I went up to Longmont yesterday to Centennial seeds, came home with some Rio Negro Colombian seeds.
Didn't know quite what to expect. I liked the owner right away. The thrust of his business is towards lab analytics but he's big on heirloom preservation & mostly dabbles in seeds, I think. It's just a storefront with a desk up front & lab in the back but he def knows his weed. I gave $80 for 14 very interesting seeds. They're the same very distinctive shape as Colombian seeds I remember from 40 years ago, a very promising thing. They'll also apparently finish outdoors here making them even more interesting.

Anybody have experience with his gear?
yhea, centennial is good shit, and it seems he is "back"... kinda went dark for a while.
we are currently growing a few dakini kush out.... very nice. squaty indica that frosts up HARD early. Def worth a try if you ever get a chance!
iirc his previous offerings were good but uninteresting to me (lots of BlueBerry Crosses and sativas). but you have to respect the guy, he does his own lab testing on his own equipment. most people running CBD hemp this year are doing clones of the Otto #2.
I lost several otto#2 seedlings in the raid (along with harlequin, R4 and several otehr CBD crosses), but since have re-aqcuired some otto #2 x scotts OGK seeds that are waiting in line to be popped (growing the sour tsunami x scotts ogk first)
when i first showed up in colorado i gave Ben a small vial of himalayan seeds that i collected on a recent trip thru ancient pilgrimage spots in high elevations (char dham).
