New Arrivals From the Master.

New Arrivals From the Master.

Greetings:

We now have what we needed some EARLIER Lifesaver's and of course,
SOUR BUBBLE BX4.

The BX4 is of course, from BOG, himself, through channels.

Along with the Green Buddha to keep then safe it is a gift of rare quality.

Elephant/Chocolate Thai from Thailand, fifteen year old seeds.
You are always asking about this one so..this is six feet tall, well, a bit over six maybe seven, and I topeed it by 1 foot to that height and it has been treated with bushmaster also , normally these will get a bit too big for me, 12-16 feet.

that base is about 3 1/2 inches thick.

Hey....

I've been doing a bit of looking around to get more info on BOG's work, background on the strains and such, and I found a great thread with an interview with BOG where he discusses some of his creations. There is also a nice 7 page discussion from posters who have grown his stuff (real great information) that follows the interview. If anyone is in the same boat as me, and still has much to learn about BOG's strains, check out this link:

http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=60256&page=1&pp=15

I'm guessing most people on this thread are already well informed about BOG...but just in case another green newb stumbles in...

Memory..

Memory..

Thanks for doing this HAL, it actually helps me quite a bit in locating alot of BOG information, although I have Bookmarked over 33 pages for myself in the LIbrary.

This is one of the places that BOG mentions PUBLICLY that a 'Kush' of some type was used.

There is alot of speculation about it. Everyone has a theory which kush it was.Which ANYTHING it was.

I am not sure we have ever seen the Kush or Afghan that was used in the Bubblegum X Kush cross that BOG says is where BOGBUBBLE and SOURBUBBLE came from.

BOG himself , if in this interview he is being completely and totally forth coming, which he has every right NOT to be, may never have seen what his original BUBBLEGUM seeds were crossed with .

Because he got those clones and seeds from someone else.

And THEN started his work.

One of the first strains I remember BOG running was Masterkush. That was back in the day, even before his "white label" bubblegum. But who really knows. I know all the sour bubs remind me of bubba kush. here are some sour bub f2 Arnold was male and Bertha was female.

Here is a cross i made using sour bubble pollen.

Well at least your getting a nicely paved road. Or it should be when they finish. Wicked conveyer machine huh. Here are a couple more looks at the sour bub f2. The smoke was mello on the lungs yet lethal to the brain. Sadly still havn't found *the keeper* yet.

Really..?

Really..?

I dont know about anybody else..but it ALMOST looks like that one is a keeper.

But I know what you mean, when I firtt started shmokin..like 30 years ago..well..I would probably not think much of what I thought was 'killer weed'
then..now.

I guess the bar keeps being raised in that way.

Its like opiate drugs in a way..when I first started getting kidney stones it took a lot less pain killer to help me..but it takes a lot more now.

But I get stones sometimes several times a month.

Its a rare condition.

Lucky me.

So I have to take pain killers alot. I wish I had the old level of tolerance.

Those things can 'zonk' you out.

Now Chiliberkster tell me what IS a keeper for you?

[should I dare ask?]

If he responds this is going to be something worth seeing.

I had some pain in my lower gut about a year ago. Went to webmd.com to see what it might be, one possibility was a kidney stone. I did some research on the little fuckers, 'bout had a panic attack right on the spot! I was worried as all get out for the next week, the pain eventually went away, but I still remember the descriptions of passing a kidney stone. Seems like it might be worse than giving birth, when the relative sizes of the tunnel and stone/kid are considered.

And you have these repeatedly? :frown: :badday:

Sympathies....just doesn't cut it. You must be a warrior.

SW,
I'm sorry to hear about your kidney stones. I knew you had health problems, but multiple times a month, man that is a nightmare. Glad the meds work for you. I hope the cannabis does as well. Hang in there!
On a lighter note, that pic of the road equipment monster is f'ing hilarious :biglaugh: Well done! I love the plant pics (both legal and otherwise) and the info that is provided as this thread continues......awesome stuff!

Yes it is painful...if you would like to avoid them [which I recommend] DRINK LOTS OF WATER.

This post is gonna be somewhat off topic as far as the thread title goes...But you asked for my opinion on whats a keeper so here it is.
Looks are nice and all and a requirement for bag appeal, also a keeper requires a decent yield. Like if I start a plant at 10 inches in 12/12, I kinda like it to at least double or triple in size. A good strong hybrid will absolutely have to be something to talk about yanno?...It needs to be a fast vegging, easy to clone, mostly pest resistant and all around hardy individual. It needs to be full of flavor and preferably a flavor that I and others enjoy. It needs to be very potent or at least have something interesting about the high. I like them to have a certain density, I don't dig the airy/fluffy stuff much. But it doesn't need to be so dense it gets mold easily like urkle does. I'm a picky bitch SW and it may have been a keeper in some gardens. But I find the SB males make some strong offspring. The females of SB so far have been all leaf and of smaller type buds. At least compared to what I'm use to. So my way of preserving some bog genes may best be in a hybrid? lol jk i do have some big fat lifesaver seeds i should pop. If I find a good batch of males and females maybe let em rip for a seedbatch. Ya never know..
Latest testing has been with sour bubble male x blueberry. I found a good representative male in that cross and backcrossed to the blueberry. Also onto some other clones. Bubba kush in particular. One of the resulting seeds made a wicked hybrid still beign tested. Just now flowering outside and looking large and in charge. Stinks like a skunk sprayed all over the area if you get close to it. Real pretty and seems to have alot of hybrid vigor like I wanted to see.
Calling it bubbabubble. Katsu's bubbakush x Bluebubble male(blueberry x sour bubble male).
