also dont watch tv that will save you 60 bucks a month alone depending on your tv size and how much you watch...but reality is the eclectic company is in the business of selling electricity...the more you use the happier they are...as long as you pay on time..i personally use the auto pay feature they have

Charcoal filter is the way to go.

Your power bill is not a prob at all, you made me chuckle that you were worried.

Install CFL's around your house, that will cut a little power.

I did that and was able to run another 400 watt digi with the savings...my outside floodlights not being used at night allows me another 1000 watts if I wanted...pay the bill ontime and they wont think twice...

Every bulb in my house is now a CFL.

Another way I save power is to turn the electric water heater off and only turn it on for an hour once a day - unless it's bitter cold out, your water heater should stay hot for 24 hours without being on wasting electric.

My electric bill is still 300-350 a month...

I hear the "adverage" is like 1000 W per bdrm.. so IF you have a 4 RM house 4k would be normal... so figure unless your like 100% over that I would not worry,,,, .. its not the $$ amount its the KW used,,,, just watch your bills,, and try some energy saving ideas,, it will help all of us,, ,, and you can save that $$ for a filter.....

my fucking electric bill is 400 plus every month, fish tanks grow lights and a overpowered computer along with a big screen and a plasma tv and two fridges means I pay out the ass non stop. Good thing this house is paid for our I wouldn't make bills every month

I have a 10,000 watt grow. my bill has averaged $1500.00 a month for over four years. so as long as you don't try to steal power you are fine. gotta love this thing of ours. I make more money a year than four doctors combined.

yo stoney,itts not just the ten k's but the 14500btu windowless
air conditioner I have to run the twelve hours of flower plus about four to bring it down to temp at night. not to mention the ten ton home ac I have to also run all day and most of night. add regular living in a six bedroom house to that and you get $1500+ per month.shit I have had a bill in the dog days of august for $1700. stay safe and succeed,cyrus..
