you can use alfalfa in place of nettles if you cant find any.
alfalfa is a good food for fungal teas as well.

i really hope i can find nettles, i've done a lot of research on where to find them and what they look like because i've never even heard of them

you've never seen a nettle? where do you live?

lol i know people with nettles growing in there yard and they dont know what nettles are, nothing wrong with that.

nettles like to live in the forest, along side streams and such. if you cant find any, its easy to order seeds online and get some established.

lol, dude 99% of the population sees nettles as a weed, a weed that fucking stings you at that. and 99% of times out of that, it gets the round up.

after doing my research, i can understand your amazement. i can honestly say i haven't seen them before, but my adventures out into nature are less frequent than i would like as of late, but when i would it would be the wrong habitat (desert).
also, jay, i share your amusement. and every place that i've found that sells nettle seeds are out until the end of may.

I've made my first attempt brewing nettle tea but I'm a little afraid to use it in indoor......It smells really bad, is it normal? what do you think guys?

oh man... I wanna join but I got nowhere to grow nettles...

or do i?

muhahahahahahahah!

i've got this nettle growing at my veggie garden that is super fast and has a very short stature. it would look good amongst your living mulch...

at the garden i have a problem with them reseeding before i catch them, but i bet in a controlled indoor environment you could keep them from pollenating.

lets not forget the soil building properties nettle does as well
i used some topsoil from a very lush nettle field,as a bulk ingredient to some container soil i mixed not to long ago & this stuff rocks..
also notice that nettle seems to take chunks of soil when pulled from ground. we cut the top and ferment like most here, also dry for amending or ACT but also take the rhizosphere & all that beautiful rich dark soil with it & brew that sucker like one would with casting or quality compost.
trust, in side them rootzones, is a masterpiece
