Update time and thing are looking fine and dandy!
First I'll start with the new seedlings, they've really started to GROW! 3 weeks from being germed. They are being fed with Canna Coco A+B, Rhizotonic@ 4ml/lt and Cannazym@ 2ml/lt. ec is 0.6ms/cm.



Now the mums. I repotted them into 20L pots a couple of days ago.So they should shoot away. ec is 1.2ms/cm.


And on to the Jungle!!
3 weeks in and the strech is almost over.
Its a bit hard to move around, but I guess that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make...lol. It looks like it should be a bumper harvest!! They are starting to form something that resembles budz, so I'll start taking close-ups from this week on. Enjoy, and remember to







First is Heavy Duty Fruity. ec is 1.1ms/cm


Next is Kc 36, she start to resin up early! ec is 1.0ms/cm


Now we have Love Potion.. ec is 1.1ms/cm


And lastly, Northern Light x Skunk1..she also starts to devlop quickly. ec for her is 1.3ms/cm...Hungary Bitch!,

Beautiful grow you got there bro, i love your selection in plants too. I was wondering if you could tell me a little about your flushing methods, like when you start and for how long on clones? and also when do you decide to flush seed plants? ive been finding that a 2 week flush with the shorter plants im now growing is seeming a little too long and plants are yellowing out too much, well i guess it means they are well flushed but a few have had to come down early becaue they were yellowed too early and it was creeping into the buds.
By the way, the Love potion has been on my 'to do' list for some time now and after seeing your HDF she has stormed onto the list too.....cant wait for the cup, gonna be great to meet ya.....you are still coming i hope?

Hey True,
Thanks for the compliments. Its interesting that you bring up flushing, cos I flushed the HDF I just grew for a bit over 2 weeks and I thought it was a bit long, it might have just been my imagination, but it didn't seem as flavourful as previous grows. Or quite as smelly for that matter. I also thought I may have let her go a bit long, so this time round, cos I've got plenty to play with, I'm gonna harvest the HDF at 10, 11, and 12 weeks and try flushing for 7, 10, and 14 day. I suspect a plant let go for 11 weeks with a 10 day flush will come ou the best. Only time will tell, though. And I'll be sure to let you know when I find out.
You can definatly count on me being at the cup, along with a couple of friends. And I'll be glad to shout you some Love Potion and some HDF.

Time for an update!

Time for an update!

G'day everyone,
It's update time.
And as usual, we'll start with the veg room.
I cranked-up another light and whacked half of my seedlings under it, so all of them are getting maximum light. I got a light meter a while ago, and was playing with it the other day, and realised the seedlings on the outer were getting 2/3 the light their siblings were . All better now though, and they're starting to really shoot away now.

Flo is in the foreground, Sour Diesel the background


Strawberry Diesel in front, Mother's Finest at the back.

They are all being fed 0.7ms/cm with 3ml/lt Rhizo and 2.5ml/lt Cannazym

The Mums are 7 weeks old. And shooting out potential clones everywhere.
ec is 1.4ms/cm. 2ml/lt rhizo, 2.5ml/lt cannazym


Now for my pride and joy....
The girls have been blooming for 4 weeks now, and some are showing things that resemble real buds!

Firstly, HDF ec is 1.2ms/cm

They are all getting 1ml/lt rhizo, 2.5ml/lt cannazym, 1.5ml/lt carboload and 1.5ml/lt pk 13 14.
So there you are, another problem-free week , and looking forward to next, I have just aquired another place. So this looks to be the last round this room'll see (oh,the memories). But I got MUCH bigger and better things in store for y'all.... ....Wait and see

that is a well organized grow indeed. what a plesure its been seeing the superb results your achieving. like i told you i'm a great fan of coco. to me its the best of both worlds. you can get great tasteing buds like with earth but you get growth rates like in a hydro setup. i couldn't imagine uesing anything else.

it doesn't look like you have a dripper system in there? do you water by hand in that case? i also use the canna series of nutes, i see you know the trick of keeping the rhizotonic well into flowering. what about bioboost do you use it? if not i would recomend you give it a try. its a wickid supplement for flowering, bit expensive though.

when it comes to flushing i have found over the years that in coco slabs the flush is done much quicker than in earth. if you keep flushing too long after the medium is cleared out, then you will result in causeing the plants to get stressed and a reversed osmosis can take place in the roots. i find the perfect flushing time is 3 to 5 days in coco slabs. the first day i'll pump a whole tank of water through the system to get that ec down, then i leave it to run normaly for another 3 to 4 days with just plain water throwing away the return. i've found as long as my plants had 24 to 48 hours with an ec lower then 0.8 in the return, then the taste is great and very intense. if you keep flushing too long it can really cause negative effects. with earth it takes longer as the nutes are much more tied up. in coco the nutes are water soluable and can be flushed out like in a hydro medium quite quickly.

anyway great job timtim, thanks for a great read. i can't wait to meet up and try some of those interesting strains.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the info & compliments.
To answer your questions- No I don't have a dripper system, I used to grow using the Libra tray system, with RW slabs, though, not coco, and I didn't like it at all. I would much rather hand-water plants in individual pots, it might be a bit more work, but it gives me soo much more control, hell I could grow 20+ varieties this way in one run, and give 'em all excactly what they need. So thats why I garden the way I do.
Now I've got a question for you....you mentioned bioboost, do you wanna elaborate on what it is/does? I'm just looking at trying out some new additive, so this one might be of interest.

i can totaly relate to what your saying about your setup. the hand watering is the only way that alows you to run different strain at the same time and still give each strain what it needs. i'm too lazy to water by hand so i'm forced to grow one strain at a time lol.

anyway the bioboost is a new addative by canna. it like a flowering taste and weight enhancer. its 100% bio, you start to use it after the first pistil hairs begin to show, with my 9 week strain WW it means after 14 days of 12/12 i start to add it to the tank at 1ml per lt.after another 14 days one is suposed to double the dose to 2 ml per lt added to the normal canna coco A+B, cannazym and rhizotonic.i keep useing it until one week after the pk 13/14 boost, but canna says one can use it till flush.

what it suposed to do is enhance the nutrient uptake capabilities of the plants roots system, as well as generaly helping the bio life in the root zone and also stregnthens the plants imunesystem. i don't know all the details of whats in it, but its like black molases, just not quite as thick as molases, but very thick concidering its a liquid additive. i have recently added the bioboost to my nute plan, and i have had some very good results, but there again i've had equaly good results before i ever heard of bioboost, or pk 13/14. mind you it seems my results have become steadyer since uesing these suplements. but on the other hand it might be due to more experience lol. in the end its very hard to say with any certainty what any suplements are doing.

If you look at the fourth post down, Podracer makes the claim that his buddy had only a 2gr. difference between a plant that was vegged for a month and one that went into flowering right after rooting.
