Thank you Pongster! I am planning 2 weeks of just water, maybe 18 days depending on when i chop them. I’ll start taking tester buds this week. Smooth smoke indeed!

Update on the Veg Closet

Update on the Veg Closet

Here is an update on the veg closet. All 4 girls are doing well. The 2 GSCracks have been fimmed as well as the bigger Sour Blueberry. The little SB we reported into a 5 gallon bag and then fimmed. I plan on reporting the other 3 bigger girls into 5 gallon bags as well and top once more.

Once the are reported, I’ll begin cleaning up the bottom 3rd of the girls to have energy to focus more on main colas(thanks for this info Pongster!).

The girls have not been fed anything yet and are thriving on the FFOF soil.

The plan is to move the girls into the flower tent when the AK’s are chopped. Hopefully within a week or 2.

Hopefully I’ll get some pictures of the AK tonight once the lights come on. They are doing well and the calyx’s are exploding!

Pictures clockwise: All 4 girls together. The ones up front are the SB’s, the 2 in the back are GSCrack. First 2 solo pictures are the GSCrack’s and the last 2 pics are the SB’s

we are waiting :D
:lurk:
:rasta:

Thanks for keeping me on my toes Pongster, lol. I figured I was going to water them today, why not takes them pictures today as well.

Overall, all is doing well. Most of of the fan leaves are yellow and I’ve been plucking them if they come off easy. If it’s still solidly attached, I let it me.

I was thinking of chopping early next week as they would be at about 58 days but I think I’m going to let the go another week and chop them in 2 weeks which would put them at about 65-66 days. I have the in-laws coming to stay with us next weekend for my youngests bday so anything next weekend is off limits and I’m glad I invtested in that carbon scrubber :)

They are currently at day 52ish of 12/12. Temps have been solid at 82 with lights on and 64 with lights off hence the purple hue coming on. RH has been great at 55-60% with lights off and 40-45% with lights on.

These calyxes continue to explode as well as putting the trichs on. I checked tonight and trichs are clear but the cloudy is coming on. I did give them more Finisher tonight, but it will be straight water from here on it.

The one smaller girl I didn’t top did spread here branches a bit but has a monster cola.

Thanks for visiting and please chime in with any feedback.

Girls were chopped down this morning. All 5 of them. Total flower time was 62 days. There was 1 girl who could have gone another week but had to bring them all down. They are now in the tent drying. Temps in the tent are 67 with a RH of 50%. I’d prefer the RH to be about 60% while they are drying to prolong it. I put the wet soil buckets in the tent to help bring some moisture to the tent.

I had snipped a few of the smaller flowers early in the week and during them in the jar. The smell and taste are not their yet but the buzz is excellent. It motivates me

The 4 girls going now will veg another week or so. They need to be transplanted to 5 gallon bags but with the in laws coming in this weekend, that will have to wait.

Have a great weekend!

Thank you P! Cannot wait to get this cured. I’m already smelling some beautiful things in the drying tent.

Now to get those GSCracks and Sour Blueberry’s in the flower tent. I can’t wait for those to finish up.

Sorry for the disappearance. Just had a really crazy month with holidays, family, and starting a new job so I didn’t have much time to jump on here let along take care of my girls. Just wanted to post some pics of my dried and still curing AK48. I’m not sure of the weight I pulled as this is all mine and I don’t have a scale but probably somewhere in the 5-7oz range. I’ve got plenty of excellent smoke and that’s all that counts.

I love it. Definitely got the up sativa high. This buzz is mostly in the head with a little buzz on the body. Just what I was looking for.

The taste is fantastic and is still getting better everyday. I had several phenos including one that had cherry and grape. This girl was the one that got a lot of purple coloring in late flowering.

Overall I am quite happy with this grow as this was my first in years. I would recommend Nirvana’s AK48 to anyone interested in her.

I do have the Sour Blueberry and GSCrack at 25 days into flower and will get that grow diary set up tonight.

Thanks for everyone’s help as well as following my diary!

Had an auto version of AK48 recently, grew it in a small pot alongside a flowering photo. The AK turned out pretty small (half a zip dried) but the bud is shockingly good. Love how stinky it is, the dank wet organic aroma, and the effect is very enjoyable.
