I say she's got alot of talent. it's obvious to me..... hey maybe not quite the force of talent as guys like this

but hey some old schoolers like me still have to actually create our own music by playing our instruments.We never learned how to push a button.

ive been drumming for 13 years now. theres nothing better then being able to do somthing you love.

FatBlunt are you in a band or more of a hobby? I drummed in High school, but gave it up soon after... My Mom and Step-father both play (thats how they meet, he was her drum teacher)
I was thinking I need to get a set and start up again, I miss it....

So I have been in a Bubble Hash stupor this weekend.... That stuff really lays you out, I have been so lazy this weekend lol....

im into all sorts of crazy metal, in high school i was in a death metal band. we did about 10 show. but it was still alot of fun. im not currently in a band, but i play everyday.
thats a great, how my parents met story... the power of music!!
is there like 2 drum sets in your parents basement?! haha.
take drums back up!! its a great use of time, and awesome exercise.

Bet theres a lot of musicians on here, im a classical pianist myself. Haven't played in over a year, cost too much to move a piano to each grow and keyboards just aren't the same. Last piece I performed in 2007 was Rachmoninoff Prelude in G# minor op.23 I love all music though. From Gwar to Dj Tiesto, Chopin to Mobb Deep. Bee Keeper, those are great pictures, keep on keeping on, but id have to disagree with your DJ picture. It's pretty difficult to be a DJ. If anything, I would say DJ's have more knowledge about sound waves and theory than most of us who play instruments.

Bee keep, funny shit man. I used to think like that about djs. but some of them are taking it beyond a higher level. Those who create all aspects of what they do. Maybe its not for ya. It aint always what i want to listen to but some of those beats and compositions they create are of other dimentions. Not everyone can play the guitar or the world would be boring. "An open mind is an open door to which life's most fulfilling notions can be found." So like.. are you just strumming on strings? Is FB just pounding on skins? I doubt you have just hit a few buttons and create something real. Are we talking about high school dj or real one?
Believe it or not i don't care as much as i make it seem, just playing devils advocate. Skill is skill in whatever shade of color it arrives in...BTW that kid Justin Bieber has been playing drums and guitar (decent for what it is), since he was 2 years old. If a two- six year old can play those instruments, does that take away from the totality of what it takes to create a master piece or something new? Nuff said

it was intended to be funny, I have a odd sense of humor.
I apriceate all kinds of music if a chord progression or a melody catchs me then I like it...I know some Dj's are really amazing at grafting together records or clips of songs, creating beats and honing the skills of their craft...but there are also lazy people who dont wanna do anything but get wasted be lazy and get worshiped, those are the ones the joke is intended for.

I don't really understand that at all, but hey different strokes for different folks!

I like how in the United States electronic and jam music scenes are sort of coming together. I grew up on phish and the dead, improvisational music is what got me into electronic music in the first place. Speaking of which, hey Amber! Guess what? I managed to miss 7 new deal shows I could've gone to in 2010! Not going to miss them in 2011, I swear it!!!

Will be seeing these guys soon, looking forward too it. I know there's gotta be a couple lotus fans on here...

This is honestly the first pack of raws I've bought in a long time, they aren't my first choice in general. I have noticed that they need to be rolled a tad tighter than others. They're alright, I much prefer rizlas and smoking blacks, though. Can't find the blacks anywhere anymore...
