Well if I forgot, thank you DB, for protecting our country from all the dangerous drugs flowing into it from other countries. Thanks to the USCG my drugs are now 10x more expensive than they would otherwise be.
I hardly watch racing is it any good? No nba till thursday, i guess college basketball is still on tho.

I have been to several nascar races (not Daytona) and a couple trips to Indy 500. The super speedway nascar races at Homestead were boring. Most of the race takes place far away and then there's a rush as the pack goes by. Then it's a wait for the pack to come swooshing by again.
Bristol TN is a short track and the racing is up close and intense. It's a lot more fun and excitement because it's close and the entire track is visible.
I would recommend an Indy car race over nascar any day. The cars are much faster and cooler looking. The maneuvers the drivers can make in an Indy car are incredible. The track at Indy is not entirely visible from most of the seats, but there are plenty of seats that have views of the majority of the track. When I went our seats were at the exit of turn 2. We could see cars coming out of turn 1 through turn 2 and all the way down the straight and into turn 3.
My grandfather (Pappy) lived in Ormond Beach which is very close to Daytona Beach. When the race track first opened in 1959 we made a family trip to visit and Pappy loaded us up in his car and drove us out to the track. Coincidentally Pappy's birthday is tomorrow.
I was more into Bluegrass Festivals and concerts back in the day, @Bababooey . I appreciate the compliment.
Yeah Hawk, despite ur username it's probably time to get that drinking under control, it's causing more problems than it's helping. 2024 is a new year, try to get in better health this year cause ur not getting any younger.
6 miles a day is a heck of a lot, DB, so that's good ur getting in ur cardio, but the weight loss seems to have tapered off a bit? Maybe u need to add in some pushups and burpees and sit-ups and other body weight exercises so u can lean out further?
Sounds like good advice, never been to a race but they always seem like a good time, they're RV friendly too so if u have a camper/van/RV u can roll in for the weekend, have a good time and then roll out for the next one.
Im somewhat aware of the differences between indycar and nascar but u did a good job explaining it further. I followed F1 a bit last year when Verstappen was winning like 14 races in a row or something, won a bit of $ betting on that. Plus F1 had a race last year in vegas where they did a bunch of road work to have them race on the strip. It's an interesting sport for sure.
Now Fields is projected to be traded to the falcons, and has unfollowed the bears from his instagram. It will be interesting to see where he goes and how well he does there.

Yeah, the whole thing started cause of 'staring', someone felt a group of people were staring him down so he approached, words were exchanged and instead of an actual fist fight like it's supposed to be (still stupid to fight over staring) they pulled guns out and had a gunfight in the middle of a huge crowd. I wonder if the person that fired back could reasonably claim self defense. He's the guy that shot and killed that DJ tho so he might go down on reckless homicide or something like that even if his actions were somewhat 'justified'.
