Hey MGJ, I think you will be pleased with the Mod, I find it hard to keep my hands out of the jars :yoinks:
At the moment i am not growing to much else. I grow a small amount of poppies most yrs and am planning on getting a few more exotic plants very soon.
I look after these, they are pretty but i don't grow them for myself.

Must say this one's a beauty neil! Poppies too huh? Been reading a bit of history lately, and it seems just after the Civil War most of the population lived on farms, and the two medicinal plants that were always dried and ready to use were kind bud and dried poppy pods. Nice to know that in troubled times we can take a lesson from history and our own medicine.

What other "exotics" are you thinking of getting?

Well possibly a java'n/Columbian plant or two. :D
I also want to try and grow a hawaiian baby woodrose bush and i have some blue lotus, but i bought them by chance so need to check whether i have any growing info for them. A few more cacti too.
Do you grow much besides some pretty amazing bud?

Sounds like fun! If you like the idea of South American plants, Jaboticaba is a nice plant - has to be warm all the time though so it has to be indoors in the late fall / winter. It is an unusual fruit plant - the fruit / flowers arise from old wood not new wood. Very unusual and beautiful.

Thx for the props:friends:! I love to grow plants. Couple generations back one side of my family were farmers. I have grown bonsai for a few years now , love growing flowers,

vegetables and fruit trees too - guess I like growing everything except poison ivy :pointlaug

:jawdrop:   That Azalea bonsai is amazingly beautiful!! Hope I'll be able to grow something like that eventually. Wow is all I can say  grow on! and do I ever have stories about poison ivy. :puppydoge :nono: :pointlaug

And thanks much to neilspotshop for all the great MOD pics and info. Seems as though you're one of the only ones out there actually documenting some of his seeds, and well at that. I just ordered a few and you've gotten me all excited to jump right in and get growing the strain!! :yummy: :D

Those are very beautiful trees MGJ ! :yoinks: I don't pretend to no anything about real bonsai but i Imagen it takes some time and skill. The Jaboticaba Is very interesting, i Imagen i could find a window spot or even some space under lights if needed during the winter.
Thanks UL! I wish you all the best with your mod Gear!

Thanks my friend! Time is the key with bonsai - lots of time - set and forget - check once in a while - transplant every 2-6 years :yoinks: :biglaugh: if you take the plunge on the jaboticaba post up some pics, would love to see what you do with it!

Hi neil, looks like you'll have beautiful exotic garden soon..
I just want to suggest you not to order java plants seeds until warm weather came...its usually arrives already germinated, and frost may kill em.

good luck to you bro.

I agree with elevator man that is a nice shot cause the first thing that came out of my mouth waz DAAAMN! :yoinks: With the refection like that.

As far as your next round it is hard to choose. I usually pick what is ready at the time. But thats just me. That Blockhead is on my list soon. Nokuy had some lovely remerks about blockhead. I know maybe write them all down on a piece of paper and put em in a hat and have a drawing LOL Tough decisions

Thanks guy's!
Yes the drawing might b a plan but you might have it right with the blockhead, really would be best to have something shorter flowering in there too:)
