Snow is coming again in the high country this weekend, that means I will have to work and miss going to the Phillip Island GP, the colloidal silver production and spraying continues. Flip them next week. But for the time been I have to get ready for a possibly large snow event, just when I thought summer was here.. Shit happens, working in the high country, love it.

THAT RIGHT ELECTRODE IS DOING WEIRD STUFF, ELECTROLYSIS, THE BEGINNING OF COLLOIDAL SILVER

picture.php

it's "rusting" effectively. oxidation is occurring as there's a negative charge on one silver element and a positive one on another and a reaction occurs where the silver ionizes separating from one metal element and going into the water. as this happens oxygen in the water attaches to some of the silver ions that are part of the element causing it to rust. looks like it won't take long at all for your water to be ready hehe

I am doing 2 750 ml batches each day, over night and during the day. I'm spraying the plants twice daily, saturating them. Next week I flip to 12/12 and we will see what happens.

got this from PhenoMenal's thread and have had ppl advise the same thing..

When should I start spraying the target female with CS?

In the past it has been recommended that you start spraying two weeks before going into 12/12 flowering, and continue spraying until you start seeing pollen develop. This is still the recommended way. However, we now know that it isn't necessary to spray so early. I applied colloidal silver to a female that had been flowering for over 4 weeks, and I only sprayed for 10 days, but still ended up with a plant full of pollen. However you wouldn't want to leave it much later than that.

The main thing that's important is that you know the plant is a female, so if you're not sure your plant is a female then YES you can actually wait until you see pistils to confirm that before starting to apply CS.

would be interesting if you did one plant one way and the other plant the other way HC so we could see which way works the best

Hi,

Are you gonna use colloidal silver until flushing?

No Astaroth, I'm going to spray until male flowers appear. I have no intention at all of smoking these plants. All I want is the pollen. Once that is collected into the rubbish bin they go.

G'day shroomy, I read that bit of the thread, interesting. My girls are definitely girls, I've never had a male before, this strain is clone only. I might try your suggestion if these 2 girls change sex. I wonder what happens if you spray a known male plant?

LETS PRODUCE SOME POLLEN, MAYBE!

LETS PRODUCE SOME POLLEN, MAYBE!

I've been spraying the 2 old mums with colloidal silver for about 5 days now. So bugger it, time to put them under the 1000W HPS and on to 12/12.

CAN THESE OLD MUMS PRODUCE MALE FLOWERS?

These plants generally produce flowers very quickly when put on to 12/12. I'll keep spraying them until the male flowers, if any, appear. I think they will stretch and go a little bit big on me when flipped to 12/12. Then I will hang the 1000W HPS vertically. Let's see what happens.

THE COLLOIDAL SILVER PRODUCTION CONTINUES

THE COLLOIDAL SILVER PRODUCTION CONTINUES

Time for another batch. To speed up the process we can add a small amount of previously made colloidal silver to "seed" the batch. This raises the electrical conductivity and shortens the start up time.

ADD A SMALL AMOUNT OF COLLOIDAL SILVER TO THE JAR

picture.php

TOP UP WITH DISTILLED WATER

picture.php

INSERT THE GENERATOR AND SWITCH ON TO MANUAL, IN AUTO IT WILL SHUT DOWN AT ABOUT 20 PPM, I WANT IT AT ABOUT 40 PPM, IN MANUAL MODE THE PROCESS CONTINUES, NON STOP

That right electrode should have heavy deposits of silver oxide on it in a few hours. Another batch of colloidal silver is born.

man ive been to do this for so many time, ive never found the willing to go foward with the project though, but your pics inspire me to give it a try, ill have to find some appropriate silver to conduct the experiment, hope yours turns out the way ya wanna!

The experiment continues. I've moved the 2 old girls under the 1000W HPS and tonight they go on to 12/12. I've noticed some of the leaves turning into weird shapes, not the usual leaf curl this strain develops. Initially I thought they may have been to close to the 430W HPS but the condition is evident lower down the plant. I'll post some pics when the camera battery recharges. I suspect the colloidal silver is causing these strange leaf shapes.

BroughtSuperior, I purchased a commercial colloidal silver generator cos I live in a remote area and it would cost me more in fuel driving around looking for all the appropriate parts for DIY.

12/12, THE REVERSAL

12/12, THE REVERSAL

In about 1 1/2 hours I will light the big 1000W HPS. Here's a pic of the weird leaf shapes these plants developed after the colloidal silver spraying commenced.

CURLED UP, CURLED DOWN, CURLING ALL OVER THE PLACE

1 1/2 HOURS TILL LIFT OFF

Hope this shit isn't killing the plants, the colloidal silver generation continues daily, 2 sprays per day, let the show commence.

Hi mate,

Yeah that is definately from the cs. You can back off a bit from that point and you dont have to spray 2x a day to get em to reverse. You can over do it and kill em or make them so mutated that pollen is minimal as well, just watch em and do it by feel and it will work. I haven't read every post, sorry if this has been covered or i'm just stating the obvious. Good luck your thread is great to read. :)

Thanks puffin fresh, I might just back it off a bit. The 1000W HPS just fired up and 12/12 begins. Those mutations definitely started after the colloidal silver spraying began. Maybe the ppm is too high, I don't know.

I take it as a sign I have got to where I want and then just spray to maintain levels if ya know what I mean. I like it when the cs is strong enough to do its job quickly like that though. ;) Good luck :)
