Some shots of a couple NepJams I have in flower at 6 weeks.

I've finally gotten mine going. Bought a 5 pack of NJ fems from Herbies, only had a 2/5 strike rate (I was hoping for at least 3/5), but those 2 girls have been the images of good health since the moment they emerged. Pistils emerged roughly a week ago, and I'm looking so forward to seeing how they turn out.

Edit: 2 weeks later and all is still going well!

Hi Terpene

I'm glad to see Nepal Jam cut still has a place in your garden :tiphat:

Hi Tr0picThund3r,

Yours indeed looks more jamaican. How are the aromas in late flowering ?

TropicThunder, interesting expressions on the leaf edges. Some areas seem smooth while others have double serrations. On the upper right of the pic is a leaf with alternating large and small serations of the leaf's edge.

Comparatively, Terpene's cut has consistant edges all the way down on each leaf.

(just an observation which tickles my fancy)

Good observation Thcvhunter. The serrations on the leaf are doubled up.

Dubi thanks for the confirmation. I figured she wasn't the squat Nepalese pheno so she must have been more Jamaican with those thin leaves.

The aromas of the buds range from berry and mango to caramel and cat piss. Stem rub is most definitely caramel but the buds themselves are more fruity/mango/cat piss smell.

She stopped producing new pistils and had around 10% amber, 60% cloudy, and 30% clear trichomes so I harvested her today. I want to say it was 110 days total/60 days flower. She was outdoors so I don't know exact flowering date (when do you start counting?) but the total days is correct.

I'm really happy with the results I got. She looks exactly like the stock photo on ACE's website and yielded quite well in 2 gallon test pot. Next season she will be in at least 7 gallons so I'm hoping to double my yield. Thanks Dubi, Ace Seeds, Cannabiogen and Charlie_Garcia for pumping these seeds out. :tiphat:

Oh boy... look at that light green one. I'm always attracted to the skinny leaf and light green colored ones.

I'm curious to see what would happen if someone crossed Nepalese Jam with Malawi. Has anyone tried this before? If so, what were the results?

Hi KalidoscopeMind,

Not sure about others, but we haven't made a Nepal Jam x Malawi cross yet.

Short smoke report on my Nep Jam.

Taken from early_bird's thread the high is "A mood enhancer without couchlook and an nice social up high without beeing racy."

Very nice smell of berries and pine. It tastes amazing in my vaporizer. High has no ceiling and is very euphoric. Great daytime smoke that won't put you to sleep.

Absolutely will have a spot in my garden for many more years. Hats off to Ace and Canabiogen for this one.

I'm glad you are enjoying it Tr0picThund3r :)

We have just recently produced new Nepal Jam standard stock from a new selection, we have found 3-4 new very nice females from seed that will be used along with the old NJ mothers to produce a feminized version that hopefully will be ready around June.
