My First Grow - White Widow

Hello, finally decided to get off my lazy butt and post some pics; and maybe get some advice. Cause I'm sure I may be doing something wrong.
Anyways, this is my very first grow, so I am keeping this very simple.

Got a box in my closet, 48"H x 24"W x 24"D with Reflectix to bounce light.
Using Fox Farm potting soil; with Big Bloom, Big Grow, and Tiger Bloom for nutes.
8x 100watt equivalent CFLs (4x 5500k for veg, 4x 2700 for flower)

I am starting with 2 seeds, I didn't want to do more than that as I want to keep this simple. Germinated Thursday 19MAR09, roots showing Friday afternoon. Decided to plant early Saturday.

On to the pictures.

These pics were taken from 24MAR09 to 29MAR09.
I will do my best to uploaded at least 1-2 pics daily.

I wouldn't give any nutes to the seedlings until the seedling leaves turn brown.

If you give them nutes, you can burn them.

Just a personal preference.

good luck with your grow mate. white widow is a light feeder from what I can gather, so definitiely go easy on the nutes...:smile:

Thanks for the advice on the nutes. I haven't used any yet, I have done a decent amount of reading and I figured the plants would let me know when they needed it.

what medium are you using? i use promix and with that you need to add 1/4 fert at 1 week.... i have been growing seedsman W.W. what breeder are yours from??

Looks good man. Please dont wait to feed your seedlings. The key to feeding is giving your plants the nutes it is gonna need before it starts starving for them. That is truth to any plant growing. Bad advice when people tell others not to feed their seedlings. Why let a seedling starve to the point of lacking an essential nutrient?

I am using Fox Farm, I started fert last week. I am going by Fox Farm's directions but not doing full strength yet.

I also transplanted to new bigger pots Friday. I have some new pictures to upload today.

Edit: Oh, and I also acquired my seeds from HighGrade Seeds

Friday, 10APR09, I switched to a 12/12 light cycle. I have a feel I may have done it a little early but this is my first grow and I'm not sure how big they will get. I don't want to out grow my box. But the plants look healthy.
