LOved the buds and BOG was good to me!!
He gave me a bunch of seeds,bogglegum an Sourbubble bx3!!
NOT shitting on Bog here at all but i found the plants to be
slow in flower and alot of variations in pheno's taste was GREAT in some
and so so in others?? but still LOTS of resin incrusting the baggies
they where in.........had 1 killer indoor plant that tasted GREAT!!!!
Will be workin on this or may just find a good mom one day!!!

i agree bog is the man he also sent me free sbbx3 seeds and others, he even sent me a little bit of his homegrown bluemoonrocks for my bday.. best shit i ever smoked to this day, smelled, look, tasted, smoked amazing ive never been so baked!! lost the overgrow smoke report but bog has a thread on it here..

i agree his strains do grow slower in flower sometimes but they're good veggers and the buds finish quickly and are always bomb!! i miss my sourbubblebx3

haha yea bog sent me beans and really taught me the best ways to grow... the bmr he grew himself and sent me was fucking amazing, my best smoke ever!!
...the sbbx3s he sent me grew great but since i was a beginner only one ever made flower, and she was a sexy outdoor little tree.. she was robbed days before harvest but theres still pics and threads on her in my profille. i had a clone from that plant and harvested a little from her but accidentally killed her after revegging and lost the genetics.. hopefully ill get sourbubble going again!!

nope, there isn't anybody sellin his gear, if they say they have it BEWARE.

thats the good thing about this project, soon it will be available to us all, don,t know the method SOUTHWIND will be using to get em out(seedbay) maybe, but thats something he's gonna have to decide on. i think he's got just about every strain BOG had to offer

Greetings all..

Have been very sick , the kidneys are trying to shut down on me..so have not been doing much except keeping the Project at a very basic level..keeping the Lifesavers and Bogglegums, LSD's and Sour Bubbles going.

Right now we have all 4 phenos of Lifesaver in flower.

The exceptional male is holding for now until I am better and many clones of it have been taken.

If I am in good enough shape I will do a small run of LIFESAVER seeds all 4 phenos

The LSD all 3 pheno females are in flower..the 3 males are alos on hold to do a small run of LSD seeds.

The Sour Bubble bx4 male is ready to flower and make SOUR BUBBLE seeds.

Depending on how I am and if I remain out of the hospital I will do the best I can to produce these seeds SOON.

Here is some finished SOUR BUBBLE and BOGGELGUM in the meantime.

Southwind - I sometimes find if I smoke a little of my best Sour Bubble, and soak in hot to warm water for at least 30 minutes, it sure takes my mind off the pain by the time I get out.

I wish I could give you a hand with your operation. You know I would dig that.

I know how hard it can be to tend to my garden when I'm not feeling well. I keep remembering the Law of the Farm. and how I wont get the desired results in anything I do, without a complete effort from start to finish. It somehow motivates me to hang in there. After all, there is no garden without a gardener.

i did talk to my doctor friend and he promises me he is looking into your sickness, he's just been real busy lately. he's been out of town alot, been teaching in the islands and trying to open a clinic in texas.

Being the BOG preservation project thread I thought it appropriate to pose my question here in regards to a BOG strain. By the way Southwind I think you are doing a great thing and hope to help where I can if needed. Anyway on to the question:

Back in Feb. of this year I picked up some of BOG's Lifestar BX1 from Seedbay. The description of the seeds were as follows:

"Incredible F1 hybrid created with Lifesaver crossed with Sensi Star. This represents the 1st Backcross. "

If I am to understand this correctly this would mean a female Lifesaver was pollinated by a male Sensi Star, seeds made creating F1 Hybrid, then the original female Lifesaver mother plant was pollinated by a select male from the Lifestar Hybrid seeds created representing the "first backcross"? If this is all correct then here is where I get confused. I grew 10 of the 12 seeds I received out and selected a fine male and female to represent the plant structure I liked the best. Tight, hard, frosty nug's on the girl and a very resinous male. I pollinated the selected female Lifestar with the select Lifestar male and made a handfull of seed. I started 20 seeds and have 12 up right now. What do I call the progeny of this strain now?
BOG Lifestar BX1 F1, Lifestar F2? ...? I don't know. So if all you good experts in this wonderful hobby of ours could help me out a little I would appreciate it very much. Sorry for the long winded post, but it is confusing to me.

This is my first run of BOG genetics, super pumped to say the least. I'm hoping that the F2's will contain the same traits of the original; short flower time and no/low odor.

Thanks for the reply RalphDog. I guess Lifestar doesn't garner much attention here. That's ok, I too didn't really believe all the hype of BOG's gear but I can say the pheno I have must be leaning towards the Lifesaver because after the second pull my lips go numb. Most of the other non-BOG strains I have tried are but a pimple on BOG's ass when it comes to all the hype. Good luck on your grow Ralph. I believe BOG has some info in the library about Life Star. I was under the impression that BOG selected a mother from the F1 generation and kept that for the BX population. I don't believe that he crossed life star back to life saver. I could be wrong, but i talked to BOG about this when he was still around. I don't have the PM anymore to verify this, but I believe I am correct on this.

Life star is some great indica smoke.
