Dialing in Pump & Light Timers...

Dialing in Pump & Light Timers...

Flood 6X a day and 2X at night and check the ph 2x a day!

Currently my lights are on for 11hrs and off for 13hrs -

Is this how you would set your timers abiding by the above schedule?

11pm - lights on & pump on
1am - pump on
3am - pump on
5am - pump on
7am - pump on
9am - pump on
10am - lights off
2pm - pump on
7pm - pump on
11pm - lights on & pump on

Thanks in advance for your Clarification!

You want to flood for 15 minutes when you do and you will also want to do so less when they are small. The size depends on how often. I use buckets and when I first transplant them I flood ever 6 hours for 15 minutes and slowly move it to every 4 hours AFTER they get the roots in the pots and or buckets.

Good Luck

not sure what system your running, but it seems like it may be pumping to much....

im in flood and drain and flood 4 times during lights on, none with lights off....

with drip, you can drip more often, but with less amount and get outstanding results....

My timer is 15 minute intervals.
My res/table is 2gal 18" x 18".
I grow in rockwool 1.5" cubes and hydroton.

When it comes to water times it's what the plants needs. Enough but not too much. Too much water can cause root rot and a host of other problems.
I water like this. My lights come on at 11:00 pm and off at 11:00am
Flood times-
10:00 pm(1 hr before lights on)
1:00am
4:00am
7:00am
10:00am
1:00pm(1 hr after lights off)
I use a digital timer and flood for 7 minutes each flood period. This is for a 2'x4' flood table. Smaller tables would be less time. 4'x4' and larger would take longer times.
Now, that has worked for me for years in 1 gallon smart pots filled with a coco/perlite mix.
I use a 4 hour flood cycle when using 6" rockwool cubes.
You can water every 2 hours like your post suggested, just make sure it doesn't cause over watering issues and I wouldn't use a long flood time in the small tray you are using.

Looks good to me, just make sure the medium isn't staying too wet. Other than that, all good :D

You guys are so funny. :D

Essentially, if you're using Maxibloom... you're running Lucas. It's not about the 7g/gal... it's about the balance of the elements. Whether you're feeding light for a cfl grow or a light-feeding strain or heavy for intense HID... it's still the same ratio of elements.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that you need a full pH swing to allow the plants to aborb everything in that mix... otherwise you'll have 'deficiencies' show up when the plant can't absorb what's there.

Looking great Budelight! :D Grats!

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

Day 39 - Candi is Back!

Day 39 - Candi is Back!

*This update is for my better half. The one who makes it all happen. Thank you.*

Hey All,

Things are going good. Few issues, we got through them all -like im the boss. Seen This Video Yet?

Pump schedule is updated-> running frequently. The humidity: is now in range. The plants are streaching and pistils are reaching out for :xmastree:

My concern is that the buds are not swelling AND building in density like most expert-grower's buds do by this time. Any Tips?

Here are some photos to show you what i mean>>>>

Look at those lovely ladies :).....but i've heard that molasses can be used to help build the SiZe of your bud's....looks like they need a little more girth to their size but i'm sure theres still time before you flush/harvest your yield. Can anyone confirm or deny the molasses i referenced above?

Hey All,

Thanks for checking in to see how things are going.

I have got the plants realllllll healthy since the beginning of this thread with the help of some great new friends!

All the plants are about 50 days into flower, hoping that they continue to bulk up before they become ready to flush.

Just refilled my 2gal res.
Just 1 tsp-MaxiBloom and 2g-Monster Bloom is all the ladies are getting!!

Thanks northernfrost1 - I have heard that Black Strap Molasses can help but im nervous to try it since ive don't know how much to use or how often. would i need to change my nute amounts? will it cause bacteria/mold to form?

I also put a hydrometer/thermometer with a max/min so that i can track what the humidity is up to....

Anyways, if you have any tips/comments - im here all week :D
:thank you:

...on with the pics...

When to Flush??

When to Flush??

That is the question that we keep going back and forth trying to figure out.

People have told me to look at photos of plants when people are just starting to flush but I cannot find anyone doing it in cold cold enviroments like mine.

I removed a lot of the leaves on the top bigger buds to see what they looked like.

How many more weeks would you feed before flush?

I would start flushing around day 69 if your planning on taking her at 83 days if your taking her at 77 days I would start a flush at day 63

They look like they are almost done mabey they are a 10 weeks strain. Just start to flush with plain water and flush for atleast 10 days
