Your backyard must smell like heaven when all the flowers are in bloom, Buzz.
I agree, Hawk, that pizza looks righteous. Looked like it could have used more browning but like buzz said, photos sometimes dont show the true color/picture.
You can tell Buzz likes to cook from the seasoning in his oven haha.

I guess the season opener for MLB is in Korea on March 20-21, between the dodgers and giants. Then the rest of the league plays their openers on the 28th.

Usually you need a 1st rd pick and a top 12 one at that to get a good QB, maybe the rams can work some magic and find a gem in the later rds. Who was the last non 1st rd QB to be a star? Dak? Kirk or Russell?

Yeah Buzz that's the retirement dream, good size patch of beautiful land, no mortgage and cheap taxes. And u have a grow thread too? Ill make sure to disperse some likes in there.

That straight up looked like something you bought from a decent restaurant, Hawk, great job on the chicken teriyaki with white rice and steamed broccoli. Very healthy too as well as tasting just as good as any burger & fries. You baked the chicken? And scratch made sauce is always good, did u use white or apple cider vinegar in lieu of mirin? Theyre not sweet like rice vinegar so maybe use less of them and more of the sugar.
You have to show up pics of what u grill, i bet theyre going to turn out great. You think you have grilled outdoors since before covid?

I have a cheap pizza stone as well as a light perforated steel pizza pan, not sure if they make much of a difference in the oven even preheated. An 18lb steel pizza plate is heavy duty but i guess you need the mass to hold that heat.

Hopefully the extra $5 you spent for the metal grinder means it lasts u much much longer, DB.

Yes you would think the quality of the metal grinder was superior...but I think they guy at the corner store gets them cheap from wish. I feel like I got ripped off. Buyers remorse. Should have spent the extra $10 and got a real grinder at the dispensary for like $27. Damn. Whatever. I'll just put the dirt balls from the corner store in my grinder and grind them up and sell it as preground Indian sativA if it breaks. Mom is over here making eggs and bacon.

i fried the chicken thighs in a little bit of oil. Crispy skin is one of the keys to chicken teriyaki. It wont get as crispy in an oven. Heres a fun fact. The Teri in Teriyaki means glass or glossy. I heard its not real teriyaki if it isnt glossy or shiny. You can see in the second pic i posted of the teriyaki from a Japanese restaurant thats its really shiny or whatever you wanna call it.

For the sauce i used soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey and sugar.at the end of heating those ingredients i used a corn starch slurry to thicken it up. For my first attempt it turned out good. Next time im gonna use sake and mirin and taste the difference.

Yeah i was grilling before and after covid but not on a charcoal grill. Its been a while. I thought about getting something bigger and better but i dont need it unless this cheap grill is a POS and the paint starts flaking or something. Think ill put it together in a little bit.

Not bad doob. At the dispensaries in IL top shelf still goes for $60 an 1/8th. FUCK dispenseries. Only thing ill buy is oil and edibles if i ever go to one. Closest one is in Milan IL i think. Think i saw they have their own brownie mix with THC in it or something. You buy a bag and make your own brownies. That could be cool

tom brady would be the first name that comes to mind, brock did purdy good in sf, but im not going to tag him with star status
jalen hurts was a 2nd round pick and might get himself a ring before its all over
dak is ok but he hasnt really been able to take the next step in the playoffs
russ could cook in his prime
im sure im missing a few names here but as you know the nfl draft is always a crap shoot
for every mahommie, you will have a jamarcus russell or a kyler candycrush (not as bad a bust but you get where im going here)
/until herbert goes big i might throw him in there, but i think he is a great qb
#f-spanos
free agency starts tomorrow and i cant wait to see where some names end up
another good sauce to use would be tonkatsu sauce hawk, its a littel sweeter with some tang but goes great with fried/grilled/baked meats
that is awesome that you got yourself a bbq grill man and im sure you are going to rock that thing as the weather gets nice
is it like a weber kettle? those kick ass
i bet you could also find a hibachi on the cheap too which is great for cooking up skewers or thinner cuts of meat
i have an old weber kettle that is lower to the ground that i take with me camping for the places where you cant have ground fires
ive cooked pizza directly on the grill before, you just have to be sure to be generous with some oil on both sides of the dough so it moves easily and flip it once so both sides toast up
/dont go too crazy on the toppings
i have a couple metal grinders doob and they are the way to go but i dont grind my weed, just break off a chunk and toss it in the bowl like god intended

eta: yeah hawk! that thing looks about right! get some good charcoal and maybe some wood chips and you will be rocking it man

Hawk are you going to use the grill in your room? Be careful. Wonder what Buzz is doing. Probably house stuff. Poprocks glad you're back buddy. Hey bababooey!

That's a great looking grill for $15 brand new, if the screws get loose on the handle just tighten them down, you can probably use that thing for years so long as u take care of it.

Yeah Pops, i didnt mention brady cause he's been around forever and is now retired, but Purdy and Hurts are 2 good ones who weren't 1st rounders. Although hurts wasnt great that last half of the season, wonder if the eagles are worried they overpaid.
I was gonna ask, F spanos and all but whatchu think about harbaugh going to the chargers? That'll be interesting to see how he'll do. He might turn that thing around real quick, like he did in San Fran when he first got there.
So u flip the pizza dough while cooking on the grill? So after the first flip you add toppings? How would Hawk cook a frozen pizza on the grill, can't really flip that. Maybe over indirect heat with the lid on?

Yeah DB, mac is getting traded to Jax for a 6th rd pick in this year's draft. That's not much compensation for someone the patriots spent the #15 overall pick on, but at least they didnt trade up for him back when they drafted him.
He apparently grew up in jacksonville so it's nice he'll be returning home, trevor lawrence is the unquestioned starter there so u might not see him play much.

That hamburger helper looks decent, does it last u 2 meals or just one big meal?

that had to leave a bruise at least doobah! it dident look like he was really snapping the kick but he could have also broke his shin unless he was a bad ass
/he was not a bad ass, watch some of those thai fighters/ mma guys kick
man i havent had hamburger helper in ages but that looks grinding! meat and pasta in a cheesy sauce, i would have added a little extra cheese on that bad boy just because i love cheese!
yeah i saw how m.jones went for a 6th round pick
i guess thats about what he is worth right now, any news on his contract?
if he is from jax it might be good for both him and the jags
im kind of excited that harbaugh is back and the chargers have a team he can work with
they might be looking to shift a bunch of talent with m.williams, k.mack and bosa all on the trading block so we will see what they have to kick off next season
but as you know, there is a gypsy curse on the team and they play in the afc west (kc!)
and most importantly #f-spanos
yeah i would flip it so both sides are cooked, then top
i would not cok the first side that long, just enough to brown it a little and then let the rest finish and melt the cheese and heat up the toppings
like buzz said if i was adding sausage i would pre cook that and it wouldent hurt to sautee things like the onions/ bell peppers/ mushies too
maybe if hawk thaws the ready made pizza first it could work on the grill or just put a little bit of charcoal in the grill
not something ive ever tried or even thought of, but that would be a kick ass camp food!
/ bring a couple frozen pizzas in the cooler and heat them up on the grill
went to a place called baba kabob for some middle eastern food
https://babakabobsd.com/
f'n ginding!
got the steak kabobs, chicken kabobs and the chapli kabobs, plus i asked for extra sauces
all so good

so are you guys digging the time change? its not like i have a real schedule so i can sleep in all i want but i did get up early this morning just to stay on time
its all good thoe, i only need like 4-5 hrs sleep at night, plus my nap and im good

likes for all you guys!

You should start researching some recipes on the internet, DB, you'll be able to cook tastier and healthier meals in no time. Just get some basic spices, S&P, some kind of red/spicy pepper (if u dont mind spice), garlic powder/granulated/salt etc, some sort of tomato paste/crushed etc. For like $20 of basic spices, oil/butter, you can make a wide range of things. The actual groceries will be more of course. But i bet in 6 months u can be making meals like Hawk or Buzz. You can do it in a week actually if u can follow directions.

Mac is only making 3M this year, but he has a 5th yr option that can be exercised by may 2nd for
26M. The jags wont pick it up of course, it's meant for the franchise guys.
It can be burdensome dealing with ticket requests for hometown players, but maybe he'll have more local support if he doesnt play well, assuming trevor is injured.

Yeah, definitely seems like there's going to be a whole new look to the bolts next year. If harbaugh can fix that defense and get some more steadiness and depth to the offense, they could be a 12 win team next year, even give the chargers good games.

Chain pizza places use fully cooked meat for their pies, even the sausage you can eat without cooking. It's not as good as raw sausage of course, yeah you'd have to cook raw longer but risk burning the edges if u cook too long at too high of a heat.

There's plenty of stuff online about grilling pizzas, but like u said maybe if it's room temp at first it'll cook faster so u wont burn it over high heat.

How often do u get the middle eastern food? I dont get it more than once every 2 months i think, but it's always good eats.

How long is your average nap, more than an hour? That's how long i would need if i slept less than 5 hrs a night.

3m isnt bad when you add that to his previous money
fla is cheap and he could buy his hillbilly dream house on a canal and still have money left over for a sweet boat!
t.law is the starter but he could be a solid 2nd stringer
i would go under on 12 wins for the la cocks of la, but you know there is a -1 for me when it comes to the chargers
...
......
wait for it

#F-SPANOS

that is some next level thinking baba, doob could become the next iron chef and make all kinds of grinding shit on the cheap
but that might get too sexy for him
you know he is walking on the kah'mens and meeting all kinds of hawt girls , so the guy is
fighting them off with a stick
throw in a hawt meal and it might tip the boat

i am a big fan of middle eastern food! so i like to get it when i am @home
add in the fancy spices they use in their marinades and all the awesome sauces that go with a good seasoned rice and im in

yeah, pops is right.you gotta flip the dough on the grill. And i wouldnt waste charcoal on a frozen pizza unless it was a Papa Murphy's or something. wait, papa murphy isnt frozen.that would be perfect on the grill. My next accessory is gonna be a charcoal chimney. they got one thats the same brand as my grill for $10 so thats gonna be a great investment right off the bat. Charcoal i got is Kingsford No Light or whatever its called. Its got lighter fluid on it already or something. If i get the chimney i wont need fluid ever again.

So im gonna try to go to a meat market thats pretty close by. Its in a house thats over 100 years old and looks real old fashioned butcher shop. Ive got some thin cheap sirloin steaks i ordered off the Walmart App so i didnt know they were gonna be thin and small. So i will probably do those and some burgers tomorrow and get a feel for the grill before i start putting expensive cuts on there.

Dont really know whats going on with football. I dont even know who most of these guys are. Is Aaron Rodgers gonna play for the Jets this season? Dudes already 40

And u have a grow thread too? Ill make sure to disperse some likes in there.
Haha you sure did disperse, but I was not fishing for likes. I was making the point that Likes are in the Cannabis sections of ICmag. I was going to give Likes for posting in the thread.
You can tell Buzz likes to cook from the seasoning in his oven haha.
Yeah the oven gets a workout and I knew that the oven needs cleaning. It's a self cleaning oven so I have no excuse. I'll blame it on my wife.
:D
Buyers remorse. Should have spent the extra $10 and got a real grinder at the dispensary for like $27.
The old saying said by old people goes like this, "Buy once cry once." An old guy told me that, @D. B. Doober . Yesterday about 4P when you wondered about me I was watching golf.
yeah hawk! that thing looks about right!
What you said. Keep the screws tightened up and dump the ashes, @shithawk420 , and you'll get years out of that mini-kettle. I have an old Weber kettle that is on its wobbly last legs. The Weber folks are proud of their basic model so I'll cry when I buy, right @D. B. Doober
if he is from jax it might be good for both him and the jags
I think it will be good for Lawrence too. I wonder if Lawrence/Jones compatibility as teammates was considered. Jones will have a chance to clear the the bellychick out of his brain on the sidelines signalling plays.
so are you guys digging the time change?
No. I would prefer for the hands on the clock not to be moved forward or back. Pick one and go with it year 'round. I get up early and go to bed early. 4A is get up time and that started when I had a dog with seizures. 24 hour dosage of different seizure meds meant pills @ 4A, 12N, 8P. He was a good dog but sadly after years of trying to control them it was not working. Our vet came to the house to put him down.

Less than a month until the Eclipse.☀️
😎
