which do you think yielded more

Damn man, pretty girls. Sorry if it didn't carry through in my initial post, it was meant as Sarcasm. I personally much prefer the Sativa high. I have no real experience growing them though, just wrapping up my first random bagseed, unknown strain/genetics/origin grow. To tell the truth, I'm much more interested in Sativas than Indicas... regardless of yield weight. They suit my tastes more, in my admittedly limited experience.

In answer to your question, I can't really make a good guess. Hard to tell from the photos, but it'd be close if not in favor of the Sativa from what I can see. Can I have it? :puppydoge

Please don't draw any attention to TX... Shit, already too many oinkers around. Let's see, I love Indicas, and like Sativas--and everything in between. To rule out one really messes you up. I don't really know how one would get a "pure" strain, since all strains probably intermingled by nature or mans hand.

I mean, how do you know, without genetic testing, if something is pure? Guess we just do our best. But, like people... a recessive gene will show up sometime (If you haven't had blue eyes in your family since 1793, doesn't mean it won't show...it is there somewhere. Very hard to breed out genetics).

Peace from tx near the border.

this article seems like a recycled article from the past about a new up and coming smoke haven... yeah, the article wasnt very spot on. some of the buds looked good, but i've never heard of 85% of the stuff that was listed. even that shoreline don't look like shoreline, it looked like some commercial canadian work-weed

pretty disappointed
i have been noticing the same thing myself, like the last issue i saw the cover of was their growgear thing and thy are doing that whole tube thing again. ive got 5 yrs worth of HIGHTIMES magazines and some of the articles, especially the pictures look the exact same (from memory) as other pics in other issues.

i wanted to do a comparison one day to see if its true or not with the zines i have buti know for sure they covered that big hydro tube thing a couple times. they buzzed about, talked about it, then introduced it as the hot item for the "now". i know ive seen that thing b4, i knew i wasnt crazy!!! thats the main reason i stopped buying it on the reg.

is it me or does it even really matter. it seems a lot of those strains are purchased or something. i thought when they go to different areas they look at what's being done locally or originally out of texas. were these indoor crops or outdoors?

my issue with it, is what's so different or special if they're all shit someone could buy online and grow in a closet.

I'm just wondering, I have seen HighTimes in the past. Though I wonder what other options in magazines one would have if they were looking for the same theme HT uses, that being BUD, and related articles.

So if I'm looking for magazines, what other options do I have as far as mags go?

Last time I looked at HT I was a kid, and was attracted to the pictures, always wanted to order that fake bug they have. Though even as a little kid, I figured it was fake, how could they possibly sell something like that, and it be real? That's probably why I never looked at it again.

judt go to your local smoke shop and look around, they'll have dozens of mags. other than high times, i can't remember any of the other titles off the top of my head, but there are several.

exactly. thats what I was askin. Its like nobody has any regional pride for their strains anymore.

but yeah guys I've also noticed recycled pictures in HT. often with different titles.

but at least around here you have 3 options. cannabis culture, heads, and HT. and Heads is hardly a pot mag. its mostly about skaters and reggae singers and stuff.
