Nevilles Haze X Everything....

Obviously I don't have much of a life outside of growing...this is one of the Nevils Blueberry x Sour Grape females adjusting to the lights in my scrog closet. The amount of different varieties contained in this uber polyhybrid is crazy.

That's a nice one :)
I'm sure the phenos are all over the place. Can't wait to hear about the smells those start puttin off.
I know that sour grape was the final product/selection of all your ECSD x Nev breeding, and must be a special girl.

Alright, gonna play 20 questions, but it's gotta be better than no replies so indulge me :)

You've said that haze lines up there are not popular for non-growers, so I'm surprised people seem to like the Blue Nev so much. What do they say they like about her? Is it the smells, effect, power, flower structure? What is it?
Also curious if any of them know about the haze in the sour grape or if the flowers and effects are so "non sativa like" that they don't realize it?

That Orange Kush looks amazing. A real keeper, no doubt.
Does the potency hit the mark? What about duration of high and tolerance? Does she make you sleepy? Curious if orange terps always do that or if it was just my orange girl.

Hopefully the gov never decides to start mowing us down with tanks. The helos and digital surveillance state have been bad enough already. Don't give 'em any ideas :)

The joint smokers liked the hazes where the pipe in the pocket and one hitter crew did not. I can't figure out though for the life of me why a lifetime smoker wouldn't want to see some variety, like a nice Mexican or equatorial sativa. Many do of course but they're all here on these forums, the geeks, regular hammerheads just want to get ripped just like they shoot down a 12 pack in an hour.
Whatever suits anybody is fine with me but come on let's be honest here, some people have zero taste, they drink bad coffee, have mullets and complain about Walmart then they shop there. Soon enough it's going to be an Amazon world and there's not much we can do about it except not shop there or Walmart or Cumby's the whole lot of them could rot in hell if there was such a place...
I'm not saying there are "real" weed smokers and "phonies" but I wish folks were a bit more open minded, I also wish there was a real Yellow Brick Road...:)

Social media allowing everyone global tools to express their individuality has instead had an amazingly powerful effect of driving conformity.
People want to emulate a small group of thought leaders, stars, idols, role models.
Cult of personality.

Hopefully with legalization, the number of people pimping different types of weed will expand to encompass the entire spectrum of weed and we won't be such a monolithic market.
Corporate weed of course is the enemy of that, but it's hard to imagine a public that has evolved today to choosing between 200+ types of beer at the grocery store, settling in and buying only 5 big brands of weed.

Scary thought about the "Amazon world."
They just bought the Whole Foods grocery chain.

I have seen the Amazon revolution in my old home town .
Half the shop fronts are empty and have for lease signs in the window .
Go to town and there`s less options than the google can deliver to your door .

Woody has some ECSD Bx going out in Hawaii . And you know him , he chucks pollen . If they suit the environment they will get shared . You did good with that cross .

Thanks for sharin

Same here EB, I could rent out a storefront for next to nothing and even if the rent was zero I couldn't sell anything because it's too easy to stay at home and click away. The only thing I can do about it is buy what I can locally but the only businesses doing well are banks and construction companies. The bigger construction companies are buying out the smaller ones and it goes on and on. It's a tough fight to fight esp when you know you'll lose.
I'm happy to hear those sour sativa hybrids are going in Hawaii. I imagine they'll do fairly well as that's what we run outdoors here where it's also wet and humid in the warm season. I'm setting up a 200 gal coco fabric pot with a big sour grape(Sour BX1) clone we vegged for months under 24/7. It's very mold/PM resistant and actually finishes early enough, at least before the hurricaines come blowing in.
Meanwhile I'm waiting for corporate weed to show up because I know for sure they don't want me in their town. Although locally the towns have banned corporate dispos, they want the weed grown here and sold here so the money stays here, almost like it is now...:)
Two rules in my shop, no chicks and no mullets.:tiphat:

Meanwhile I'm trying to break a record with my Lucy. She went a bit funky after coming in from a T5 overhead veg but she's been coming around nicely.

Summer projects...

This Chem 91' has been vegging in my isolation room for a long time so I figured I'd run her alone in my cold spot where the Orange Kush was. She's crazy branchy so it's going to be a bit of work. I was going to throw a sour in here but this was growing so big I had to do something with her...:tiphat:

Transplanting this was a nightmare but it's done. She went into 7 gal of 50/50 rock/coco mix. My wife hates these rocks..."they end up all over my yard" blah, blah, blah. I love rocks!!:)

Looking good stardog. Never tried a 50-50 mix of the rocks and coco before sounds like a lot of watering which I love, gonna have to steal that idea and try it. I started to use the clay pellets and growstones in some dwc applications and even though people and info our there pushes for me to use the growstones I think I see the clay pellets doing a little better. Also nothing like the old lady naggin cause of grow supplies around, lol. If I leave another bottle of floranova is the kitchen I'm officially gonna be kicked out and moving into one of the grow rooms, shit at least I'll get more work done that way.

Yeah those rocks are called "hydro corn" I think, made by Gold Brand coco. They seem a bit lighter but I know they work really well, esp as a base for a big rockwool block or just about anything you want to use. Despite being lighter than hydroton they're still heavy so moving larger containers around can be a chore, esp if you're going uphill. The big 91' is taking to the new mix wonderfully, now I just have to get in there and trim out the shoots up closer to the main stem so I don't end up with a big mess in the end. The 91' seems a bit more "branchier" for lack of a better term, compared to a D or Sister. This is my entertainment...:tiphat: Dull, I know, but you can see how thick the branches are.

Agreed, this is all I do. Wake up at 2, sometimes 1am, click around on the computer, dick around with plants from 4-4 and then pass out.Sometimes I just don't know how this happened...:) I see people traveling around, driving by my house, laughing with the look of not having a care in the world, no timers to think about, no pumps or clones rooting to care about etc but that's an illusion, the weekend ends, Monday comes, I can't bear the thought so I'll stick with my plants because despite being tricky on occaision I'm relatively free despite being a determinist. Contradictions everywhere. I had a real job once...:tiphat:

Time to put the hammer down and start cutting some leaves out of this 91' and maybe throw a net over the top. I can't reach the backside very easily once the flowers start up so hopefully today I can have all that done. I can see about 5 gal worth of leaves coming off easily. She's doing well though, I'm going to have to find another spot for my "pets" in the front. I always have a few small plants around that I move everywhere as spaces open up. Some of them turn out to be pretty good.:)

One of my other rooms has an SFV about the same size as the 91' above but she's fully stretched out and at about day 50. So far so good with the PM, I had a few tiny spots on my giant Lucy but it's not spreading at all. Maybe the root drenches with Regalia are keeping it in check. This room has been great since mid May when I flipped it but keeping this thing back from the bulbs hasn't been easy. Love these flowers though, SFV is one of my favorites for sure.:tiphat:

My Lucy at the same age as the SFV. She's being squeezed out by my rockwool slab on the wall. I almost lost the whole slab when the drippers clogged up. Luckily I caught it in time and only lost a few leaves when they started drooping.

Modified Lucas formula more or less, liquid Koolbloom and doubled down on silicone hence the "fake plant" type of leaves. I used to use 1 tbsp/5gal of silica blast but I doubled that. Never cut out the micro either only so that I have one mix for a perpetual grow. It's probably a bit out dated and expensive but I've good luck with it so although I do mess around with other mixes the Lucas mix with liquid koolbloom is my go to and Dyna Grow for veg with the same heavy silicone dose.
