New 6 plant Gettotree setup.

Thanks gettogro.

So far the wifi have proven to be successful for me too.
Ive been working with a cut of wifi & so far have grown her out once which gave me 1lb one plant.

At this moment in time im questioning the feeding, I only use base nutes with PK boosters.

What do you use in your feeding regime?

I find it surprising that those ingredients did that to your plants just from residue left in the system. Those are the same active ingredients in Physan 20. There are people running that at 1ml per 10 gallons in RDWC and dipping clones in 1ml per gal solutions.

Also, Ill say it again. This method of growing is by far, not the most efficient. I am in a med state and my plant count is important to me. 6 plants at 14kw that can pull 15-18 lbs makes me happy. If you want to hit the big numbers, Jackmayoffer has it dialed in for sure. I, however couldnt sleep at night knowing that I have 1000 plants. He is truly playing with fire son. On the other hand, out of all the growers I have met in my county, It seems I am the only one following the plant count rules.. With my record and luck with the law, I think Ill stick with what is working for me.
I want to try a bed like Jackmayoffer at my remote site. Are the details on his setup in the Aptus thread? Don't have time to wade through 110 pages...
I remember seeing his build/set up linked in anther thread, just can't remember which one.

Interesting, I think it might have something to do with the ultrasonic foggers. I know that when I added the essick stuff to the fogger res, a few days later they were sick, and the plants show the same symptoms this time. maybe spraying the plants with a sprayer doesn't have the same effect as fogging them. I would like to get to the bottom of this. Ill have some extra clones to play with in a couple weeks, maybe I can experiment with fogging them with some Mr. clean see the effects..

Very, very smart. No matter what they said during the Reagan years, greed is *not* good, particularly not under the circumstances.

Some of us have the ability to have State legal grows, and staying that way will go a long ways towards maintaining one's freedom.

I know a gal who's a Colorado grower/caregiver, registered & so forth. Inspectors stopped by unannounced a couple of weeks ago, checked out her operation, complimented her good work, left to file their report. For pot growers dealing with the authorities, that scenario can't be beat.

I had some of that essick stuff I think what you're talking about that came with my humidifier. Supposed to be antibacterial. It smelled so weird I treated it like it was radioactive and disposed of it. I don't even think I dumped it down the drain as I have a septic system.

I just use RO water with <20 ppm and figure that's clean enough as no microbes have anything to feed on in there. Keeps the evap pad cleaner too, has been fine for years.

Interested to know the results of this. I use an atomizer (basically a fogger) to spray pesticides etc on my plants without any issues. Makes me wonder if spray vs fog is specific to certain chemicals.

Not to nit-pick... but the droplet microns coming out of the atomizer are much larger than a fogger. You can apply pesticides and even foliar feeds with fog... The atomizer is much more powerful, and blows the plants all over, as you already know.

great thread, appreciate all the hard work you share with the rest of us. I noticed a few grows ago you were using the brute trash cans (not sure the size) and now you are using the totes. Any reason for the switch? I am looking to upgrade out of a 13 gallon UC into some bigger containers. Thanks

I like it when you nit pick bro . I was under the impression the difference in droplet size would be minimal. Always more research to be done :tiphat:

Hey Ghetto,
Now that it appears you're .. back? .. How do you like that pondmaster air pump, and which model is it? AP100?

Also, why aren't your bare bulbs exploding from the mist../water hanging in the air like thick smoke? (Here I am worried about cooling a light in a cooltube with air from outside cause I'm worried about moisture. Geez)

Sup Ghetto, Whats new brotha?

First hiccup in the system, had one plant SID on me, no rhyme or reason to it, healthy root system, no bugs, lifted the lid to the tote, water level was a few inches into the net pot, im declaring stem rot, will find out today when i cut her down..

Happen to you by chance?

Ph keeps dropping like crazy, ill go from a 6.1 to a 5.4 in a few days

Aqua flakes + big bud, 400 ppms and still alittle sign of too much N.

-----

Anyways, loving the growth anyhow, replaced one more room with it, cant wait to get them grams!

The room with the one dead plant, is still by far, the best room ive produced thus far...i Bet you even with the one down, it will be the best yield.

:thank you:

Edit: Ive got a thread in the infirmary on some clones in the UC, if you dont mind poppin in and givin your 2c.. Struggling with vegging in the UC, Prolly just stick with a ebb and grow for veg.. Still would like some answers on why i cant get these clones in the UC to take off..

Edit#2: If i grab your attention, mind elaborating on your Air lines? Are you just Charging a 1/2 pvc line? Ive ran over 500 ft of Tubing, Please, save me!, lol!

Just an update, i cut open the stalk of the dead tree, and glad to see( for learning purposes! ) the middle of the stalk turning black/brown, and my Root cube seems to have dug itself about half way into the netpot, and i sure as hell dont plant my clones that deep, lol!

So i lowered the water level overall, and noticed all my bucket lids are damn near cavin in!, haha awesome!

So yea, glad to sum it up to Stem rot, water level to high in the UC mixed with the cube being in the middle of the mesh pot...Dead plant over a 4-6 day period..

This was the runt of the batch aswell, i always wondered why this plant seem'd to not be as butch as the rest =P

I think your 2nd quote above answered your question about clones too, IOW watch the water! Rockwool, Rapid Rooters, Root Riots, Root cubes, etc... like to hold onto water a lot longer than the lava rocks or hydroton. When those cubes get soaked your roots are starved of oxygen. Give your clones the right amount of water and little nutes that they might need and you should have most of any problems licked.

They might just need a once or twice daily pump mist/spray the 1st week or 2, that helps prevent overwatering too. That's what I do, and when I'm running a top feed auto watering system, make sure water's not drenching your cubes. Having a water ring or Hydrohalo helps water around the middle part w/o drenching your root cube. As long as it don't sink like yours did and stays near the top.

Just my 2 cents, hope it helps... That does seem odd your root cube dug itself into the netpot.
