Moved them to a new space. Plants are now about 24 inches. The three Bubblicious are the plants on the left. Now that they have shown themselves, the final count is 2 SWTC99 x Bubblicious and one Vermont Rosebud in addition to the three Bubblicious plants.

Seems to be a nice 12/12 from seed plant. Have some Bubblelicious seeds but summer is nearly on us. Have to wait for fall.

Oh yeah, BillRose.
I had a Sunday wake and bake session this morning with some bud from that 70 day 12/12 plant. The cure has caused it to have a mellow almost "creamy" candy citrus taste and the bag appeal is great. Nice pale almost white buds, for lack of a better description.

I need to move north so I can play all summer too! Bubb seeds are burning a hole in my seed stash.

A few pics of the Bubblicious girls tonight
Ive switched to 7 grams/gal. Maxi-bloom for my nutes and 3/4 tsp. Silica for pH adjustment. Had a timer seize up last night and discovered a light on this morning. They got 7 hours extra light at the most. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it other than keep the schedule on track. They are happy and robust so they will be OK. Ive been picking a few of the mid level fan leaves in order to get more light into the center of the plant. Stretch is about 2x since they went into 12/12.
Seeing some hints of frost around the buds.
Not too much smell yet. Havent needed to use the carbon filter. Rubbing a sugar leaf reveals a nice fruity berry scent typical of the last grow.

Very nice plants capt. I love the bubblicious I have a cut of her that is about 3 yrs old now from a pack I bought back in 08. She breeds nice too I have a plant now that's a cross of bubblicious and sams mix x skunk#1/haze that turned out really nice. She will always have a corner in my box that's for sure. Here is the cross I was talking about she is coming down in about a week from now.keep up the great work bro you make it look eazy ;)

Hey Hotboxes, Im growing a couple crosses out that I made with her. She definitely seems to be the dominant plant in the mix, as far as I can tell to this point. Have you noticed the same?
Takkada, yes she is a good vegger, for sure. Ive noticed a drastic change in flavor after a few months cure. A smooth thick and candy/sweet citrus that coats your tongue.
A definite winner from Nirvana's stable.

Yeah for the most part I germmed about 10 seeds from about 100 lol, but 8 cracked open and I ended up with like 3 males and 5 females buts its been pretty even as far as mother and father traits. The plants that look more like the bbl tend to stay true to the original mother. If that helps at all. I have 5 chemdawg x snowdawg beans I am growing out hopefully I end up w/ a male I can play around with.

Wow, I wish I had gotten a pheno like that! The one I have flowering now is a complete piece of garbage that is getting binned, hopefully I'll get some better plants out of the rest of the pack at some point.

funny, I found two keepers in one pack, one in the pic yielded far more tho.

I bought 2 more packs, sadly I gave them to a friend, but yeah, great smoke, especially after a good cure!

cheers

Most of the plants I have grown out of the one pack I bought have been fairly identical.
Have you grown out the feminized seed or the regular? Perhaps there is a difference.

I bought a pack of five back in 08 and I had 3 different Phenos including the one I have now. I had 1 that was very sativa dom. that had a very strong grape bubble gum smell and taste, it was that big league chew in the pouch but her production was very leafy and airy and the high just wasn't there, the other was more of an indica hashy type nothing spectacular in the looks of it but it made up for it in the high, very strong. The only 1 I have left is the traditional BBL but it has more of a blue berry smell, with a hashy taste.

They were regular, I suppose the femmed would be more uniform tho, so makes sense..

I did have a sativa-ish pheno, but it wasnt as compact as I would have liked...

It was a regular (non feminized) pack. It doesn't look like anyone else's Bubblicious plants I've ever seen pics of, so I'm hoping it's just an odd outlier rather than a mixup or something. I still have seven more seeds to go through, so I'll find out eventually :D

Haven't been here for a while. Time for an update.
A few pics of the Bubblicious girls in their Hempy buckets. Today is day 47 for these plants. Looks like they will go another couple weeks at least. Trichs. are mostly still clear with just a few cloudy ones. Pistils just starting to noticeably die back.
They are still feeding heavily on Maxibloom, 5 grams/gallon along with some Floralicious Plus. I started at 7 grams but the result was the burned leaf tips you can see in the photos. Backing off to 5 gr./gallon stopped the burn and the plants are still cranking with the weaker solution.
Room conditions are fairly constant with a night-time temp of 70-72F. and lights on temp of 78-80 F. RH at 55% on average, sometimes around 60%.
Some of the branches are starting to sag under bud weight. Ive tied a few up already. They have a strong candy/berry /stinky/dank odor going.

For size reference, this plant is about 3 - 3 1/2 feet tall.

Would you say Bubb is a heavy yielder? Sure looks like it. Is the late flower odor an obvious MJ plant smell? Or would it not immediatly be connected to MJ by most.

Yes I would say it is at least a medium-heavy yeilder depending on the growers abilities and growing conditions. Im sure someone with better abilities than I could make this plant produce more than it has for me. It certainly does well compared to many other strains Ive grown in the past.
The late flower odor isnt overwhelming. Ive never grown the strain on its own and have always had a few stinkers mixed in with it but it seems to be one of those strains that keeps most of it's odor to itself unless disturbed. There is an increase in plant smell when the lights kick on but it is faint and easily disguised. I would say that a person unfamiliar with the MJ plant smell wouldnt recognize it for what it was, particularly if you have another odor going in the area. I've got one of those automatic Airwick scent dispensers going now ( NOT in the grow-room but in the adjoining room where the temp.control fan exhausts) with the spray set at every 16 minutes. That's pretty much all I need in my particular situation at the moment. That said, everyone's security situation is different to an extent and I wouldnt call this strain a "stealth strain". If odor is an issue and would jeopardize your freedom I wouldn't grow BBL without some odor control.
