New High Times texas article?

I was just wondering if any of you guys saw the new high times texas article.

I have never really seen a weed mag do a southern ganja article before.

I was just wondering if it was any good. also if it was dealing with southern or texas strains like mexican sativas or if the texas harvest festival or whatever they were going there for just looked like the same old boring northern lights and diesels etc, or more interesting strains.

I wouldn't go to no bud bonanza without knowing anybody, especially in Texas. Heres a list of the strains they took:

grass monkey

afghan skink
stinky pinky
blue widow

I've only heard of few on that list.

Yeah, i read it too. I thought it was REALLY generic. The names of the strains were better sounding than the strains looked, imo. Almost as if like 6 of them were BARELY noticable different phenotypes. In fact several of the buds looked practically the same, however i didnt sample them, so i can't speak upon how truly diferent they were to the palette or stone. But if you look in the mag, several look almost exactly the same. I mean, i have had one plant produce very different looking/smelling/tasting buds because of several factors. ie:upper and lower buds that recieved different amounts of light, different harvest times as they mature, or nutrient depletion, etc.

this article seems like a recycled article from the past about a new up and coming smoke haven... yeah, the article wasnt very spot on. some of the buds looked good, but i've never heard of 85% of the stuff that was listed. even that shoreline don't look like shoreline, it looked like some commercial canadian work-weed

bottom line is...if your growing dank buds chances are you don't give a fuck about weak ass high times commercial ass magazine...and if you gotta brag to them about how good the dank is...it aint dank...step ya game up...

Hey man, why you bashing on high times. Its what got me growing back when I was 15. Some of they're articles are crap. But hey, thanks to them I learned how to get beans.

I am grwing dank buds. And I will always buy hightimes. Just cause I can.

those pics from 70s are of abusive og, which he did an awesome job on i might add. not only great buds, but great picture skills as well. flower time is around 9-10 weeks i believe on the abusive

That's 'cause EVERYONE knows that Indica gives more bud than Sativa. No matter where you grow it... therefor Indica > Sativa! DUH! At least it seems to me that too many people have that attitude.

But in that case, would they say that 'Sativas Suck', or that THEY don't like Sativas? Personally, even if the style of the high were not to my taste, I wouldn't necessarily say that the smoke was bad, just not for me.
