just got back from west TN, western KY, Missouri, Arkansas, louisiana, Texas, and then back home. cheapest reg gas seen was $2.42 a gallon, most expensive was $2.99. odd, the expensive shit was from closest to the refineries in the gulf area. ??? cheapest was between Gnashville and Knarxville right along the interstate...WAY the hell further away. transportation costs don't influence prices here... :dunno: WTF ???

makes perfect sense. you live in an oligarchy, where the rich rule. what you have experiened in the hamptons is just a slight flavor of that.

same reason why the grocery stores with the same shit are always better quality in the "rich" areas.

i can't comment on grocery stores, as i rarely go into the 'hood' to shop, tho i do if i want some special veggies or fruits, or spanish meats... top notch indeed..

as to gas... i find that the cheapest gas is in lower class areas... the more affluent areas have higher prices... my observation...

when shit gets out of control... like the blm rioting/burning of buildings... or the student protests last year.. if the locals can't control it, damn rite bring in the military... u want to protest, go ahead and do so, but make it peaceful...

I make a distinction between BLM riots and students protesting genocide.

BLM was a con, it seemed like the goal there was to funnel money to some people and foment discord rather than bring solutions. "You ain't black, if you don't destroy some private property and act like a dipshit". Also a good place for silly white liberals to earn some virtue signaling points or get yelled at by some spoiled liberal arts black chick crying "oppression" while looking at her expensive i-phone and asking her dad to send her more money.

I think there could have been better ways to prove their point....what was the point of BLM anyway? Where'd all the money go?

I'm pleased students protested genocide. Not endorsing every protester's behavior, but protesting genocide seems pretty legit to me. Who's FOR genocide?

Not a fan of using military against protesters, it leads to unintended consequences and sets bad precedence. Militaries are said to "keep the peace" but that's not really what they do, they impose order. There is a difference if you look closer, but people get trained to repeat the phrases they're taught. If people are peacefully protesting a genocide, a genocide which clearly violates peace, using military against them can't be "keeping the peace".

Kent State redo anyone?

protesting genocide... def...but make it peaceful.... when jewish students at a college are forced to lock themselves in the classroom as protesters are banging on the door, these dipshits deserve whatever they get... these incidents don't make the 5oclock news (maybe on fox/etc) ... turn the tables... the students locking themselves in the classroom are black, the dipshits banging on the door are white...welcome to the 'new' BLM...

our moral compass is all fuk'd up

You make some good points.

People should be held accountable for their individual actions, not the actions of people that may share ethnicity or religion etc. with them, but aren't them.

By their logic any group that has privilege cannot be the victim of racism, sexism, or any other ism.

The only violence came from Zionist mobs funded by billionaire pieces of garbage like Bill Ackman and Pedo Seinfeld's wife.

Pretty scary how easy it is to convince an American on something that isn't even happening yet they're utterly silent on the real atrocities being carried out and facilitated by the US govt.

In a statement to the New York Jewish Week, Cooper Union said, “The library was closed for approximately 20 minutes late this afternoon while student protestors moved through our building. Some students who were previously in the library remained there during this time.”

"Students who were inside the library said protesters were yelling "Free Palestine" at them as they banged on the door."
