Yeah, heard about mike zimmer’s son dying. Ur right, it was due to alcohol complications, could have been from drinking too much or trying to go cold turkey after becoming physically addicted. Sad. Have you ever drank so much that you thought you might die? A 30 pack of icehouse in one day might do it for me, lol.
U must have crazy physical tolerance if you can drink a 30 pack on top of smoking a half oz in one day. I had a friend who would puke if he drank and smoked too much, but it was more like a few bong hits and 7-8 drinks that would do it.
Ive heard good things about sous vide, it takes like a day or two to cook but it’s super tender and juicy when done. Let us know how it works out.
That is actually a nice looking plate, DB. Steak got a touch of pink in the middle, and who doesn’t love shoestring fries. I’d pay a decent amount of money for a plate like that in a restaurant. Do you use steak sauce or anything for the meat? Ketchup for the fries? Im all about the sauces, although a well seasoned steak doesn’t really need any.
And yeah, good job on staying alcohol free for 10 yrs. Is there anything that would make you quit cannabis? I guess it’s more medicinal for you, keeps your brain in working order?

Some special limited edition jordans will sell for thousands on the resale market. Crazy stuff.

Yeah I overcooked it a bit, could have gone maybe 4-5 mins less but I did an okay job. No A1...used ketchup I think. Or didn't use anything. I know the fries had juice all over them yum and they didn't get ketchup.

Yeah DB, when I heard steak cooked in an airfryer I thought WTH, but u made it look so good I might consider trying it myself lol. Plus shoestring fries in an airfryer are a great idea, much quicker to cook than thick crinkle cut fries or a cut up potato.

I agree with you, seems silly to pay that much for something you walk around in, wont they get worn out quick? Should be some interesting games this weekend for sure. Ur right about the bills offense, they gave up a fumble return for a TD to the Fins on a josh allen sack near their end zone, otherwise they would have won more comfortably. And this will be a rematch of their MNF game that was canceled because of the damar Hamlin heart attack. Everyone’s glad he seems ok now (although his playing future is up in the air) but that week 17 cancellation of prime fantasy players (allen, diggs, burrow, chase etc) really threw a lot of fantasy leagues into chaos.
Look at DB, man gets an air fryer and a week later he’s practically Gordon freaking Ramsay. Haha, gotta love it. Hawk is quite the cook and Pops also knows his way around the kitchen. Ill show you what I ‘made’ later, you’ll love it.
Didn’t know you like squid, DB, but I guess you like all things from the sea? I like fried and breaded calamari with a side of marinara but you have to be careful with squid/octopus, they get rubbery and too chewy if you overcook them. And pops, the lemon wedge over seafood (fish, calamari etc) adds that perfect citrus tang. Youre not a fan of the citrus? But I guess you don’t like seafood/fish in general?

Like pop said earlier, it doesn’t seem right that you can break some ribs and still be hurting a bit years and years later. Did that mean they didn’t heal right? Like theyre poking some organs/lung? I know ribs can heal by themselves but still. Also sometimes a rib injury can actually be cartilage damage in between the ribs, not the ribs themselves, but that should heal by itself as well. Maybe they need to take more calcium or glucosamine or something…
Here’s what I ‘cooked’ this past week: the McGangBang. It’s a double cheeseburger combined with a McChicken sandwich. I only used the top buns from each sandwich because otherwise it’s too much bread. Pretty, pretty good, although sometimes they put too much mayo on the mcchickens, it’s kind of disgusting, I like mayo but the dispenser gun they use to put it on is like made for a bigger sandwich or something…
