If you guys throw some money in towards my muscle car I have no problem stopping at the wieners circle and picking you guys up
One day when I was working the entrance station to the state park, the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile pulled in. He did not have any free hot dogs so he did not get a free pass.
i guess tua can play in the cold a bit.
Only for a little bit as it turned out. P.S. Screw the NFL and Peacock.

@shithawk420 , the hot dog talk reminded me of my great aunt and uncle who lived in Lombard. We took a family vacation to visit one summer and Uncle Bob took me to see a White Sox game at Comiskey. They beat the Orioles but there were no home runs that evening. I really wanted to see the fireworks. He took us to Lockport and we had the best hot dogs I have ever tasted. Good memories of the Field Museum and Adler Planetarium. We did not go to the aquarium because that was no big deal. We had the Seaquarium and Flipper to see in Miami as kids.

I think was at wiener's circle once, it wasnt late at night so i didnt get cursed at.

It's been a while since i had a chicago dog, i like them but honestly just prefer ketchup mustard onions, maybe relish, pickles. The sport peppers tend to be too spicy also, i like spicy food but probably prefer my dogs to be not spicy.

That sounds like a good memory, Hawk. Grandpa sounded like a cool dude.

That credit card gun is giving every cop in america an excuse to violate ur rights cause they thought u had a gun.

Texans wipe the floor with the browns, joe flacco is no longer the elite dragon.

This miami-kc game is 10-7 chiefs, i guess tua can play in the cold a bit.
KETCUP!? you know you cant do that in Chicago right? You playing with fire. Sectertly i do kinda like ketchup but dont tell anyone. These guys are the shit. I wanna see them but id have to go to Decatur. You been to decatur baba? its a shit hole

Oh hell yeah. Loved the Field museum. yep know Lombard and Lockport. My dad keeps on saying he went to school with Mike Zimmer but he probably passed him in the hall at best. I got stories about those places and dirty cops but thats another time. Whats kinda funny is my dad Grew up on High Road. Rural place in Lockport. Well my dad sure does like to het high.

Speaking of wieners maybe DB should get a Wienermobile and drive around in his underwear. Y'know, for the IMPLICATION.
I used to like the regular old os-cuh mey-uh wee-nuhs but think they're trash now, pork and turkey? No thx, prefer the all beef dogs.
IMO, the tomato wedges on a chicago dog approximate the taste/flavor of ketchup anyway. I mean, it's made from tomatoes, right? Just sweeter and in a 'syrupy' form.

So you've been to the midwest too, Buzz? Youve been everywhere, havent 'cha? What about the west coast? You seem like a california type of guy, if u dont mind my saying so.

Yeah, after halftime the Fins couldnt get any offense going and chiefs just wore them down. I think miami was missing 7 of their 11 defensive starters? They averaged 32pts a game their first 14 games and like 10-12 pts a game their last 4 including playoffs. It ended with a whimper but it's still something to build on for next year, get more depth, hope for better health, and just finish the year strong.

Never been to decatur, looks like it's in central illinois, between springfield and champaign? Didnt the bears used to be in decatur, they were the decatur staleys?
Did u tell us these stories of dirty cops before? I had a friend who went to college in indiana, said he got a lb of cannabis taken from his trunk by a state patrol there, no charges so u know they took it and sold it or gave it to a friend.

We have packers at cowboys (i got packers and the under teased to 55.5) and rams at detroit (I got rams) today. Bills steelers was moved from today to tomorrow afternoon because theyre about to get hit with a blizzard. So twice as much football tmrw, should be fun.

is it just me, or are officials in ALL sports putting their fingers on the scales lately? NFL, college basketball, everywhere i look. there was a non-existent foul called in a hoops game yesterday with ONE HALF of a second on the clock, to put a 90 + % free throw shooter on the line and send game to overtime. and don't get me started on all of the flags for holding being thrown nowhere near the play, or "pass interference" that would NEVER have been called in years past. i'm fucking sick of the ticky-tack garbage! just a matter of time before bowling has officials there to declare a strike even if you left a 10 pin standing...

Packers D has been bad most of the season but were good the last 2 weeks, vs Minny and chicago. Thought maybe that was cause both teams had bad QBs but figured it was more due to the packers defense turning it around. Im not happy that packers QB looks pretty darn good.

Steak tips look real good, u cooked them medium or so? Is that cut of meat a tri-tip? Cant say i see that a lot around here.

There have been real questionable officiating calls in football and basketball for sure, Hippy. Both college and pros. Maybe with the spread of gambling apps more of these refs are on the take.

Dad worked for Southern Bell for many years and he accumulated a lot of vacation time and he loved to camp. The whole family packed into his homemade camper rigs. He converted my grandmother's VW van into a camper. He also had a VW Type 2 that he built a gabled storage compartment to fit into the bed of the "Cruck" which is the name given the VW car/truck combo.

My grandmother followed my Dad and the two VW vans made their way from Homestead FL to Phoenix AZ to visit relatives out there. Along the way we stopped at White Sands, Carlsbad Cavern, Grand Canyon, Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. Another camper conversion was a StepVan that he found somewhere. He rigged that up with enough beds to sleep the 5 kids and 2 parents comfortably. That camper took us to Indiana by way of the Smoky Mountains. On the ride back home we swung through Mississippi to see Vicksburg Battlefield.

When my wife and I officially retired the spirit of my Dad was upon us and we bought a truck and a camping trailer for a major trip. We left in early June and went up the east coast making stops to visit friends and family along the way. We took a left turn after seeing her aunt and cousin. St. Louis to see the Arch and Cahokia. On to the Badlands and the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument and we crossed Washington into Oregon and down the Pacific coast for a visit with more relatives. Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Crater Lake, Dinosaur National Monument were stops along the way. We spent just a little time in California to see some redwoods. 13 weeks and 11,000 miles later we came home.

I am not offended by California type of guy because everyone knows that's cool. ;)
I'm cooler though. I'm Florida Man.
LOL

How about those Lions!!?

That sirlion tip looks like a perfect piece of steak, what would u do with that Hawk? Make chunks like DB did or just sear the whole thing at once?
Do u have an air fryer, Hawk? So long as DB didnt cook them through seemed like it did a decent job on the tips.

I think jerry is using glory hole in the context of oil drilling, which is an underwater oil well? That's how he first became rich enough to buy the cowboys back in the 80s, as a wildcatter. I think he still has lots of investments in oil and gas.
There was talk that if Jer-ruh fires mccarthy that he would bring in belichick as replacement. That would be an odd couple, huh? But maybe then they would win a playoff game or two.

Haha, that's too cool, Buzz. Your family had a couple VW vans and camped and road tripped all over the country? Explains a lot why u still like nature and fishing and the outdoors so much, good for u. Too many people nowadays dont appreciate the Green (both the flower u smoke and nature itself). Rather just shut themselves indoors and stare at a screen. Kind of like what im doing now actually lol.
Your pops sounded like a very cool, very handy person. So those vans werent the 'official' VW westfalia camper vans? I guess other than the pop up roof, small sink/stove and bench seating with fold out table it wasnt any different than any other vanogan. Your dad's rigs sounded better for actual camping anyway, especially with a big family.

What'd u do with ur truck and camping trailer after ur 13wk retirement trip? Hopefully u had some more good trips with them or sold them for a decent amount.

The Vanagons came out years after Type II and the standard VW passenger van. My Dad was like you described. He pulled the seats out of Nana's van and it was on from there. The bed was in the back over the engine cover with drawers and storage underneath.

Neither of us was perfect by any means but we did well together in the long run. It has been over 21 years since he died. He wanted to meet with me to make funeral arrangements a few months before he died. Turned out to be 9/11/2001. I met him at lunch at his house and we had a tough afternoon. He passed away on 5/1/2002 shortly after I visited him.

He was a good Dad.

Storage over the engine? Loved those engines in the back of the vanogans, helped to get more power to the wheels out of little engines. But that sounds like it would keep ur stuff pretty warm. Guess it'd be nice to get warm clothes out of storage on a cold day.

That must have been a surreal day, meeting to talk about his funeral on 9/11. Did he think the world was getting to be a more terrible place? I guess living through 'nam, korea and maybe ww2 (?) he knows that terrible violence occurs on a distressingly regular basis.

Hey DB, when u going to post up a topless shot? Whatchoo think, Buzz, dem thangs are a large A or small B cup? Need more fresh fap material...

Got the divisional round next weekend boys, ill put a little $ on a parlay of all home teams' ML. I think for the last 20-30 years home teams in the divisional round win like 85+% of the time...
