Ohhh man. My friend's getting some of those this weekend, and I'm gonna set him up. He's prolly gonna use some 2-3 foot flouros. Lol, since he's seen mine, he's got the urge to give growing another try. Stoked!

Oh, and I'm so stoked about that frosting, building up. You can tell a difference in the trichome amount after a night. It's crazy.

I wish it were only a couple weeks though! Lol, thanks for 'stopping by' Unc! I hope I get a good amount off of it! Lol, I actually had a nightmare where I wake up, and it's about the day to harvest. I harvest, and I weigh out about 8 ounces, or something crazy like that, and then after it drys (in dream time) it dropped to like 4 grams or something. Hahah what the crap is wrong with my head.

Awesome you and your buddy can share genetics. I have a buddy that whats to grow after i showed what a couple a PC's will do. Hes got himself a nice sized dresser and im going to help him set it up over time so we can both smoke dank nugs for FREE!!!!!

I try to check my plants about once a day so i can notice changes, nothing better than seeing them starting to glisten with trichrome coverage when just the night before there was nothing

You know it! Lol, it's actually floss. I don't think it's flavored. Hahah it's all I had, plus, it's kinda fluffy and soft so I think it "cradles" the plant. Hahahaha just joshing. But it works pretty well, I must say! I'm definitely going to LST much earlier on next time. Well, that's IF my plants turn out so bushy next time!

Damnn, a dresser is where it's at. I think I'll probably go lookin' at the Salv or some thrift stores around here after I move. I'm going to need a bigger cab for either flowering or veg. I love putting stuff together. Oh, and the "FREE" part certainly is a plus. I'm so sick of buying weed. Hahahaha. Paid 190 for an ounce the other day. WTF?! Earlier in the year, I was getting $120 ounces! Anyhow, can't wait to harvest. Free bud is the best bud. Thanks for stoppin' in Fuzz!

Thanks for the pictures man! That freakin' plant got HELLA big. I really wanna do a hydro setup (maybe DWC?) next time I grow. At least 1 plant. That's pretty incredible what you did with that sick clone. I hope my clone pops roots out soon! It's still doin' very well, not wilting at all. Thanks for stoppin' by Cheese!

Hey guys, I have a quick question. The pistils on the flowers are turning brown. The buds are still very small, and I was wondering if the browning of the pistils is something I should be worried about. My friend says they turn brown as they mature, but they aren't anywhere near that. I'm kinda stressin'. I also know that they turn brown when they start to reveg. Anyone think there's a problem?

no worries. Higher temps and higher nute levels lead to quicker ripening; I am a tree grower in hydro so Scrub would be better to comment on cab grows.

Ohh, that makes sense! My temps have been getting a little high in the afternoon with the lights on. It warms up outside so my apartment also warms up. I don't really like to run the A/C cause I don't wanna have to spend hella money for the PGE bill. Annnnnyhow, thanks for the insight Hydro!

I also don't like to run the AC just to suit my plants. Combat temps by running your lights at night. Mine run from 9:30 PM to 9:30 AM. It helps, doesn't cure, just helps.

Running lights at night turned me into a night owl but it's a good idea - I probably wouldn't change times this run though unless it was terrible. Check for a herm flower, you only need one tiny one to do damage and it will turn the hairs.

And floss regularly Show some pics if you can!

Oh fk. I don't think it should be a herm flower. Oh man, would that mean it's gonna be seeds? Dammmn. I hope not. I'm kinda leaning towards too much heat? Would that turn them brown? It gets pretty hot in there sometimes. My fan is not efficient enough, but it does okay. It's reached 85*F before. :/ I think that was before flowering though. I dunno. I guess I'll see.

You don't thinkk the pistils are turning brown abnormally? I noticed it's been getting about 80 or so about 5 in the afternoon till about 9. It's pretty frustrating. I know for sure I'm going to have to get a new fan that's worth a shit, maybe add a few intakes. I'm pretty sure the heat is getting to the plants. That's another reason they never grew very quickly. I'm pretty sure they are root bound as well. I have to water quite often. Gah.

Any stress can do it really. I had one I let dry out too far early on, plus high temps etc, and it had staggered red hairs from early on - it still finished fine. This is why people usually judge harvest by trichomes, because hairs can be affected by random things like that.

If it was a hermie, and it's probably not, you will see the pods swelling where the dead hairs were, in a few days or so. You know what herms look like right? Just scan the whole plants for strange pods that don't look like the others. Just to be sure.

80 is nothing, man. It's probably the other factors you mentioned - I bet it dried out or something.

I wish I could keep my cab at 85 or less. Temperature isn't a real problem til you get over 90 (in general). What's the humidity?
