We really won't know until we learn how to properly test it. I wouldn't be surprised if most of these labs can't separate THC from THCP let alone give us specific numbers.
The isolation procedure they used is a typical one, formic acid and acetonitrile on a large ordinary RP silica column. If someone had half a percent of it before, they would have noticed. People have been noticing new cannabinoids for over 50 years and 0.1% levels should have been detected by now if it was not uncommon.
This THCP was around 0.0032% of that FM2. It had over 1000 times more THC.
