NEW.BOG Preservation Project.

I have just about wore the hinges out of my refridge looking for the Sour Bubble. Even looking in other jars to see if I mixed any Sour Bubble with other strains. Its a low yeilder when your running less than 1k lighting. Cloning the side branches is not to bad, but those main stems are thick.

You got to love the Bogglegum, but the potency is superior in the Sour B. There is a special pheno in Bogglegum, if found, will rock your world, almost sour, and really tasty.

I would hope to meet BOG someday, party with him and thank him for many good years of growing. He bred the perfect indoor plants for my operation, and gave us what we wanted, Bubblegummy goodness.

He took the time once to give me grow advice on these Bogglegum, and I wasnt dissapointed.

As for Sour Bubble, I think you guys know I am somewhat addicted to that strain.

Get well Southwind!!!

Jealous? BOG is out of the business and has more fans than most active breeders do. What an incredible legacy he left. And one thing about BOG that endeared him to everybody was the time he took to answer every question, no matter how stupid, and the fact that he treated everybody with honor and respect. I don't recall ever seeing a post dissing the man. I can't wait for his return, or his son's.

BOG's work does live on.

Southwind
Hope to hear from you soon.

This years crop is coming along nicely and I hope to create and distribute some seeds from some of these females. I am about to send them into flower and have found 7 females so far, but no males yet. Sour Bubble, Grape Punch, and Sweet Cindy 99. I am sure to find a couple males to work with, so looking good so far based on thier appearance. They look classic.

here is something BOG posted over at another site:

My friends it has taken me a long time to come with a name for my new viper, and after growing out many seed plants my new creation has exceeded all my expectations. Here she is:

Chocolate Bubba

My creation of gifts! A very special medical Bubba Kush crossed with a very strong Chocolate Diesel male gifted from Plan B. Beware she's very tasty, but don't let her flavour fool you for her bite is extremely potent. One my favorites! There will be some variation but i wanted to keep the genetics intact as all pheno's a power houses. She won't disappoint! Flowering 56-70days (indica pheno-sativa pheno)

Bog is way cool, A couple years ago he gifted me some sour bubble bx2 beans to test. I found a wicked male and named him arnold. He pollinated alot of girls. But here is a couple plants of his making. First one is the blueberry x arnold. Also Dwarf cush X arnold. Both mother plants were different in every way. Looks , smell, taste, high.. ect.. A testament to the strength of arnold is in his kids. They both look like his to me. Bluebubble

Dwarf bubble

I recently cracked a couple more seeds. One is a sour bubble bx2. (on right) and also a Powerhouse (berkely x arnold) on left

Last is a look at both veggers. Bog genes will live on.

Just wonderin what Bog is up to by bxing these. We all have our "Well I imagine" but I just wonder if anyone has heard from the horse's mouth so to speak. (No Disrespect)

Since we have so many Sour Bubble lovers here can anyone of you tell me why I am having such a problem with my Sour Bubble getting mildew....I have 3 different strains going in the room and the only one getting the mildew is the Sour Bubble....I can't seem to find any moisture in the room to be causing this and I keep a fan going in the room

In a way this little male plant is gonna help preserve some bog genetics. He is a product of a male sour bubblebx2(arnold) and digi berry (clone only blueberry)So far he is looking very nice and he stanks of skunk and smells like the strong twang when the stems are rubbed. Hollow stems, strong and resembles his father but has carried some of his mothers photogenicness. I'll attempt to collect alot of pollen and sprinkle on some clone only's to preserve those genetics and pass out some free seeds. Check out the little stud. Bluebubble to be exact.

Hello all,

Been a little while since i posted on this thread, and it sucks that Southwind hasnt been around lately. Best wishes to him and his family.

Here's an update of the lifesaver preservation that I started a few months back. The first harvest of lifesaver turned out to be superb smoke; rock hard buds, bluberry/fuel smell, and super narcotic high. Medical grade marijuana for sure. Didnt have a decent camera at the time to take dried bud shots, but thats not a problem anymore. Plants cloned very easily in just plain water sitting in a window seal for a few weeks.

Heres a few pics of the next run. 3 clones flowering under 600 watts of hps in a small closet.

And a couple of weeks later...

The results from the first harvest.... Plenty of F2's to work with, as well as a small amount of pollen that I was able to save from the original father. I tried to clone him as well but ended up being unsuccessful.

Gonna be moving soon to a location where I will have tons of space to hopefully make more seeds. Hope to send some in to the Bay to be given out as freebies by late spring/early summer.
