Born Loser, I run a basic Lucas formula with the powder koolbloom cut back to about 1/3.I use loads of cal-mag too, esp GH brand.I switched brands on a good friends advice and I could see the difference.I start my RO water with 285ppm's of cal-mag and use that water for my base.Then1.25 tsp/gal(cal-mag) when I start mixing.I'm using coco so it may be irrelevant if you're in soil.
I wish I had pics from yesterday when I was tying colas up...again.I'm still only at day 60 of 12/12 but the room is putting quite a load on.Right now there's only room for me to stand in the middle of the 8' circle(I have to crawl in through a hole I cut) , with a cooltube burning my ass the whole time. The whole circle is 1-2ft over my head with colas.I'll have a go at a picture this morning at lights on.Between running big seed plants and using the vert donut style I have buds I never could have grown horizontal style.The Nevils haze platform really put the BANG in this sour stock.The sour plants are so sour now I'm super stoked.
Hopefully the day will come when I can run these with unlimited ceiling and light.When SW Texas goes legal, whatchout I'm moving in!I'm not retiring to the cold!
Thanks Slip. Im running a 6/9 GH, and the NEVs cant get enough. 50/50 coco/coco chunks. I have some plants pushing 7' ( the tallest nev is pushing 6'). The Nevs cant get enough nutes!! I run a tsp epsoms, and sometimes calmagic. I should try more calmag, one seems to like to get limey tops with a 'twist of leaf--but its under control. Gonna hit em w/ some MOAB tonight. I only have 1 donut now, w/ a 1000watter. I really should add another stacked light...
Oh yea, rainwater. Every time I start to run out, we get a rain to fill up the barrels.
You guys are making me drool with the descriptions!! Im getting some crazy smells for sure!! Its def. the Nevs cuz the purp has no real smell yet, and the other 2 strains are slightly skunky..

Yes I expect Texas to be legal when I'm about 175.This is a Sour BX plant I really like. The flowers have a perfect shape and deep sour smell.

I'm flushing them for another week then I'll cut.Like you said before she can be taken at 60 something and the way she looks now, I'd agree but I figured on 70 and a little flush never hurt.I have a mom Sour BX very similar to that, maybe better smelling. Clones easily too.This is another one, I've had trouble keeping her up.The pic could be better but you can see the cola in front fairly well. The beast from the east....

Yeah, the top is up there in the back.The size of these took the garden and I by surprise.Best part is buds from ceiling to floor.This is when you can almost calculate how many oz's grow in a day.20 days to go, I'm guessing.

Awesome feeling huh? One of my "complaints" about cannabis is that I often have to use it every few hours or so to maintain. It's really great when you have some medicine that lasts a few hours or more.
The cocaine is a Lucifer OG of some sort, no??

I have found. REALLY nice male from the bx ..I mean it looked just the clone with the broad 5 finger leaves ..I was gonna flower it out but ran outta time and space :/ ..those bxs get HUGE even in small pots ..
Also I see a duct blower in the back how well does it work ..I have inline fans but besides being noisy and having to turn them down + the weight I always wanted to try a duct blowers..sometimes I see them cheap but always was hesitant

Frank -- the cocaine is a Lucifer f2, melty made them and slip grew a slew out and kept the "frisco" (sfv leaner) and the "cocaine/magnum" which is like pure pure greasy stinky roadkill & rubber sneakers! its got that sharp stank like a skunk just sprayed and then you get all those rubbery/sneakery OG bits that come thru. crazy frosty & yields great. i miss her ;-(

The Sour in the Sour Nevils is ECSD, the one I run.The BX is that Sour Nevils X ECSD.They do grow big as well as yield big.They love the vert setups, some colas are 2ft tall and they're near the bottom...The duct blower works well sucking the heat from the bare lamp I have hanging 4" from the wall.I flattened out a reflector and nailed it to the wall then the blower sucks any extra heat from the bulb out of this room and into another where I have 2 giant SFV clones in flower.
That room is 3x3 with a horizontal cooltube on the roof and a 6" booster fan with a 4" blower at the end shooting all the heat into my scrubbers up in the attic.I had to add the extra 4" blower to make up for the heat coming in.So far so good. It's my 1st run with the SFV so I'm being carefull.

Hey Kid, here are some links to the posts I have made lately:
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Just harvested the 4 CM females I had in the garden. They are the best plants in the garden. The smells are fantastic! So is the trichome production, the plants literally glistened in the sun. I had 1 tall and 3 short plants. Number 3 was the best for density and smell. Number 4 has the best smell but not as dense as I would like. 2 was close to 3 in size and density. 1 was completely different, if given a chance to get big would have been a monster. Very happy with all of them. The mother plants were put in the tent after harvest to reveg.
I also harvested the Mendocino Purple monster I had. She finished early and was really purple and smelled heavenly. Hopefully it will be a good smoke too, we shall see. I have had some thieves lately and have been taking extra precautions. Came twice, first time got 3 out of 4 of my Shit/Haze creation. Second time he came for the big plants. Greedy bastard! I caught him in the act. I scared the shit out of him! He was too quick, over 2 fences like a pro indeed. Not his first rodeo. If he tried to hop over again he'll be crippled. Very scary though, probably my last grow in this neighborhood. Way too rough here.
Also harvested the Nordle I had. Smelled and looked awesome but not as good as CM. It is more subtle for sure and looks to be Kush rather than Afghan IMO. She was much more ready than the CM but then she is 2 years old and the CMs were seeds mothers. Both Skunk/Indicas were a little early but with rippers I have to cut sooner than later. That thief mutilated 2 of the 4 plants he tried to steal night before last. It's a shame as I wanted to try Blue Dream but she couldn't be saved, same with the Chem 91. I have them chopped up and drying for hash even though they are immature. Saved the Ortega and glad for that. [/FONT]

For me, and you guys might find it different as each grower is unique, organic grown in soil produces awesome buds. It was an outdoor grow and it glistened in the sun with trichomes. When cutting off the branch it smelled musty and like a forest. It is green and uncured/unjarred yet. It tasted green but past that it had an unusual chemical taste to it. It wasn't offensive like some, it was quite pleasant. One hit or CM#4 is all and the effect was immediate. Very nice body effect, took my pain away and the tightness in my back is gone. Very heady as well but may be due in part to being picked early. The after effect leaves you calm and relaxed. No paranoia with it but I do want to go to sleep. Not good for getting things done. Feel peaceful though. Tried the Mendo Purp last night and it wasn't nearly as effective but it did taste better. The Mendo Purp was more giggly than the CM too. You were high but not so body stoned as with CM. [/FONT]

Dawn, Your Avatar reminds me of two nights ago I saw a big Black widow hanging in my garage. I sprayed him with the fox farms pyrethrum, and went in the house. I went out the next day and got the creeps when I couldnt find the spider. Finally found it several feet away dead. My son had the same reaction and was looking for it that evening.
My Nevilles Haze plant got pretty wind and rain whipped in that last storm. We were checking it out yesterday, and my son commented that it may have been crossed to Panama red. The odor is pretty wild! Ill try and snap a pic later today of that plant. Its hidden back by the orchard.

Nice gentlemen!! Dr, I grew up with Black Widows in my outhouse when I was a kid, creepy critters. I heard you guys had a hell of a rainstorm recently from some of the posts throughout IC. Hope you weren't hit too badly. We've been having a hell of a September for growing here in the NE but one early October storm could bring those plants down in minutes, esp heavy rain and wind.The forecast looks good though so any outdoor growers will be stoked if this continues.
I'm coming into the final 2 weeks on this grow, everything so far looks incredible, I cut some branches of 9'er, Stardawg and HW-F-13 and they all look fantastic.I had almost zero grow time this summer so it's a very lucky position I'm in.One of Franks CBDB's is a creature from outer space, with a monster cola instead of an oversized braincase.A very heavy yielder.I think I have about 12 diff varieties this run so trimming should be more fun than usual.
