Greatings DOC im hokked on you style man, at first i was thinking of pots or maby a hydro set up but now ive decided to fix myself up with somthin like what youve got. i notice that that soil and nutriants you have are only destributed in eastern europe 'saw it on their web site' just wondering if i could get that dirt over in the americas, specifically the us. or could i just find any good soil and a lot of ferts and nutes? another thing is what kind of watter sestem is that i mean i see that you have a hose under that shit but what kind of resivore/pump. lastly how deep was your soil looks about a foot or so. soon as i have enough in my svings i will have a 1000w daystar ac, maby a 400w but ill have to see how much space im working with. t

Soil can be found anywhere and if your are a newbie then making your own is a waste of time... I believe they have FOX (brand name) in the USA, many use this brand.

Even though i sometimes use underground pipeing i still hand water, i like the exersize... Depending on how long you wanna vegg for will tell you how much soil you need... stay away from 1000 watt HPS/MH lights, 400 are great and 2X400 is really nice... these soil systems can be adpated anyway you want, full automatic or half... Let me know how many plants you gonna have and how much space also and i will make you up the specs for the soil box...

hey doc usually how deep are the boxes what demensions would you make a box if you only had 2feet width and 2 feet lenght how deep would you go???? i was thinking 2 feet deep ...

also how are the bottoms for drainage??? holes a screen what are the bottoms or underside of the boxes like???

High Swerve, the soil boxes are 10-15cm tall X 90cm wide with no drainage, the under side is pastic tarp (cheap) with duck tape, and some news paper on the bottom to protect my wooden floor...

2 foot deep might be over kill, but it all depends on how long you wanna vegg for...if its only flowering then the size/age/number of plants will help you determine the amount of soil...

Update... now 6 days from chop, its getting really funny watching the plants collaps due to the fucking huge buds


Also the young BubbleDust is comming along like they should, gladly the light burn didnt set them back to far, i think they will be on scheduale...


And we have a new additon to the family, 30 fresh Mummia clones they are at day 2 in flower, cloned and rooted in the flowering chamber(10 days to form roots), these are very fast @ 50 days flowering time... also planted some more seeds too, about 50 or so...

First off my comps. I just read your whole thread thru and thru. I hope I didn't miss this question. But thats why Im asking.
If you were in the U.S. doing that depending on the size of your grow. You'd have to probably call in a damn dumptruck for all that soil. You must make alot of trips to the soil factory...

Also maybe cause I again read to much and didn't comprehend. How often do you change out your soil after every grow? Every couple etc???

Other than that I'd say your doing one hell of a job... :friends:

i dunno bucket boy, soil wher im at comes in like 5 gallon, and 20 gallon baggs. and at the local hardwher store they have bages stacked 20 feet high. it would realy depend on how much you have to spend and how your transportating it. if you have a good cash count and a big trunk or a truck. then on etrip will do. id think its finding the right soil and the right liquid nutriants would be the key.

Ok i do see your point, when i get a big load i buy it by the Pallet... i just borrow a truck and a buddy and we hall it anywhere...

But i do reuse all my soil time and time again, adding in what ever i think is missing, i buy fresh soil less then once a year instead i make composts indoor and use lots of benifical bacteria...

it is not as mush soil as you think, its only 10-15cm deep...

god that is nice GROWDOC. love the pics and thread. i do have a question 4 you though. i have about 20 starts under florecents. can i grow them big enough under floros to sex them? and if i want to keep a mother plant can i take her out of my flowering and put her under the floros? and do i need co2 for the mother to stay alive in my veg box?. my clones are doing great in my system but i'm still alittle green on the whole starting from seed and sexing before i put them into the flowering box...and why you say stay away from the 1000whps? i do have a 400w still in the box....hmmm
