New curse for Yankees?

There are two kinds of people in this world, those that are Yankee fans
and those that are not. Given the number of 3rd world and remote assed
villages where they haven't even seen a baseball game (but have likely seen
a Yankee cap) the number's tilted against them, we can deal with that.......
What a game tonight! 6 ~ 1 bottom of the 6th, Joba Chamberlain is on his
game tonight retiring 9 straight batters in the first 3 innings. Too bad Lester
had to take one to the knee tonight from a Melky Cabrera base hit.

In all fairness, I can't imagine why Eric Jeeter hasn't won the mvp. He seems to be a class act and excellent athlete.

tonight for a total of 7 RBIs, a three run homer first followed by a grand slam.......
the Twins and Tigers will be playing single game playoff on Tuesday in
the metrodome if the Twins keep their 9~4 lead alive for 3 more innings.

I was noticing the Sox/ Angels game. Boston took the wildcard in the AL, but you get the impression that heads will roll in Beantown if they do not advance past the first round
I find this funny from the team, that just 5 years ago, had not made it to the post season in what 100 years. I personally think they are far overrated. Without bay in their lineup, they would have never even got in
Although an LA BOS WS would add a nice side story to the year

Fuckin' Twins play some seriously bad baseball. Bonehead manager and players who have no idea how to perform under pressure.

I'll agree w/most of that but the officiating didn't hurt the Twins too much. The home plate umpire called a 'high & outside corner' strike zone on every left handed batter & the Yanks have plenty of lefty's.
OK, that shot by Mauer that was fair, go ahead put him @ 2nd base, but don't try to tell me that Kubel would have gotten the same sequence of pitches that he got w/Mauer on first. Not going to happen & so no guarantee of a base hit scoring Mauer, no way.
the Twins of course beat themselves, bases loaded, 0 outs, and scored nobody in the top of the 11th, sad, very sad. and to think I'm a Yankee fan now living in deep northern MN for over 20 yrs, my allegiance will never fade or falter, in good times or in bad, in sickness or in health, for richer or poorer I always have and always will love dem Yankees.......

you must've been talking about that 3rd strike swing he took w/the bases loaded. that was a bad swing for a very smart batter, they'd have walked in a run if he waited on that pitch.......
