I started my diarie in wrong section of the forum so i just copy paste it here.

1st time grower.
Ok here we go. Im doing this in coco grow(botanicare, brick). I got some sensi seeds 10 ww 10 bb and 10 Jock Horror. I saved 5 JH for god forbid. Well i waited for my sensi seeds for a month and they never came so i decide to order some BC seeds as well. Well i gues there was some kind of strike in Europe from mail man and thats why my sensi seeds were late. They came in a 4 days before the bc seeds. I saved 5 ww and 5 bb seeds also for god forbid something bad happens. Bc seeds gave me 5 femin. Budha for free, so they are on the go also.. Anyway my Sensi seedlings are 14 days old and my BC seedlings are 9 days old.I have 23 sensi that have sprouted and are growing and 25 bc sprouted and growing. The sensi once i got about 4-5 that are small.not gona make it. and my BC all look good so far. Im using t5s to Veg them, i got 4 bulbs on each set up(1 sensi 1 bc) and im gona flower them under 1k w Sun master 150.000 lumens in a 4 by 5 feet area. How ever 1 of my BB (sensi) is not looking good, its drying out, id' say nut. burn but im noob so, what do i know.I took some photos but im not sure yet how to post them on here and i will do that soon as i find out how. They are sitting in a closet with small aircond. cooling them and keeping them on 74-79 F with the ph of 5,8-6,0 and tds 1020(my tap water is 380 tds). I have also noticed that few other BB(sensi) had a burn in the middle of the 2nd set of leaves(il show pic later). I had the nut. on 1120(minus 380=740) chart says 740-860) so i droped down a lil bit in hope they will str8ing up and heal. O ye as soon as i sew that brun in the leaf i flushed the hell out of them with ph-ed water and let them dry for about 2 days before i fed them again with the lower Nut. ok i think i just found out how to post pic so il do that right away. O yes Any info or sugestion or criticts is more than welcome and appriciated, and sorry for my misspels, english is my 4th language. tnx

Dino

Anyways that was all like 6-7 days ago so il post some updated pictures real soon. The burned leafe one has picked up realy nice and the new leafes are real green and healthy looking.

I gota quastion. In my flowering closet the temp. is about 84-86F with 35-40 Humidty, and there is not much i can do about it for month or two. Since all my plants are veggin i dont have anything in there yet, i was wondering if that temperature would kill my plants? I have a/c coming directly into the closet and 4 inch inlane fan take the air out trough carbon filter. And the 1K lam is cooled down by a 6inch inlane fan trowing the air out into the adic. pls any sygestions are welcome. Tnx

k its been a week or 8 days since last photos. My babys are doing good, id say beside from few(nut burned leafs i think) everything is doing great. My flowering room is almoust ready. I will have about 5 feet from the tray to the glass from my light(in flowrering room. So i dont want my babys geting 2tall in veggin.Il post some pics tomorow. The older onces are at day 22 veggin from when i put the seeds in coco. Next Sat. they are going into flowring while il leave the younges once for another wek in vegg.My burned leafs are on Big bud. Iv heard and read that this strain can be abused and beaten and still give the best results, But so far it has only showen to be the weakest strain in my grow. I have 4 strains Jock Horror, WW, Budha nd' BB. All of them are looking prety, esspecialy WW and Budha.

Wow nice garden!

Yah that was some nute burn there early, but looks like you got it dialed now! Seedlings do not need any food for the first 2 weeks. I will give the media a one time dose of 1/4 strength bloom, for root development, then plain, ph'd water for the next 2 weeks, then gro at half strength, then up it as the plants can handle it. You want a little burn on some of the tips of your plant leaves, but if you see spots or blotches like above, you are too strong.

84 -86 is fine for your plants, but reduce the nute strength as temps rise. Plants don't eat as much the warmer they are. Run your 12/12 overnight for cooler temps.

Keep that ph in there, 6.5-6.8 is ideal.

Get the flowering light to 18" - 24" to your plants, the closest you can get it without burning. If it burns the back of your hand, it will burn your plants.

Good luck with the jungle!

Tnx Pete

Iv noticed u said to keep Ph at 6,5-6,8 but i think thats for soil and im growing in Coco, I keep my ph 5,7-6,0 and i did gave them nut from day1 but it was slow like super slow(100tds), right now they all looking prety good, im gona put the top once into flowering on saturday couse they will be about 11-12 inches than wich is the hight i wana go with. Im glad to hear that my babys will survive the temperature 84-86 its only for a month couse we hav record high temp. right now where i live and in a month it will drop down 10-15 F wich will make diff for the house my babys r IN > anyway tnx again for the advice..

he's in coco not soil!!!
u can start feeding when the plants get they first true set of leaves
and a ph above 6.5 in coco is gonna lead to trouble
5.6-6.2 is ideal like he said
looks good dino keep it up hommie

Why is coco different than soil? I am curious about is.

I am in coco, ph'd to 6.8, and so far so good. What's the diff between the medias? Coco is an organic amendment like peat, but ph neutral.

I think I understand now. You are using coco as a hydro media, while I assumed you were using coco as a replacement for peat in a soil type grow. Is this correct? My grow is using coco as a soil grow.

100% coco
so yea, i had serious lockouts n bloom
my meter broke and i knew my ph was not right
now that i got a new meter ph is 5.8 n no problems like the last run

:badday:
whats wrong with 100% coco
unless u plan on amending ur soil
and want to do organic
coco by its self is off the chain
