Weekly update. Girls are doing great. They are one week into flowering and they all look healthy. Have been flushing them the last 2 waterings as a precaution as I may have overfed them(leave tips and slight clawing). They are vibrant though and love the LED. Hopefully some sexier pics next week as flowers begin to grow.

PS Sorry for the shitty pics. Better pics when flowers start to grow, I promise.

On another note, I received my order from Seedsman yesterday and I have begun germinating 2 GSCrack and 2 HSO Sour Blueberry seeds. Can’t wait to smoke these in a few months.

Girls are at 21 days now of 12/12. Slowly getting there but they are looking and smelling good. Starting to see some crystals on the sugar leaves. 2 of the 3 big ones are smelling fruity when I rub my fingers on the main stem. All girls are healthy as well. I also included the next go around. Seedsman GSCrack and HSO’s Sour Blueberry.

Looks good.

We did some AK-48 from Nirvana maybe 15 years ago or more (??), and still have a few of the beans remaining in the older beans collection. Probably would pop if we tried.

In my organic soilless mix I was using at that time, they had a somewhat unique flavor, were medium-high in production, and a fairly decent stone, though not something that stopped me in my tracks and left me wanting to include her in every round. Thus, she's not been in my stable of mothers for many years.

Good luck.

Thanks Moose! This is my first grow in years so I wanted an easy and resilient plant to ease me back in.

I am hoping the fruity smelling girls are the Cherry phenos that people have raves about. I see 2-3 phenos out of the 5 going.

I do plan on chopping a few down earlier (20% amber) as I prefer that uppity high as opposed to the couch lock and let the other 2 girls go a bit longer.

I had thought about trying cloning for the first time with the girls but I unfortunately do not have the room.

If my family member with the more functional phone camera stops out, I'll ask him to photograph the original envelope sent from Nirvana years ago, and post it; assuming it's where I think it is in my seed collection.

Again, best of luck.

Day 25 of 12/12. Just took some quick pictures of the crystal formation on of the big girls. The 2 bigger girls are flowering beautifully. Definitely got some different phenos here for sure.

wow the leave structure still looks the same even after 15 years. Never forget those skinny star like leaves. Looking good.

Nice plants!

Any chance for some pics without the LED?

Never grew the AK48, lots of AK47 though and always a great line.

I’ve got what looks like 2 different phenos, the thinny sativa leaves looking one and and a short squat fat leaves pheno. I’m also hoping one of these turns to be the elusive cherry pheno.

Yeah, this was one of the 1st strains I’ve ever grown...

I picked this because it’s easy to grow. This is my first grow in over 10 years and i wanted something simple to get me back into it. So far I’m quite pleased.

Absolutely Lester! I’ll get some better looking pictures tonight minus the LED lighting.

Here are some better pictures without the blurple light. You can definitely see the different phenos with the lanky sativa and short and stocky indica. I got my 2nd light and the girls are loving it. It also helped raise the temps in the tent to 80 degrees with lights on

Also gave the girls their first shot of Green Planet Massive tonight.

Finally set up my fan and scrubber. You can definitely notice the smell difference right way. I know iPower products have been bashed on here, but so far I’ve got 0 complaints. I have it on the low speed and it’s barely enough negative pressure and noise is tolerable.

I didn’t have time to to snap sexy bus shots but hopefully in the next day or to when I have time. Currently at day 32 of 12/12 and they are starting to really frost up and buds are getting juicer(is that a word?)

I did take a picture of the veg closet. The 2 up close are GSCrack and the back 2 are Sour Blueberry. I had an issue with germination so one of the Sour Blueberry is way behind.

Day 34 of flower

Overall plants are looking good. I’m starting to come across some issues though. Hopefully these head shots are sexy enough for now.

One of the big girls fan leaves are starting to turn yellow(see first picture). She is the sativa looking one. I think she may underfed as all of the other plants don’t show sign of yellowing. Buds on her are looking good and beginning then fatten up. I did give her a little dolomite lime tonight when I fed her

The 2 smaller girls are taking a bit longer to fatten. Small buds for the most part but shiny!

Overall I’m happy where I’m at at this point. I will probably go 8-9 weeks with them and start flushing in about 10 days-2 weeks.

Loving the new carbon scrubber/fan combo. It has killed any smell that was coming from the tent.

Lookin' happy.

Still haven't gotten together with the person with the phone camera to photograph and post some of the old seed collection. Seems we typically see each other in the middle of the night, anymore, and by then I'm too whooped to do anything other than stare into space and mumble.

But soon, I hope.

Thanks Moose and Pongster. They are getting close! Moose-I’d love to see pictures of that seed collection. I’m slowly building my collection up

Pongster-No mustache. I shaved it to look like the 1983 action figure, lol. I also found out Teela is not my daughter!

Day 43 of flower,

Girls are packing up on the well as well as the crystals. Hopefully my pictures show some justice. I took a picture of a yellow fan leaf. All the plants seem to be doing it some faster than others. It’s the big fan leaves in the middle. Mag or N issue? Overall though buds are looking great and I’m quite happy. Probably another 2 weeks or so to go to chop time!!

Looks like several different phenos out of the 5 pack of seeds.

Starting to see some purple develop on the sugar leaves edges. Lights out temps are running about 63-65.

I have begun flushing and it’s water from here on out.
