The environment will change significantly when that room is full of plants.
I hope so, mate I dont know if it is common, but am getting spikes of 1200/1250 ppm when I have it dialed to 900 ppm,and this happens now in the new spot for the CO2 sensor, today started at 850 ppm at 19h and now 1:16 is at 1350 ppm but i can see in the controllers logs a spike at 1436 ppm. all of this with no plants in the roomThe environment will change significantly when that room is full of plants.

soooo funny, i was just about to write about me reducing the flow of CO2n from the regulator and there is your advice.May try dialing the pressure down on your regulator so it takes longer to disperse the same amount of co2, thus giving it more time to disperse. It’s what I do at least.
I ve ordered 60 Gelato clones, amost here.Looks like she’s about ready. Get some plants in there my man!
Sounds like fun. How are you going to be growing? Soil, hydro, coco? Already have nutes and whatnot picked out?
I cant seem to manage to keep the room at the CO2 levels I want, last night it did seem to work, had it dialed at 900ppm and thats where it kept itself when lights went off.
This morning when I checked it it was at 1350 something
I know it will behave in a different way with plants inside, but, it seem to me 1350 ppm when dialed at 900 its way off?
Anyway another thing I noticed is the room did build morre CO2 to 1450+ in the past 3 hours,i doubt the controller released more CO2
how can CO2 increase without plants in the room?
Spray foam and then fiberglass with a nice coat of white boat paint on the whole inside of the room for the ultimate insulated cleanable sealed room. The fumes from the resin curing will really give the neighbor something to b$%&* about and probably cover up the smell for awhile too
And ya you can simply hook a filter to a fan and set it in the room to scrub the air.
You don't need to get too fancy really just build a box and insulate the fan for now if you aren't sealed, especially if its more of a hum than the actual exhaust sound.
You can build an exhaust muffler by using a rigid metal duct pipe that is an inch or 2 bigger in diameter than the current ducting, and use that 1-2" rippled foam padding stuff, like in a mattress topper, etc to line it with.
Also 2 fans on a speed controller turned down are more silent and move the same amount of air as one turned up, or even a bigger one turned down. You could hook 2 filters up as well with the air moving slower through both and doing a better job.

Probably your breathing while you are working in there!
The higher the exertion the more the co2.
There was a guy who used to do his wife in the room and watch the levels rise. Think it was Lester Beans, that story never gets old
i do a quick in and out of the room since am doing this checks, and the Controller is right behind the door.Probably your breathing while you are working in there!

My controller allows me to set a band that it operates in. The controller kicks in at 1000ppm and shuts off at 1400ppm. When I don't screw the solenoid assembly to the tank tightly I have excess CO2 even when the lights are off.
