I'd say that those cutz were too big and there is too much leaf on them. Cut off all leaves except the top growing tip and leaves just below that. You can clip the remaining leaves to half their length, just cut off the tips. There are no roots to take up water so all those leaves are a burden on the cut. 3" or so is plenty height for a clone.

I just built a wick cloner myself to hopefully get success with a strain I have (Sugabear II's OB1) that is very difficult and slow to clone.
Lev, how do you feel about 1/4 strength bloom nute in the water to give P for root growth?

Hi, thank you that is good info. I have a Sugabear II OB1 mom, which is a clone of a mom from seed, but this girl is one tough cloner. The Oregon 90 in her, apparently. Everyone who has had her has experienced cloning difficulty. It can be done as my mom was cloned, but she is 1 of 4. The other 3 died.
I have a cut now in peat pellet for aro 3 weeks now. I hate to disturb the stem but I had to check as it did not feel solid and rooted at all. It sure wasn't dead, but she was starting, the top growing area was losing it's dark green and fading to yellow. I pulled it up and there was a single healthy white root bud, about 2mm long, that formed, and of course, broke it trying to reinsert the cut. I think that may spell doom for this girl, maybe she has it in her to put out more root, we'll see.
I built a perlite wick cloner, as per Grateful Head's design and instruction, and used only plain tap water. The water ph is 8ish, so I may need to bring it down to 6.8, not sure.
I took five cuts of the mom and in they went, no rooting hormone, so we'll see how it goes.
I think I will add some fulvic acid to adjust the water in the cloner.
I will let you know how it goes.

tnx for all the info guys. My girls are doing wonderfull, some of them are overgrown that 3x the veg size and are now 4 times the veg size..I have raised my light as far as it goes i even took out the black thing with strings that help u lower the light and hang the light directly on the hooks.all the plants have buds on them now exept 2 that i put in realy late. I senn this trick in 1 of the videos where the guy breaks the top of his plant and bends it down. I did that 2 one of my plants and 2 days later she bounced back up almoust like i didnt bend her at all. i did that than with 3 more bigger plants and same thing happend. SO far im happy. Crystals allover the place buds are poping from everywhere. Friend of my that grow his plants to b 2,5 feet tall told me he got an ounce per plant and he is telling me im eazy gona get 2 ounces per plant since mine are 4 feet +. im not sure but w/e i get il b happy since its my first grow. Anyway il post some pictures next week. Is there anything i need to know about the finishing part of this process beside the flush that comes week before they done. Also i have another quastion. Since some of my plants have been put into flowering week or two beore the others il have to flush them earlier. The problem is i cant realy reach them to single flush them and they are all set up on drip system. Does any1 have any sugestions on what i could do here. The older once are in week 5 of flowering so i got 2-3 weeks to find solution. ANd what happens if u dont flush the plants? Tnx again.. laterz
good tip, only harvest buds that are ready and leave the rest on the plant. The buds left on will swell and mature once they receive more light and energy from the plant. This is a good way to maximise your harvest.
Watch your trichomes for maturity!
Btw, my OB1 clone in the peat pellet finally rooted! 36 days!! yikes, but yay I can now flower out some good smoke.

It's a personal choice.
The thrichomes go from clear to cloudy to amber and the buzz goes from heady to couch lock the longer you let it go. Hair colour will not tell you when your bud is done.
I would harvest some at 10% amber, some at 30% and some at 50% or more if you are brave, label them all and smoke them and see what buzz you like the best.

i would say you got atleast another 2 weeks tho dino...
wouldnt wanna see you harvest early after the hard work you have put into this!
the hair color can give you some information...they usually grow from white, to orangeish to red...and i would say normally not all the time that when a plants pistils "hairs" are 75% orangeish redish the buds are close to harvest...but MAKE sure you check those trichs to make sure that they are rdy...

Dino! Your first grow is awesome! what temp is your flowering room and do you have a chiller for your res?

Temps are around 76-78 and rez temp are around 69-73, dont have chiller but i instaled ac vent directly from my ac unit into the closet, and it blows directly on to the rezervoir. Today is 40 days for some of them and 30 for others, of flowering that is. Guys i cant explain the tempteion im facing. Im smoke some shity ass regs' and watchin and smelling this stuff.. Uggghhhhhh Crazy. I even dont wana be in there at all , just quick ph , ppm check and quick glanz across the closet and run out..lol Yesterday i stay in there lil longer and i grabbed 1 of the oldest plants main cola. guys this stuff looks like pro's picture from the internet. lol I was like, shit, this is ready..lol but na, i ran out quick before anything bad happend
Anyways il keep u all posted with new pic in bout 10 days when more flowers get bigger. Pz...

if you were to harvest late? Well the tch would start to degrade and it would become less potent...
just check the trichs and harvest when its about 20-50% amber...you can even harvest with 10% amber...jsut make sure you arent harvesting when you have 75%clear and only 25% milky or somthing like that...you want to make sure your bud is mature.
