Mysterious Men Dropping From Helicopters To Chop Down NorCal Marijuana Grows

The stories are of people chopping and leaving it retro grow , long before it's worth anything medically
So you're saying nobody's home is being invaded and people aren't being killed, so it's not worth giving up your life to defend some plants that could die from mold or pest pressure or animals anyway.... that's deep.
And they are allowed to do this why???
No bobble, that happens too... But these guys specifically just fuck up your grow.
I'm pretty sure the chopper we saw yesterday as news from the angles they were doing.

You come on my property , I defend it , like it or lump it , I,m 66 I will die soon anyway and like Merle said " if I have to go back inside prison ,at least I don,t have long to live , shut this thread down because who gives a shit about this helicopter stuff , home invasions and people that get shot , in Their homes that is the real problem with weed still being illegal and the other problem is it costs too much , hell in forty years I been robbed four times , arrested once , ripped some guys off that were thugs and have lost contact with ALL my kids and grand kids over my weed use , what prices have you paid ? Men in helicopters ?

The thread could be very interesting if it included more, or rather any, first hand reports of actual events rather than a lot of rumor and macho posturing.
@bigmo, I am three years older than you with three kids and five grandchildren. I've never been robbed, never been arrested, never ripped anybody off. I also supply medicinal cannabis to my 91 year old mother, my 62 year old sister, my 86 year old mother in law, my wife, and some recreational bud to my youngest son. I don't buy it and I don't sell it. Everybody has a story and I suspect weed was not the only thing that left you estranged from your family. Hope you can make up with them.

My plot of plants was not worth dying for. One has time to consider this question when growing a whole summer for 10 years.
Anyways, at least they aren't looking in peoples' garages, Mother Rooms, or houses, where the indoor grows may be. haha.
It all sucks though. The feeling as a Heli hovers over YOU, centering on YOU, is not a good one. The property shakes, windows rattle or even crack. The pets freak out. The GF too.
In the first couple years I must admit to being nervous, being just outside town on an acre or so. Especially after the aforementioned helicopter visit to My Greenie on my very first harvest. Then I later figured, nothing's happened yet, be vigilant, be quick, unpredictable and direct with any possible interlopers, and people will look elsewhere at easier targets.
Altough there were several challenges, some extreme, no rips. No cops.
I hope LEAR is called to account for this, and we all find out who paid them. Mendo people might be a bit pissed, ya think...? Ain't hippie-land anymore, haha.

Y'all with trees around should start stringing up enough prayer flags on heavy wire from tree to tree to keep any chopper from landing.

I think you will need more than wire. More like steel cables. Choppers will cut right through wire.
Oh, there's Metheads too. Stories that would make your hair curl. But Tweakers are not known for patience, and clear thinking. Without which it is difficult to function for long as a career POS, or anything for that matter, except maybe a bartender at a late night club, like everyone I knew in the 90's SF CA.

How many HOME INVASIONS have you had in your county ? How many people have been shot ?just in qthe paper and on Facebook I have seen at least a dozen already in Humbolt , Mendocino and Sonoma , these killings are the real news and it infuriates that nobody but nobody that I saw at any of the Bay Area cannabis events ever says a word , these people remind me of the jerks who say it,s the owner not the pit bulls fault when someone gets mauled , I went almost twenty years not smoking weed thinking my family would respect me , no way , I am too violent I guess , some say they have grown weed for years with no problems , well bully for you , most people I know have either been ripped off at least once or busted , not smoking again and learning meditation may still be an option .
So you're mad because growers are getting robbed and killed and you don't think the issue is getting enough attention. And your family doesn't respect you because they think you have violent tendencies, even though you quit smoking weed to impress them. And you think meditation might help.
