A few more from last year. Saw a Screech Owl up close, got to show it to my 5-year-old daughter. Nifty stuff.

My killer feline, not so killer-y right now..

Cupla birds I saw together (Great Blue Herons)

Just some ferny ferns, being fern-like...

And this flower. Does anyone know what it is? ..

The head of the flower (the pink part) is maybe 1.5 inches in diameter. The whole plant is maybe a foot tall. We tried all of our taxonomy books but couldn't get anywhere. Found it growing in the midst of wild blueberries and poison ivy. Guess what I was doing there? Ha. The part under the flower is scaly and very firm. We planted it to see how it grows this year, if it does.

Oh, and forgot the last pic from last year, a piebald deer. Sorry it's blurry, it was almost dark, and my camera was maxed out on zoom, taken from a car window.

Can anyone tell me a good program to use for resizing and editing images that is relatively simple to use?

I can remember being in high school walking around a 100 acre property with a couple friends and we all were carying our shotguns. I was just shooting logs and clay pigeons that day, but a friend of mine spotted a squirrel in a tree, aimed, and down it went. He picked the thing up, carried it over to us....ok a dead squirrel.....Then I guess he figured he might as well get more target practice out of it....unloaded the rest of the gun......The memory has stuck with me..... :badday: :rasta:
