Aaron rodgers loves being the center of attention so i think he's looking to fool another team to hire him again.
Im looking for those Sahlen's around here, Buzz, but doesnt seem like they carry them locally. Buying them direction from the company or on amazon are always options i guess.

Yeah doesnt seem likely Rodgers will go to LA, but the Rams dont seem to be willing to shell out more than the 27M that Stafford is due next year. Or maybe theyre willing to go into the 30s but Stafford wants another 40 bag fully guaranteed. Fwiw i do think rodgers will be better next year than he was this year, it takes a good 2 yrs to fully get back to form after a serious injury.
Hey Superx, how long do forwards take to fully recover from serious hamstring injuries? Does it take a year or less than that?

I got into the NBA during the Jordan years of course, lost touch afterwards when the bulls were gawdawful, got back into it when Derrick Rose won mvp, and been sorta keeping track since. PW should be a fan of the Nuggets, they got the best player in the world now, a 7ft flabby white guy who cant jump but is more skilled than most point guards.

Supposedly there's 43 I&O locations in TX and 9 in CO. Have you been to one, PW? I might be interested in checking out CO sometime in the future, think ive only had a layover in their airport.

That's the type of thing u can only do with a woman u know really well, using multiple coupons at a fast food place.

Is that what u smell around ur garden, Superx, myrcene and limonene? How about those peat fires, i bet that smell goes good with a nice smoky, peaty whiskey...

I think there's a kind of cheap sushi roll u can make with the imitation crab sticks, but that takes more ingredients (rice, veggies, seaweed wrap etc). Still, i guess it's like the asian version of a slim jim, except it needs refrigeration.

Louisiana style hot sauce is always handy to have around, for wings, chili, pizza, chicken, goes with most everything. Does it have butter in it? When u make buffalo wings you mix it with melted butter and toss the wings in that. *chef's kiss*
If u ever get to a Trader joe's they have this green dragon hot sauce that's pretty good, it's not too spicy and has good flavor, a little sweet.

I&O started in California, i think they were the original drive thru hence the name. Now they go as far west at TX, maybe even CO (do they have In & Out in CO, PW?), but no further than that.

Ah, no muzzle flash. Well that's handy, especially at night, but ur right, the noise is the most noticeable part until u can get to some wide open land.

Ive never been to a Home Run Inn restaurant, they still have 9 locations around the south and west sides and burbs. Didnt hear about them closing, is that true?

That's cool u made some feminized seeds, PW. Did u use colloidal silver or just try to hermie them with light cycles? The GG x Arctic cookies sounds interesting as well, i wonder if any breeder has made that cross before. You going to grow out some of that cross next round?

There's a meme that if Costco ever raises the price of their dog and soda from $1.50 that you know inflation is REAL bad. It's like the Waffle House index, if a storm or h-word causes a waffle house to close u know it's apocalyptic.

Well, Lakers beat the 1st qtr and 1st half spread but only beat the mavs by 8, line was 9.5 before tipoff, 5.5 at open. That was some good closing line value if u jumped on it at 5.5 or 6.5. Luka also disappointed with 19pts but did have a triple double. Im noticing that sometimes a 1st half spread bet is sometimes a safer bet than a full game spread.
For tonite, I like knicks -10 over philly, or -5.5 at halftime if you want to be safer. I also like Bulls +9 vs Clippers, or +4.5 at halftime. I think Philly is embracing the tank and Bulls young guys are playing better defense than expected.

As far as NFL, rumor has it that Rodgers wants to join the Rams and bring Davante Adams with him, but this will only work if stafford is traded. If this is true i guess that means Rodgers will accept a relatively low salary for a starting QB, like 25M/yr? Maybe even less?
There's a few In and Out's here now. We have some pretty good food around. Lots of good Mexican places. But not a lot of options for seafood. We have GB's Fish and Chips, but I grew up in the Seattle area and there are lots of seafood places there. There's On the Hook fish trucks around now too. They get their chowder from Ivar's in Seattle. The trucks are in a bunch of other states too, so if you like fish and chips and see one I'd recommend it.

I used STS (Silver Thiosulfate) to reverse them. I bought the stuff on Amazon and mix it myself. Nobody has made the cross before. The Arctic Cookies was created at a dispensary in Denver. I think they reversed an Alien Rock Candy because they have a few crosses with that in it. GG4 and Arctic Cookies are both really frosty strains so hopefully that trait gets passed on to the offspring. I'm gonna grow another round of the GG4 first, but I'm kinda excited to try growing some I created.

There's a good fish and chips place in the Denver airport too. It's called Rock Bottom Brewery. Forgot to mention Rock Bottom. GB's or the truck is my favorite, but that place is good too.

your thinking of a California roll. usually the cheapest. i usually get tuna myself. places ive tried out here really arent very good. ive had better fresh sushi at publix. they make it right in front of you. or maybe im thinking of kroger.

just gotsome culvers. cheese wasnt melted andjust wasnt put together well. i blame this location. tried the concrete mixer for the first time. it was alright.nothing to write home about.

yeah i think Rodgers is pretty much done. might be a little better this year but thats about it

yes, arog definitely likes to be the center of attention and mcvey is not a coach he could push around so it would not be a good fit in that regard as well
i knew that in n out were expanding but part of their deal is everything is fresh so they have to be close to a central facility that manages distribution
/at least thats what a manager told me one day
it seems like everyone has their own style california burger now days and now i just saw jack has a smash burger
/i might have to check it out
part of the coupon thing is she likes to eat just as much as i do if not more and also knows how cheap i am if i can save a dollar
@shithawk420 i still need to try a culvers but its going to be one of those road trip things
yeah the california roll is that basic sushi made with the krab meat and its usually like a crab salad (BOING! i could make those sticks into crab salad)
i used to be a fan of the los angeles lakers during the chick hearn/ magic era and those were some good years
i just kind of lost interest in it and never really got back into it
@Travis Kelcee those are some good seats! if there are no fans what do you do at the game?

so it looks like we might be breaking records tomorrow with the heat! and im soaking it all in
today i opened all the windows and doors in the house and just let the warm/ fresh air flow
im on a fish kick now after hearing @PadawanWarrior talk about the fried fish but the places out here are=so sux unless you want to go some places nice
im thinking im going to get a few pieces of salmon and just cook it up in a pan and serve over wild rice with some asparagus on the side

Still do pyro for player intros.

In the top pic on the left side you see a larger stage with a small stage on either side. The dunk squad would hold up signs during the game that said "Make Some Noise". The Philly fire marshal and I laughed our asses off.

They pump in situational crowd noise, including the booing and taunting when the opposing team is at the foul line.

Most bizarre thing I've ever seen.

ok that makes sense and it still gets the players pumped up and looks cool on tv
i remember when they had the empty stadiums during covid and would pump in the crowd noise, my favorite were where some stadiums would let people have cut outs made to sit in the seats

Some Culver's are pretty good. The one in Aberdeen South Dakota is really good, but here in the Denver area it's still good, but the employees don't care as much. In Aberdeen it's considered a decent job, especially for kids. But here it's kinda looked at as just another fast food place so they don't take as much pride in their work.

Smash Burger can be good too. They're all over around here. But I even like the DQ cheeseburgers. I actually just bought a bunch of fresh ground beef yesterday to make some burgers tomorrow. I think I'm gonna make them on the Egg with some hickory chips. I haven't used coal to make burgers in years. I've been lazy using a propane grill.

Where abouts in California are you? It's hard to believe there isn't any decent fish and chips if you're on the West Coast. I think we all might like the fried squid even better than the cod, but they're both delicious. If you're ever in Seattle you have to go to Ivar's on Pier 54. The seagulls are crazy.

Try a Sahlen's if you see them.

MamaD is a retired nurse. She worked ICU and PCU units until she blew her knees out. Eventually went to employee health and then finished working for the State. Tough job but she loved bed side nursing and missed it when her knees went bad.
Which ones should I get? The all beef or the beef and pork? And Natural or Tender Casings? Probably Natural. I'm thinking about ordering some. Thanks Buzz. :joint:

I just saw the shipping charges, but I'll have to be on the lookout for sure.

Ah, ur from washington state then, PW? U like the 'hawks? Those LOB years were pretty good, won their only title.
With plane travel and ice machines, it's no big deal to get fresh ocean fish for CO and IL. But CO isnt big on seafood, eh? What about Rocky mountain oysters? Lol, just kidding.
Those food trucks, they serve a fish and chips like british style? Big fat chips and a huge piece of cod with a light, crispy batter? Some sauces to dip in. Superx knows what im talking about. They take their fish and chips seriously.

So ur the only one who's made this strain, eh? That's actually pretty nice. Let us know how it turns out. How does it do in the yield and quickness to finish department? Bout average?

So i guess youre not scared of heights, huh TK? Cause it's just all catwalk up there, right, walking on grates, 200' above the ground?

Does a california roll have tuna, hawk? Isnt it just sticks of fake crab meat, avocado and cucumber in a roll?

Usually grocery store sushi isnt great cause it's been sitting refrigerated for a while, but i could see a fresh roll being surprisingly good.

If u got cheddar it doesnt melt as readily as american. Cold cheese is a bit of a downer on a burger, and they made it sloppy too? Sounds like they were off today. If theres a next time u go there, tell them to make it good this time cause last time was sorta ass, and Hawk dont eat no ass burgers. He'll either eat ass, or a burger, but not a burger that tastes like ass, cause that aint natural.

i think mcvay appreciates a talented and veteran QB, he has nothing but praise for staffod, but yeah, there's a decent chance he would at some point have major conflicts with rodgers if he was the starting qb.

Crab salad is decent, would u eat that on rice or bread, Pops? Could be a poor man's lobster roll.

Lakers are kinda good now and have Luka, a top 5 player in the league. You should try to catch a game if theyre on, luka likes to talk a lot of trash

Not afraid of heights. Worked commercial construction for 35 years. Got my name on all the tallest buildings in Philly. Worked on the Phillies and Eagles stadiums, nuke plants, bridges......

The catwalk at the Sixers/Flyers arena is so big you need a map or you can get lost. Not kidding.

its all about that snap

Monthly Family Dinner Day is today at our house. Our nephew will be joining the old people today as well.
Roast pork butt with a Jerk dry rub and I mixed up a mopping sauce for the first part of the cook. The Loaded Broccoli Salad is making another appearance too, but with less dressing applied. I will slice some sweet potatoes into chips and bake them with olive oil and salt.
MamaD made a pecan praline cheese cake for the final stuffing.

Natural Casing Pork & Beef Hot Dogs are the snappy ones.

The first time I cooked them was in a cast iron pan. They cooked themselves.

so those must be lit with the electronic ignition? is there a standard set up most places use or you just have to check out their gear and make it work for you?

The flame units are electronic ignition and controlled by a DMX controller. The same type controller used by DJ's for lighting, foggers, cryo jets, confetti cannons, etc etc.
