hey man i love your grow.i am aswell very jealous.i have been using led ufos in a closet and only getting 1/4 per plant dried.one plant and you topped my whole grow with 175w of homemade cooltube.i did decide to go mh instead of hps with a 90w ufo to supplement the mh with more red.i was under the impression that mh buds are small and not as good as hps but this proves that mh can do just as good of a job.i am actually using a sunsystem aircooled hood instead of a cooltube but same principle.i am just happy to see that i have 400w of the same light that grew that plant lol....thanks for the journal it was a very good morning read.indoorsavant

hey thanks guys for the compliments! i enjoy getting them. Yeah indoorsavant i was impressed on how well the MH light worked. It would be interesting to see what a hps would do. But im pretty sure cause of the dimensions of the case you wouldn't really see to much a difference between the 2. The bulb i used was already putting out 17,400 lumens lol.

alright so its been 3 days of hanging, the outer leaves were turning slightly crispy, also the stem is almost at the point of snapping. so i jarred the nugs. I threw them on the scale it totaled to be 35.78. So take off probably another 5 to 6 grams after the 2 week cure time. i guess not to shabby for a first run. next time will be 2 plants and more training, see what happens. will probably test it out on 420! later guys

Was she still relatively unsmelly at harvest? (curious too what you thought of pigpens design, cause i built mine today )

So is that a 4" pot you grew in? A oz of dried bud in that sounds unbelievable. How many times a day were you watering? =]

actually at harvest she was not smelly either. Even now when burping my jar it does not reek up the room or anything. Only when your touching it and squeezing. But the carbon scrubber worked very good. Also to answer the pot size question it was a 6 1/2" I would water usually every other day to 2 days.

Hey guys! it's been a while since i have been on here. I couldn't grow over the summer just way to hot, where i have my pc case at. But since its starting to cool down, im getting her ready for round 2. I got some changes that i made. First i am not going to be using a 175watt MH this time. I had a 85w HO CFL that puts out like 5500 lumens. It is a 6400k. I'm going to use this for veg, Then i have a 100w hps im going to throw in for flowering. I will be doing 2 plants this time. But i guess we will see if it out beats thats 175w MH! Then for the second thing i modded the case a little. I cut out the front metal mesh for the fans. Pretty much im just waiting on the seeds to get here. I ordered some ch9 seeds. I got pineapple,green bud, and jack. Here is a couple of pics. The CFL just barely! fit lol

Well my seeds finally arrived! I started to clean things up in the case, getting her ready. I used the dremel today and cut out the front of the case. Im probably going to construct a light trap eventually for each square. But right now stealth isnt really a issue. I choose to start with 1 jack and 1 pineapple.
