Here is a shot of my 4 Girls freshly transplanted to 5 gallon buckets. The top left one is the only White Rhino Girl that I ended up with. The other 3 are NL x BB and the 2 off to the left are Magical Mystery Mix #2, does anyone have any idea what strains are in MMM #2? I would reallly like to know what strain I am smoking when its all said and done.

The 4 Girls are 1 month old from seed today, and I plan on vegging them for 1-2 more weeks (I guess it depends how much patience I have). I have been LST'ing the whole time and I am going to take clones soon and try and SCROG these girls if at all possible. Here are the pics I hope everyone enjoy!!! :lurk:

Well this is my attempt at trying to do a scrog. I am just wondering opinions on whether or not I should let it veg a little longer or flip to 12/12 and get this show on the road?

if you want like 120g a plant, veg those for 4 weeks, top them once if they are gettin to tall. maybe twice. I dont know about scrog, but i do know about growing in 5 gallon soil, and i assure you veg 3-4 weeks(edit: from clone, so from seed like 6-7 weeks id say)or to about 18 inches high if you dont top them, if i were you this is what i'd do.

Atleast give them 4-5 more days, only 3 days since xplant. I think you see the extra week or so will help, get that stalk thick in that 5 gallon before goin in flower so it can suck up anything u throw at it.

Other than vegging longer, you have a wonderful looking grow. good luck bro !

Update, Day 3 of 12/12

Update, Day 3 of 12/12

   Well for those of you who are still following here is an update. I will post pics later when lights off so you can see the nice green color! Let me know what you guys think, the White Rhino is on the bottom Left and the other three are Northern Lights #5 x Big Bud. The two in the smaller pots to the left are MMM #2 which I am LST'ing, the top one is a confirmed female but I still am not sure about the bottom one yet. The bottom one has very dark colored stems and very dark dark green leaves, anyone know what strains are in MMM #2?

Hiya Heavy Chevy!
Been a bit since I peeked in - looks like you're well on your way. I agree with tommy - at minimum you might want to veg until the screens are full and then get a bit of height on them.

Don't know about the background of the MMM, lsting them will reap nice rewards at harvest time.

This is looking real fine for your second grow! All of them look very happy.

Thanks Mr. Greenjeans, as much as I wanted to wait a week or two longer I just couldn't... :bat: Weed is hard to come by around where I live and hell this is why I don't bother with buying the shit from shady people anymore I just grow my own. Which was all the more reason I decided to flip em to 12/12. Hell I have to wait 2 more months now atleast... As for the MMM I plan and taking a few clones from them for mother plants and if the smoke is any good i'll have something to use to grow more in the future. :yummy:

you should try to grab a few ww clones as well. like they said if youd vegged another week it woulda made you a good bit happier in the end but i feel you on the flip, i could resist either and flipped a week early, lol

gl i'll drop back by and dont sweat it, these threads just take a while to get crunk!

Understood - I'd do the same. Get a nice stash up, over-riding importance! Plus they will stretch some. Maybe give them veg nutes for the first couple weeks to help them get some height.

love watching scrogs fill out and bud up! :yummy:

Righto guys, gotta get my stash before I can start having some real fun with my grows. I just hope this SCROG will evens out nice and good so i have a somewhat level canopy. For some reason I am still having light bleaching problems which I really don't understand at all. The light is about 20 inches from the canopy and I have used the same light in my 1st grow sitting 12 inches from the topa of the plants with no light bleaching problems. Anyone have any brilliant ideas on what might be causing this?

hey bud I just found your grow and I gotta tell ya brother your a natural! Those are some healthy plants, all grow long you did them right :)

Now on your question. You say you are getting bleaching? Are you sure its not just heat stress? On my 1000s I don't get bleaching until around 3" from the cooltube.

If its heat stress a simple fix is a fan blowing on the bulb or just above the canopy. Itll create a wall of air and your canopy temps will drop dramatically.

BabyHughie, I am not sure what the bleaching is coming from maybe some scratches or skuffs on my reflector causing hot spots? I have a big box fan blowing directly under my light over the top of the canopy which keeps the temps at 80F and I have the light about 20 inches away and its still seems to be happening. :chin:

Kind of frusterates me because everything has been going good during this grow for the most part except some stupid problem that i can't seem to fix. :badday:

Anyways I have an update for you all I believe this is either day 6 or 7 of flowering hope you all enjoy!

LOL Chevy bro I think your just trippin on the bleachin man I don't see ANY light bleaching in those last pics, and youd be able to see it from the top canopy view.

If you are talking about the lighter shade of the newest growth, thats pretty normal IMO. It happens when plants are growing very fast :D Within a couple days that lighter growth will be nice and dark and there will be new growth above it I bet.

If thats what you were talking about, if not just ignore me :D They look very nice bro your doing a good job.

Lol no I am not just high and seeing things! I will have to get a close up shot of it later for you so you can better see it, I am just so damn lazy and those 5 gallon buckets full of dirt are so heavy to be moving around!

But yeah Mynameisstitch seems to believe it was bleaching and she seems to be quite knowledgable in the sick plant area. Its real random and spread out which is why I know its not Nute related because there is no real pattern to it, and I have checked a million times for insects with my radioshack scope. I also keep the door open to my room to circulate air and keep temps down because I dealt with alot of heat stress and ended up with airy buds on my first grow... :pointlaug

And thanks its always nice to hear I am doing things right.

Those Latest pics I posted are just after watering, I went and checked on the girls today and they are exploding with growth!!! I am still amazed at the wonders of this plant and how it grows :joint:

well stitch knows her shit no doubt there :joint:

I will just say that I have quite a bit of experience with both bleaching and heat stress and the only thing I see on any of your plants is some heat stress, and just a very small bit of it on those 2 plants off to the side in the first pic.

Without aircooling and glass you will get heat stress long before you get bleaching. In my experience.

I circled the only heat stress (aka burning from radiant heat) that I see. I see no bleaching what so ever. :joint:

Seriously with a 400w unless you have the bulb damn near touching the plants then you won't get bleaching. Im talkin within inches of the bulb.

I am only just starting to get some very minor bleaching on a couple branches that are within 3-4" of my 1k HPS bulb.

Who knows tho Im probably wrong. :moon:

The plants are healthy and thats whats most important! :D
