one_eyed_jack, I doubt you'll find most folks telling you no, if they haven't tried it. So it seems like no one here (with fingers) has tried them...
I DO know of a guy who just chopped an NL from them. It seemed almost like a nightmare upon first inspection, but it might be ok. But ok isn't what we do this shit for!
I'll see if that guy wants to tell you what he thinks of their stuff...
thank's hazy and thank's crazy i appreciate your info.............i have 4 of the jack h. cinnomon in right now and one of the NLxBB so far they all look great....nice strong plants they all just started to through a bit of odore this morning at lights on kind of a light mint smell think i'll give em another week in veg and then get on with it.I should have some photo's for ya'all this week and I'll try to document the entire grow for ya............
hey crazy just an after thought but, what wwas wrong with the grow or the genetics?to many pheno's?male banana's or did it out and out hermie?or was there some other unforeseen issue's with the plants?
hey one eyed jack .. ive grown a few out now , cinnamon , white widow , and currently have the grapefruit in ... been pretty happy with the results so far , one of the stressed cinnamons did form a few bananas on it , but the others were all good .. the white widow was nice . no bananas , and some very tight and fat buddage .. ill let you know how the grape goes , but looks nice so far ...
right on wally thank's for the good vibes i was getting a bit worried using the female genetics even though they are the best growing plants i've had in yet.......for the sake of argument what stress did the one plant incure that brought out the bannana's..........I got so paraniod righ after germ i transplanted into a couple of 5 gallon buckets and a couple of 3 gallon buckets so i'd only have to toucn em like that one time............they seem to like it so fat............at 15 days into veg........all have 5 nodes and range from 5 to 7 inch's tall and are all a really nice deep green.............thank's again for the heads up i owe ya one.........i'm gonna go check your thread out...............
hmmm me to but somehow I think i'll end up growing it myself..........most of the growers i work with in my area are only into the skunky stuff no one want's to spend the money on fem seeds or grow anything fruity or spicey........go figure......anyway maybe we can work something out........right now my next cycle is narrowed down to a 20 seed round of nirvana papaya and bubblicious or a 20 seed drop of seeddirects freebies, those being POK hindu kush x white giant(swiss genetics) and the rather tasty sounding durban x skunk1.......................how ever mrs one eyed jack is pushing for new genetics from BOG she seems to have a major fixation on me growing her some lifesaver and sweet cindy.............choices choices choices. The way i see it is if the femalseedsNL stuff is as nice as it looks and is as stable as wallyduck seems to think then i'd say theres a good chance of some grapefruit and NL x BB be the next cycle....I have a sneaking suspicion that grapefruit would make some very interesting hash.
i got the lifesaver and its well worth the effort ,the pheno i got is truly candy just like the description ,i also got the sourbubble and that is a seriously strong weed try it if u dare lol
i dare i dare....................with new genetics like BOG's stuff it's always a question of funding..............but hey thats what clones and bartering are for right?
The only plant I've seen from this company was an NL.
There was hardly a trace of any resin. The microscope could hardly make a case for it either.
It was just one plant, but it was lacking in genetic expression.
We ran some bag seed once that was absolutely phenominal! When the plant was flowering, I noticed it had only trace amounts of resin, and hardly any smell at all. The mother was great, but the daughter was terrible. The plant was a healthy, impotent dissapointment.
Therefore, it's entirely possible that the feminised NL came from outstanding parents, but was herself a resin runt, of sorts.
you should show your mates what fruitey and spicey is all about , much respect for skunk , .. but ive smoked a lot and time for a fresh taste ... good to try a few , never know might be right up your alley l.... anyhow for the notes , and to introduce your mates to a fruity somthin they may well enjoy .. i am soon to release a nice tropical fruit salad .... nice mix of pineapple cindy f4 x pineappla cindy f4 , blueberry , black berry , orange , grapefruit , mango , and strawberry webb ...
MMMMM thats very tasty sounding wally..........making me hungry..............oh i almost forgot how long did it take your cinnomon to finish and did it ever smell like it's supposed to?oh and let me know when your fruit salad is ready i'd like to try some of your genetics.........
from wht i recall she was around a 60 day lady ,,, nice fruity sativery smell , one stood ou t from the others in smell , real nice ....
no tokin joe these will all be standard leafed plants , but almost as fun .. lol ...
thanks wally......................i just got back from my mission to get a battery for my digi cam....................i'll be starting a new thread for this grow starting with this afternoons photo's of the girls at 16 days under MH light hope ya like em.....let me know what ya think...............
