I have 2 Original Thai Haze x SK1 in veg that are getting large now. I'll take a photo of them next time I break out the camera. I could fill an entire garden with cuttings from those 2, but I have too many plants working right now.

I am just about to germ 30 Sour Bubble seeds that were donated for testing from Grapevine Seeds. That will take me up to the limit of plants I can run at once.

It will take me 1/2 hour a day to move the plants in & out everyday. All 65 plants are still being vegged with the sun by day, and a 400 watt MH lamp at night. 22 plants will get transplanted in the next 2 weeks to 5 gallon pots. 40 seedlings will get transplanted to 2 gallon pots, and 30 fresh seedlings will be started this week.

The Sour Bubble testers and the Thai Haze, and Geisha plants will go into flower in about 3 weeks to make room at night for the next wave into veg. It will be busy for the next month or 2.

I am glad to see BOG is still in businessin Cali, cuz it gives me a chance to get orignal genetics again.

For those out side of Cali, the best chance of getting original genetics once again is to put as much pressure as possible on Gypsy and BOG to work out some kind of arrangement to carry his seeds once again.

I will send Gypsy and BOG a PM right now. Maybe those that want these genetics will do the same????

CF1 good to see the activism, Not to mention the plants. Thai haze looks good. I really think that if we are to preserve these seeds, Truly working together is the key. And i think if we are gonna progress these seeds to their potential it will take more than a year or two. All respect to Bog, But these are just strains that have probaly on this planet for thousands if not millions of years. We are just steping in and mulnipluating them to what we want them to do right. I look at it like the holy grail, It's probaly not atainable. But i still look for that new thing that is gonna blow me away like cheech in up and smoke. But Thats the fun right. My two cents......... Kinda kinda riiiiiiiipppppppped sorry about the rant . Stay up

Here are the Thai Haze plants growing along with the Sour Bubble. These are around 8 weeks old now, and I have really been holding these things back. I am going to find a nice Sour Bubble male to pollenate the lower branches.

These have not been fed yet, and they will get their first taste of nutrients today. They are both confirmed females.

Here is one of the Sour Bubble testers I really have my eye on to further breed with. Male or female, this one has a nice plant structure, and reeks of Sour Bubble. Several other candidates also, so I am plesed so far with the latest testers.

Hey Care Free,

Love your recent work w/ Bogs gear. I am a big fan of his SBbx3 and I am currently making some LifeSaver f3's to preserve the genetics. I just wanted to point out, that if you re-read BOG's reply to the Bubba Kush question, you will see that he is only classifying Sour Bubble as a "Bubba Kush" type strain, but states that he made his SB directly from a pure Bubblegum strain (if you believe what is being said). I have not grown out any pure Bubblegum or Bubba Kush yet, but do see similarities in the growth structure of my SBbx3 and many Bubba pics online, as others have I'm sure. Either way...SB is a bomb ass strain! Glad to see BOG is doing his thing real big in Cali, but for the rest of the world, I will be releasing some LifeSaver f3's to the Bay when they are ready!

I agree with you. My initial goals are to ensure Sour Bubble will be around, even if BOG no longer is able to distibute them. But thats where the work just starts.

I cant express all my thoughts right now, but I can tell you that original Sour Bubble in combination with the incrosses I have working right now will go along way towards keeping quality as high as possible under the circumstances. I think customer satisfaction will be high based on initial feedback from testers so far.

I read what I see and I draw my conclusions. Sorry it dosn't meet with your approval.

BOG catagorizes them as the same plant. I would say that you would need to prove that Bubba Kush is not Bubblegum, or a bubble hybrid. I read what the breeder says. Each of us is capable of forming our own conclusions. I'm not affraid to speak my mind, and having grown 1000's of Bubblegum plants, thats my opinion.

I've grown both. How much actual Bubblegum have you grown???

Found this in the Strain Lineage from back in '05. There is so much in common between Bubblegum and Bubba, it's hard to miss it. I know how Kush threads usualy end up, and this has been debated for a long time, so I dont care to get into it anymore than whats already been said.

I just about bet that bog misprinted that quote anyway. I believe that he meant to say "what do you think BUBBAKUSH is anyway?" But instead he typed "bubblegum".

I think you, as well as quite a few others, have made quite a leap with what you believe from his post, carefree. I can just about guarantee you that neither bubbakush or sour bubble is simply a pheno of a pure bubblegum.

How many freak elites are simply pheno expressions of an IBL? Think about that. And bubblegum is indeed an IBL.

You guys got to know that I respect your opinions, and it's all right to have a difference of opinion. Many things are learned when both sides are analysed.

I think it's a stretch to say that BOG "miss-quoted" that statement, and I think it's clear, IMO, that BOG claims Sour Bub to be pure Bubblegum, and that it and Bubba fall into the same catagory, which I happen to agree with.

How much do we know about White Label Bubblegum???? I've only grown one pack.

It's a shame I dont know how to do genetic testing.

All plants were fed for the first time today, and we are expecting good sunlight for the next week. I might have to transplant sooner than expected due to rapid growth.
