you got ph troubles...check run off and water for ph level adjust it. Cheers

14 pages and just seedlings...really wont wait for a joint from here.

PH could definitely be a factor, however don't you think that this early on the cotyledons should be providing everything the plant needs regardless of water PH? It shouldn't quite be at the stage yet where it's having to leech nutrients from the soil, which is really when PH comes into play, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

My guess is still over watering, cause I've experienced this exact same thing before.

Interesting. That's quite early to be getting calmag def (rust spots and pale leaf)

What's your medium/ph? I'm not expert, but at this point the cotyledons should be providing your plant everything it needs in terms of food, so the only thing I can think of is potentially over watering?

My C99 is from Female Seeds. She's explosive!
I am not sure on my PH. I will measure it next time when I water the plants. It can be while because I have over watered Bubblegummer. It should explaing why only it is showing rust spots.
Nice to hear that your plants are doing great.

I bet it is over watering too. I wont water them for while and lets see how they grow.

Soil I am using is not so good to use in small containers because I had only hydro rocks to use as airation. Next time I will use smaller lava rocks.

Sorry for there being so many bages. I will make index at some point so it will be easier to read tough this tread.

I should have mentioned that I grow in organic soil and everything should be in soil. I have even top dressed with fertilizer mix.

As you can see I build better than grow. lol. If plants dont seem to get better with time and PH is ok, I will make some kind of nute tea with neem cake and feed them with it.

Keep it up. I like your thread.

It looks a bit like overwatering to me, but it could also be that the PH of the soil its self is way off. Do you have any type of PH measuring devices?

Thanks. I have PH meter which I will use at next watering. I will measure PH of run off.

any updates?
Yes I have.
Few days ago I did put 3 Amnesia haze, 3 Super silver haze and 2 Malawi seeds in water and 12 hours later I put them in soil so that I work faster. It worked.
I have finished case number 2!

Few of seeds I put in soil is peeking already. :)
I will put light on soon inside case 2.

Plants inside case 1 seems to be recovering and I think I have figured out what caused yellowing if they dont yellow anymore.
When I made water solution of silicon last time I did use 12ml of silicon+ instead of 6ml that I should have used. I measured PH of run of with PH paper because I did not find my ph meter. PH was 5-6. I will post pics of them later today.

4 led sockets are enough for pc box
I am planning to use silicon too it helps with high temps at least in
theory..

what silicon are you using?

grats on finishing the 2nd box :)

I use silicon+ as source of silicon.

Here is pics I promised.

Plants seems to make full recovery. : )

This is my yogurt cup plant. It is in coco coir. Others are in soil.
I feed it with General hydroponics micro and bloom.

Here is full view of of plants inside case 1.
Smalest is slow grower. I did put one extra walkabout seed in soil it is in. Today it was risen on top of soil. Because slow plant is growing faster than I tought, I left it in container and transplanted other plant to other container.
It will replace one Amnesia haze that have not risen on top of soil in case 2.

Plants are slowly growing except in coco coir where plant is growing very fast. I have put another seed in coco coir pecause of health and speed of first coco coir plant. It is Auto Northern lights.
View of case 1.

I think one problem with my soil is that I top dressed too much fertilizer too soon. I only measured with my eyes.
Does this look like nutrient over dose to you?

View of case 2
Super silver haze on left, Amnesia haze on right.

Walkabout on far left, Super silver haze far right and front Malawis.

I think I will transfer walkabout from case 2 to 1 and yougurt cup plant from case 1 to 2 so that both yogurt cups will be in case 2.
There will be one more Amnesia haze in case 2.
Next update will be on sunday and after that I will update every sunday untill I start to print mother box. I take at least one week break from building before I start. When it is finished I will continue to update every sunday.
I have forgot that I need timer for case 2. I will buy it when I get money at some point.

They are so young it's difficult to say what is wrong for sure. It could be just too hot soil and they will grow out of it. It could also be pH problems. What kind of water are you using? It could also be over watering. Roots need oxygen, so you should lit it dry out between waterings.

I use normal tap water which I let sit at least 12 hours pefore using. I can measure its ph and ec if I find my meters. I let soil dry to min 3 cm depth pefore watering.

at this stage I just water em like 2-3ml once per 24h /pure coco in 250ml yogurt cups/ just a little bit at the sides its better to have the pot dry at next watering rather than to drown the roots
water less maybe much less..

e: but I know nada about soils /this goes for coco/

SSH and amnesia
very nice choice of sativas :)

If you have hard water, your pH is probably too high. Mine comes out at arou d 8.1 wich is way too high. That can lead to nutrient lockout. That being said, plants that small have very little need for nutrients before the first set of true leaves appear.

If you are watering when the top is dry, you may be drowning the roots. I like to water by weight. Try this, get one of your pots and fill it with dry soil. Now lift that pot up and feel how light it is. Now pick up one of your plants. Don't water again until your plant is as light as the dry pot.

ima say too much water, the two dryer ones look better
If you mean by dryer ones the ones in case 2, I have top dressed them less my fertilizer mix.

I use same water for every other plant that I own and they use same soil mix and they are fine except my cactus are in cactus soil. I dont think there is problem with water.
I will try to water by weight in future. Thanks for tip.

The lift the pot method has worked for lots of folks for a long time.

I know that I tend to over water my seedlings, so I have actually gone to the ~8 oz plastic cups for them.
