Solar is a good thought!!!

Been thinking of doing a straight solar panal garden?
The idea struck me last fall, seen in a hardwere store paper
solar panals that put out 400 watts each for 200$ i believe(3 x 3 foot)
Now i have a perfect roof to set up a good 6 panals or more?

Has anyone thought of this yet, would there be a way the lights
with there ballasts can take this switching or low voltage probs?
DC power converted to AC must cost bucks though, and batteries?
ANy electro nutz got any thoughts its a good idea to be OFF the grid!!!!!

Oh in the other direction of solar mirrors, your best just placing them outdoors!

Indoor solar panal garden sounds teky cool to me,totally green growing
alright wheres the electric nutz tell us how maybe??????
ANd you wait folks they ARE comming out with better efficient panals!
With an efficiency of 40% absorbsion from the sun, much better than 20%?
But the wiring and all kinda freaks me a bit?

BATTERIES in rack after rack after rack. I have seen a number of residences in the high desert (Mojave) that used wind, solar and other passive measures. One thing in common were batteries, lots of them, and they were not running 1000W lamps either.

Buy a diesel generator.
