That's correct. For soil using salt or chemical fertilizer, pH 6.2 - 6.7 is ideal. But not for organic growing. The humates in organic soil will buffer pH so the organic nutes can be taken up by the plants at varying pH.

There is another thing to consider when adding your lime to your mix, is that most containers are not what they seem. In that I mean that if the container is one gallon it is smaller than that, like .74 gallon. I started to adjust the amounts according to the container numbers on the bottom and cross referencing it with the NSI(Nursery Supplies Inc.) numbers from their web site.

I used chemical tests and 2 different types of electronic testers all had same conclision PH of 7

Ive actually considered using a scale, to me that would be a true measurement.
