I may be wrong on this but I thought a horse p[ower equals 3000BTU,anyone else have any input?I know 1 horsepower equals 746 watts lol

1 HP does equal about ~746w...so using the standard 10.0 EER, that would be roughly about 7000btu's of cooling per HP. ~21000btu's oughta be plenty IMO....if my math is correct :chin:

High Friends,
thanks for droping by,
IMB,
the Ac's are 3.20kw each and produce 14.676 BTU's each. (thats if i read the sheet right) so ill have aprox. 29.352BTU's (if i read it all correct, hehehe)

i might have to go and check the units again to make sure i got the correct info off the net. hehehehehe :bat: :bat:

god i hope i got enough!!! :badday: :badday: :badday:

oh and Mr IMB,i am well aware of your COCO prowess so dont think your getting away without getting questioned heavily either.hahahahaah :joint:

Tim-Tim,
your on the heavily questioned list as well mate so dont go trying to sneak out the room hehehe :lurk:

Kindest Regards,FT

looking very nice and professional my friend, now all you need is the plants and your on your way! too bad you live overseas my friend or we would be talking about plants!

J

jonnybgood29

oh and trust me my friend, you will definitely be cool enough, and doubt that they will need to run much with that amount of cooling my friend.... besides i dont cool mine, the room gets high 80s to mid 90s all summer and all i have to do is use protekt to prevent stressing of the plant and keep them happy at the higher temps, so youll be more than adequately cooled my friend.... just be sure to keep an eye on your ladies during mid flower.... those acs will strip a lot of water from your room, you can count on that!

Father Time

Thanks for droping by mate,
hopefully the room will be fine,i did nt get a chance to test the temps and lights yesterday, and no chance of it today,it's x-mass day here today and the moungrel kids have been out since 4am :badday: :badday: :badday:

noting like x-mass to spoil / ruin a mans bloody day,god i hate this shit. :sasmokin: :sasmokin:

oh,i did however find thes hoods thinking about grabing some and hooking them up to the scrubber intake line and pulling the heat out the globes.

hey man, merry christmas my friend! yeah i know its a pain to not do anything, but hey, what better day than christmas to take a break from our hobby!

the hoods are a great idea, but i really fee it would be over kill with the setup you have already, but may save you some money on cooling costs by them not having to run as often! so either way would work, it all depends on your budget my friend!

remember that those hungry ladies will cool your room down a little since they will be absorbing a lot of the light!

High,
well things are progressing slower than one would have liked but christmas has gotten in the way and i supose new year will do the same bloody thing :sasmokin:

anyhow,
the cuts have been in the bubbler for about 10 days and ther ready to go into some form of medium :woohoo:

so,the plan is to put them into coco tommorow and then back under the fluros until the rooms up and runnning. :joint:

ill oput them into smaller pots and try to get them struck in the coco/perlite mix,i will update wiht pics of the transplant tommorow.
Kindest Regards,FT

TimTim,
mate,i have absoutley no acces to anything indoors here where i live, the nearest shops like 300plus km away. :badday:

anyhow,i found some 'Palm Peat" in Big-W and thaught it looked fine enough so i grabed some of that.

i have got a good friend getting me some Canna - Coco nutes and some Canna PK13-14 this week if can access the right stuff via phone today,i still will not see it until after new years.... :sasmokin: :sasmokin:
Kind Regards,FT

That sux to hear bro, I used to get ALL my stuff from a place in Qld, mail-ordered, so just lemme know if ya want a hook up.

The "palm peat" you've got will prolly be just fine tho, just make sure theres no salt in there by giving it a good rinse.

Good news that you can atleast get hold of Canna's Coco nutes. They will give you some great results. And for even better results, if ya can, try some of AN's Overdrive. I use it for 2 weeks, starting 4 weeks before harvest, and my buds just blow up like crazy.

Anyway dude, I think you've pretty well got it all sorted. Can't wait for the show to start!

TimTim.
thanks for the responce mate,i would appericate it if you could Pm me the name of the company your dealing with mate. :joint:

i rinsed /washed the coco this morning and it seemed actually very clean indeed (so fingers crossed) :chin:

the perlite has been added at 30% and i preped the pots, with a layer off weed mat across the bottom and and about 3/4inch of hydrotron as well.

getting close to putting the cuts into them,am just waiting until this afternoon to do the job.
Kindest Regards,FT

Hihg,
well i finally got the cuts into the cocomix, feed them a nice little drink of rootzone conditioner and out them back under the lights to settle.

so i guess its a waiting game now to see who lives and who dies :yoinks:

Father Time

JonnyB,
i have indeed my friend, she is as black as pitch! :woohoo:

i've since posting the update on the intake flume this morning , managed to get the exaust hole cut and flumeing fitted . :joint:

will wait to get the new year out the way and then i should have saved enough pennys to pay for the scrubber - fan - heat sheilds - nutes.hehehe

oh,and the scratches on the floor where driveing me mad so i re-painted the whole room... again.heheheehe (4th time)

i have tried all the lights one at a time today, there all working fine,i am waiting for my stoner Sparky to come and finish fitting the breaker boxes...

the cuts are all looking really healthy, no drooping of leaves or any sign of stress so far,and its been 48hours since thay went into the coco mix :woohoo:

Kindest Regards,FT
