Sorry to hear about the mold GMT, the trimmed buds look full and tasty! I'm expecting some mold issues on my current grow, completely forgot that late fall is our most humid time of year, and of course I'll have a cab full of indicas! Glad you saved a cutting of this one, she looks sweet!

Hi MGJ, my own fault, I didn't like listening to the fan noise, so left it turned off most of the time. At least I caught it before it took too much off me. Yep, I have a clone of this girl, my smokey girl, and a cut from a tri boy. Gonna run this girl and smokey girl again, and try some seeds out.

Yeah she wasn't bad, I've been smoking early cuts of her for the last couple of weeks now too. All the bud spent 24 hours upside down on the trimmed stems, and then the stalks were removed to aid drying time. The buds are now in an open icecream tub. Not the best idea, but they get played with regulary, just getting air between them all.
Making sure the mold didn't spread to them before I took them. So far the early cuts are a very heavy smoke, some of the trichs had turned purple, about 70% were still clear when I finally took her.
I have a smokey girl approaching the ripening stage, and then one of her offspring a little later. Then its back to a cut of this girl again. I'll post a pic of the buds that are still left once they are properly dry.

Hi TH, yeah, I've been slacking in the chat recently, trying to get the sleeping pattern sorted. Once I get in that chat room, I tend to be in all night. As usual, I'm feeding my plants, water.

Hey Pack, yep true on all counts, just wished someone would have pointed that last comment out about 15 years ago though, could have taken advantage of that knowledge back then, hehe.

Ah MGJ, you say the nicest things. I've been feeling a little outclassed in the pic department recently, thought I'd try to put more effort into them. No No suitors have made themselves apparent yet. I need to see if this one of her daughters is worth breeding with. I dont think I'll use this plant though. The stretch has been relentless, wait until I post a pic of the whole plant, I had to bend her so much. I even killed off the clone of her I took. I will try the smoke, and if its nice, maybe I'll grow a few of her sisters out and find the cutest. It's been in flower now for 7 weeks, and looks like another month will be needed. Still, looks like she'll give me some decent buds. I just put another of the bruisednuts cuts into 12/12. Very small, but I want to see how a small clone does. I just got roots on a central cola cut from my tri male that I nuked back in the summer when I got mites and had to clone a few times to keep around. Next round of seeds, he will be used. It's finding girls worthy of him. So far I have smokey girl and this bruised nuts cut. I have already done smokey girl x another tri bruisedberry male, which is what that above pic is, but as I said the stretch is too much. The current tri male I have did seem shorter and stockier than the other one used. We'll have to see what I find in the seeds I grow. I'll just finish these off, then I'll start with the new show propper.

I thought I'd take some of smokey girl as I chopped her. The pics aren't as nice but the buds look nicer to me. I'm not all that good on smoke reports, the better they are, the less I can write.

Hi MGJ, I'll have a go at a smoke report for them both. Smoke reports are a pain for me as I never know what to say really. But here goes for a quick one. Both the bruised nuts girl, and smokey girl, are very heavy indica smokes. Both fairly similar tastes, sweet hashy ones, which makes sense as they have a lot of ancestors in common. The difference is in the effects and appearance of the bud. The pics show the diffs, so I'll explain the diff in effects. The Bruisednuts knocks me out. Really helps with the sleep. Just kind of gives you that sunbathing feeling. The Smokey girl, also takes the tension out of the body and the content out of the mind in a similar way to the bruised nuts, but unlike the bruisednuts, smokey girl can be smoked in the day. It'll still wipe your mind clean, and not recommended before any activity, but to chill with a game, or to watch tv on, its perfect. The smokey girl gives me a really settled feeling, almost instant contentment, whereas the Bruised nuts just knocks me out and I wake up some time later. With the Bruised Nuts, its like someone is turning up gravity as you get down the joint, starting off sitting upright, I end up virtually horizontal by the end. I love the smokey girl, she makes me warm and fuzzy, and I love the bruised nuts, as she makes me sleep. So there you have my chosen girls.

Well, The size of the pot has been part of the problem with this girl. I put her into a tub with her sister, and then cut her sister down because they were taking each others light I and didnt really have room for them both. So from about 2 weeks of flowering, she has had 30 litres of soil to herself. The Bruised nuts girl had 16 litres and the smokey girl was restricted this round with about 10-12 litres of soil. We all know the bigger the pot the bigger the yield, and that has proved true, as the offspring will be by far the heaviest yield, (I'm hoping). She is slow though, I think she has been flowering for about 8 weeks now, but looks to need another 2 or so.
Yep I'm stocked up, and working my way through my stock .
