Quick update : on the diagram i don't have the co2 info or about the lighting.
with co2 i will be using a tank with a regulator/selenoid valve, with no monitor. This is some info i got from a co2 calcullator :

CFH: 1
12x4x5tall
Co2 : 800ppm
Grow room area: 240 cubic feet
Amount of CO2 required: 0.192 cubic feet
On time: 11.52 minutes

At this flow rate:
If you are using a 20 pound CO2 bottle with a regulator, it will last 174.8 hours.
If you have a CO2 Generator a 5 gallon propane tank will last 540 hours.

i was thinking that i could have the co2 come on 3-4 times during lights on, 10mins after lights on and 1 hour before lights off. if anyone has any input on how fast plants use up the co2 that would be great( but i bet it has alot to do with the amount of lighting/nutes/environment ).

and the lighting update is that i might be only using 2 x 1000w balasts to power the 4 lights but only have 2 lights on for 6 hours, then flip to the other ones. just built a 2 light flip switch. now i'm thinking this could cut down on my heat and power usage but cover the same amount of area .. again i'd really like some input on what you guys think about this!!!!
btw - i finally took the time to check on my moms that yielded me 40 healthy new clones that i hope to see roots on in less then 2 weeks.. ( i'm hopeing faster , but whats the rush) :D
i'll have more updates soon.

looks nice. the only thing i would think could be a problem is that the 1000watter on the bottom of the pic, its wire from the ballast has to travel a pretty long distance because the ballasts are so far away, other than that, which probably isn't even an issue, it looks great

i think it would be better for you to run 2 seperate banks for your lights. it will help with bulb lifespan and cooling. the air gets heated up being pulled across the bulbs and by the time it reaches the last lamp it is as hot a fook :yoinks:

if you had 2 seperate banks you could still use 1 fan to cool your bulbs but they would be easier to cool and last longer.

i got a question about the amount of plants being used. what height are they going to be flowered at?

good luck with your project

irishsoco - thnx for your input but i think your right the cord length shouldn't be a problem.

~shhh~ - in know what you mean, but with the cold temps i'm expecting to actually have to turn the fan off for a while just to make sure i don't get it to cold in there since i'm using co2!!! ... well the diagram shows 25 plants in flower giving them foot and half for each plant, so i was thinking 7-12 day veg then flower. the height i'm going to want to keep under 2 half feet because i hate trimming popcorn buds. but then again with 80+wsqf i don't think i should have to worry about popcorn buds that much. co2 i'm going to run at around 800(first 2-3 weeks of flower)-1000(midflower)ppm, i figure they really don't need 1500ppm if the room is sealed.
but back to the amount of plants in flower- right now i have 40 clones 4 days in the cloning dome so if they all root i'm actually thinking about a very short veg and then flower. ( max 2 days veg OR how ever long it takes for them to take off)
more info to come as the room comes to a finish.
I also have someone that is building me a A/C/heat exchanger that is going to work awsome and will blow some people away when they see it!! i'm so pupmed about thiS!!
