I run Jock Horror, one of the most potent strains I have smoke (also have some rotten fruit pineaple smell and taste), many people who try it say it was too much potent for them, just mix that smoke with alcohol and was so easily to loose your memory and let strange thing's happened...

NL

NL

Nirvana NL ,the plants were like duplicates of each other, strong an solid with good form.
I'd say it's 3/4 way to WOW for effect. That's not bad at all really.
Easy grow too.

Next time I order, I'll be adding NL back to my stable. Grew a couple of crops 3 or 4 years ago. At the time my housemate and I concluded that, out of about 15 strains, it was the best high. The only criticism was that it didn't have much taste. Didn't taste bad, just not much taste. -granger

Out of 120 regular seeds from Nirvana's top strains, including 2 packs of Nirvana NL, I only found about 2 or 3 plants worth smoking, out of about 65 females total. A lot of the plants were like tasteless hay for the most part, with only a few notable exceptions. One of the NL plants was alright, so it's possible that you might find one, but when I say 'alright', I mean just about acceptable as decent smoke. Another alright one was ICE, as one or two plants out of that were probably the best out of the lot.
EDIT: Nirvana NL was not a patch on Sensi NL from 1999, but then again I've heard that the Sensi NL has now changed and is a lot weaker than old school NL as well.

What were some of the best strains in your opinion?
Did you try any of the good Sativas? Or just the Indica shit?

I'm thinking of strains to get like Jock Horror/PPP/FullMoon/Hawaii Maui Waui/Elderado/Haze, etc....

Otherwise Im just planning on getting more packs of Raspberry Cough. I already got 10/10 successful going from a pack now, and I plan on doing some pretty serious work with this strain. I really want to hunt through it for a special Cambodian Sativa female, and Male... Plus I could find a amazing Ice pheno in the mix too... I want to go as far as I can, and try s1,s2,bx1/bx2/bx3/bx4/bx5,f2/f3/f4/f5, etc...

It was a few years ago now, so I can't remember exactly, but I think it was 2 packs of White Rhino, 2 packs of NL, 2 packs of ICE, Super Skunk, White Widow. Since that time, the strains have changed, so the others were ones that are not available now I think.

Overall, not worth it in my opinion, because it was just too many plants to find any worth smoking. A lot were very generic and not potent. However, a few were slightly interesting, so on that basis I guess it worked out, plus the yield wasn't bad.

It would be preferable to get better seeds to start with, if funds allow, unless it's your first grow, then I'd get some of Nirvana's best seeds and give it a go.

I just finished trying some Nirvana Northern Lights and I couldn't have been more disappointed. One "female" plant didnt even grow any actual buds. The others, the buds were so airy that they aren't even worth smoking. The overall quality was crap too. I grew out some Nirvana stuff years ago and was pleasantly surprised, which is why I decided to order again recently. This time their stuff was terrible. Definitely wouldn't order again.

I grew out some Aurora Indica, 2 females, one wouldn't bud just leafy hairs FOREVER but the other was above average but nothing spectacular. Also grew out ak48 only had 1 female out of 3 popped it was also very decent for the few bucks they cost.

Everyone should grow NL and Skunk No1 cos they are about the best there is. When I was growing ( retired 2 years ago ) and, I've grown many strains, these 2 were the best easily I've grown. Yes, you can get caught up in the crazy 20 + thc strains and you may well find a keeper but, believe me, if you try the nl from nirvana and a good skunk you'll wonder why on earth you tried growing anything else. Having said that you wanna try Sadhu from Mandala cos it's great, but cannot compete with the potency of nl or sk1...

UK folks have no clue about real OG or Chemdog .You think NL and SK1 floored you . LMAO id hate to see what these do to you . IMO Sk and NL mediocre strains at best in the potency department

^ I got some really good Northern Lights earlier this year from a dispensary in California. It starts off pretty heady, then pure couch lock. It's pretty much the complete opposite of OG, but I gotta say I'd take a good NL over OG. To me, the only outstanding trait of OG is the smell and taste. Buzz is okay on the OG, but for me it doesn't last long at all.

Og is finicky and prone to mildew, so most of the OG you see is either indoor, or greenhouse. Northern Lights, White Widow, Blue Dream, these strains are really hearty and good for outdoor growing, so it's not as common to see an indoor example. Lots of times people compare indoor OG to outdoor strain X, and blame the strain, when it's just that the grower knows he can pass it off as indo or greenhouse when it's not.

I fully support and thoroughly enjoy nirvana genetics. I find you can easily find something just as good as the overpriced seeds.

I have grown
ak
bubble
NL
Skunk(this was the only one I wasnt that impressed with)
White Rhino
And a couple others im forgetting.
And also have done a few "pricey" strains. So I do not want to hear "hey man grow real seeds then you wont ever buy nirvana". These are real seeds with 100% germination on well over 100 seeds from them.

My NL ended up being the perfect nighttime smoke, really chilled me out and I could fall asleep no problem. the best part was at the time I had AK for the wakeup/crazy high, bubble for the midday chillin, and NL for sleep. Little leafy though, but I wasnt as good at growin as I am now.

Ive always had good success with Nirvana in the past. Just got back into the hobby and growing their AK 48 as it’s easy to grow. Plants are still in veg but they are looking good.

I've used Nirvana seeds since 2005.

The 2009 Northern Lights x Shiva was the best weed I ever had.
I made lots of seeds at home. I still use them, but the hybrid vigor is gone. :shucks:
